Pros: The staff and amenities left nothing to be desired
Cons: Nothing. Everything you need, they accommodate

Cons: Rooms were not sound proofed and we could hear quiet music next door and everything in the hallway. The beds also rolled far too easily and we're constantly shifting

Pros: Perfect location, very close to the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful room, with lots of luxurious little touches. The view I had was very good. I will forever enjoy the memory of opening my windows to listen to the sounds of Florence below. The rooftop bar was wonderful. The view from the top was great and the service from the bar staff was also top notch.
Honestly, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Italy, and the biggest reason why is the staff. The cleaning staff keeps everything looking sharp and tidy. My room was spotless. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with any request I made, helping me find a jewelry shop off Ponte Vecchio, getting taxis for me, making reservations and recommendations, and doing it all with a smile and in a very friendly manner. They are the shining jewel of this establishment.
Cons: The only thing I can think of that wasn't absolutely perfect is the wifi range. In many places, I could only get two bars, but I could get three in many places as well, so this is a minor problem.
Pros: The hotel staff was amazing. Rachel at the front desk helped us in every way. The rest of the front desk staff were all fantastic.
The upgraded room was deeply thoughtful.
I would recommend hotel very highly.
Pros: Great value. Great location. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Very nice room!
Pros: Location in central Florence is perfect for exploring the city. Staff is helpful and attentive.
Pros: Staff, room service, breakfast, accommodations, but ask for extra pillows. Also, elevators are super slow, but do not despair as other facilities make up for it. Do not walk with luggage to hotel is the only holdback as streets are tough for luggage. Center to sightseeing. As the saying goes, "do not judge a book by its cover", as this hotel's small corner entrance does not do the interior justice. It is truly a **** hotel. No gimmick.
Pros: Everything!! Accommodations, location, charm, Comfort, Cleanliness & kind /helpful staff. Just perfect! Plus the amazing quality breakfast! Would stay there again & again!

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: The old world romantic ambiance was over the top! The suites were gorgeous and delicious breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. This hotel will be on my top 5 worldwide list. The manager was very gracious. Walking distance to all.
Cons: Not a thing.
Pros: Location was terrific - very central to all the key sights in Florence. Rooms were spacious and unique. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Wifi wasn't great on the day we happened to stay, but that's a minor thing.
Pros: The manager and size of the room as well as the location of the hotel.
Cons: Not a thing!

Pros: Perfect location; clean; knowledgeable helpful staff. In addition to a wakeup call, the front desk person also came and knocked on my door to ensure that I was up at 4:00 a.m. in preparation for a 4:40 a.m. taxi ride to the Florence. Very thoughtful.
Pros: Great, great location! Staff was beyond excellent... so accommodating, friendly. Traveling with 2 adults and 2 pre-teens. The view from the kids beds was of the Dome and bell tower. It does not get any better than that!
Cons: Nothing. My hope is that they have openings when I come back to Florence in 2 years.
Pros: Location is great, a block from the Duomo. Also: when my wife and I checked out, we forgot a phone charger in the room. Before we even noticed it missing, the lady from the front desk had walked to the Florence train station to return it to us!
Cons: Wifi was free but a bit tetchy.

Pros: I liked the location. The hotel is beautiful and the people who work there are friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and had all I needed for the night I stayed there. The taxi for the airport was there in 3 minutes. Probably my review should say excellent rather than good.
Cons: The drain in the shower was slow. I forgot to mention that to the front desk employees. I'm sure they would have fixed that if I had let them know.
Pros: We were a short walk for the sites of Florence from Ponte Vecchio to the Uffizi Museum! Restaurants and cafes were plentiful and the staff was extremely helpful.

-Toilet did not flush
Pros: Best location in the centre of Florence. Literally 2 minutes from Piazza delle Signorie, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Republica. Coin department store is next door and La Reniscente one block away.
Cons: Mattress too soft.

Cons: The hotel and kayak booking experience was I'm my mind fraudulent. On booking, I noticed they booked the wrong month from my request. Many phone calls to both booking agent and hotel within hours of the booking and no one was willing to do anything to fix the error. But the certainly kept my money. Horrible experience. Won't use kayak again and wouldn't recommend hotel because they were totally unwilling to fix the reservation even though it was still months away.
Pros: Great location, nice rooms, decent breakfast, very reasonable rates. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Would be nice to have an electric kettle in the room, so we wouldn`t have to ask the hotel to bring hot water to the room to make tea.

Other highlights at this upscale hotel include a terrace, and rooms offer minibars and room service.
Pros: The staff at Helvetia Bristol could not have been warmer and more accommodating during my four night stay. Their warm welcomes and spot-on suggestions were greatly appreciated. I love this hotel and will definitely return. It is a historic boutique hotel (don't expect large rooms). The location cannot be beat in central Florence.
Cons: The rooms are small and in need of a little love (new carpet).
Pros: The location is perfect. 10-15 minute walk to everything, but quiet location. Service like one does not find anymore. Worth the money.
Pros: Cappuccino. Staff was understanding.
Cons: The rooms next to the street are noisy because of the late night bars and at this time of year you can't have AC in the rooms because one system works the entire building. If you are hot or uncomfortable you have to open a window which just lets the noise in. Street cleaners, and trash service comes by at 5am which is nuts! Breakfast was blah...Single room was a closet and horrible shower. Im in shape and didn't fit in the shower.
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Breakfast buffet and some rooms noisy

Individually designed guestrooms share eclecticism as a theme, boasting as they do fusions of fabric and furnishings: Chinese porcelain, bronze and oak period pieces combine with gossamer lace, brocades and silk. Padded fabric wall coverings dotted with 17th century artworks coordinate with draperies, upholstered chairs and bed spreads. Contemporary touches have been introduced to guestrooms in the form of cable television, minibars and Internet ports. Marble bathroom suites offer equally modern conveniences including telephones and a full range of complimentary toiletries.
Enjoy your visit to Lastra a Signa with a stay at Country Hotel Borgo Sant'Ippolito. You can indulge in massages, body scrubs, or mani/pedis, and IL CHIOSTRO serves breakfast and dinner. A bar/lounge and a sauna are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer LCD TVs and minibars.
Cons: We arrived to a rude and dismissive front desk. They proceeded to tell us we couldn't stay in our room unless we paid 50 dollars more than what we paid with kayak. I said absolutely not. they said then we couldn't stay and they would still be charging us the full amount of the room. We left and did not stay there and now have to dispute these fraudulent charges with my credit card. Never stay here!!! Worst service ever!!!!
