Pros: We were welcomed like being part of the family, hospitality great with home made foods for breakfast and hot pancakes. Lovely spot and would go back. Room spacious and comfortable. Owners catered for every need, nothing was too much trouble with plenty of suggestions of things to do
Pros: The 2 hosts Francois e Martine are wonderful people who are doing really everything to make your stay the best you can imagine. It is not a property for people who are looking for bling bling comfort and luxury, but for people who are looking a really warm welcome, a stay close to the beautiful nature/landscape around and with very friendly and helpful people around. To be there again would be a pleasure and also a reason to make some extra kilometers if necessary. Thanks again Francois e Martine for a wonderful 5 days!
Cons: it would be nice if the cock started a bit later with 'kukelekuuuu' :-)
Pros: Excelent breakfast, friendly owners, very good location for hiking
Pros: This is a wonderful Chambre d’Hote. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast was copious and delicious.
Pros: Very friendly hosts
Cons: nothing, everything was perfect..!!
Pros: Great place and the owners were amazingly kind and considerate.
Pros: François and Martine are the kindest host we have ever met! The guest house is very cosey and clean. The breakfast is fantastic! Because we were the last clients of the season, they even invited us for a wonderful dinner. We really appreciate everything they have done for us. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.
Cons: None. Everything is excellent.

Pros: Very comfortable and clean room. Excellent restaurant - best meal of our trip.
Pros: Lovely room, great view, comfortable beds & it cooled down nicely in the evenings. Good facilities for self catering & safe parking in a garage for our motorbikes. We ate in the restaurant on the first night & the meal was delicious. Super quiet setting, apart from one night which we were unlucky as it was an annual music festival moved to opposite the hotel due to electrical issues in the original venue. Staff were very helpful & gave us a filter coffee maker when we asked about the lack of kettle or caffetiere. We will most definitely return next time we tour this area.
Pros: View from the room was good. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Room beside kitchen and delivery at 5am and very noisy. No brush or tea towels and poor cooker.
Pros: Incredible views, nice friendly staff and good food!
Cons: Lights in stairway shut off automatically to save energy but left us in the dark twice.
Pros: Large room, view. Dinner is restaurant good (at extra cost)
Cons: Bathroom dated.

Pros: The breakfast The ambiance mountain The food The bedroom The staff
Pros: Wonderful views and setting, kind hosts and very nice dinners.
Pros: Extremely considerate helpful hosts. Excellent food vailable. Terrific valley setting.
Cons: I did miss not having WiFi connection in the room.
Pros: Newly fitted shower room in our 3 bed room (1double & 2 singles). Great shower. Room Has a balcony that faces the front with the table n chairs. You could tell that it would be nice and warm for the winter. Sauna was fairly big and worked well. Definitely helped after a whole day of hiking. shower next to the sauna but the area you get changed is small and is in a way of the door to the corridor that you may have an interesting encounter with others or the door in your face. Common rooms were well kept and has a nice view. A very cute friendly cat also enjoys the comfy chairs and your company. Great staff and easy check in and out.
Cons: Good location, easy access from st.veran with a car but the hotel's car park is below the hotel without actual stairs or the lights so it was a bit tricky to climb in a dark. (There is a space in front of the hotel to drop off luggages.) Wifi is only available in the common area. Wish there was a bath tub in our room.
Located in Arvieux, L'Etape du Jour is a 1-minute drive from Queyras Regional Natural Park and 7 minutes from The Gallery at Chateau-Queyras. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: nice and helpful owner, beatiful place, comfortable bed, calm at night
Pros: A spacious, clean room with a good bed. Quite affordable.
Cons: Location is in the middle of nowhere in the descend from C. Izoard. Only a couple of restaurants nearby.
Pros: Coming late in the evening a little bit cold already on motorbike, I was welcomed by a charming host, very pleasant company, glass of wine, splendid desert and a burning fireplace. What could you wish more for? Maybe a large map and a route recommendation, which happens to be really amazing. Thank you, it could not have been better.
Pros: The food was excellent, and the spa was a great place to relax after riding up the Col Agnel.
Pros: Located in a small town just before the approach to the Col Agnel, gateway to Italy. Friendly couple. Comfortable beds. Modern, large, lift. Spa and swimming pool ! Lovely terrace with views up to the mountains. Nice assortment of amenities-slippers, bathrobes, etc. Reasonably priced restaurant with local specialities-tartiflette, raclette, etc. Decent breakfast. Spacious bathroom, great shower.
Cons: Just a few parking spaces on asphalt. Most are on gravel and not suitable for sports cars.

Pros: Good location by the ski slopes, good breakfast but all the rest was appealing. Dirty hotel, no WiFi, very poor service with complacent staff.
Cons: The basics are missing. The hotel is dirty with dust all over the black carpets and our bedroom wasn’t done for 24h (we had to ask twice to get some cleaning service). The staff is extremely badly trained- a waiter poured a glass of ice cold water on my husband- he barely apologised and did not offer any help cleaning. Very loud music and radio in the spa and restaurants- people were waiting for ages to be able to pay as the payment systems were down. Lastly our bedroom (203) was located just above the administrative office- we could hear chairs rattling against the floor and footsteps from 10pm until 1am which prevented us from sleeping. Our skis were also misplaced and the staff had to look for it for 20min opening all the storage units. Given our disastrous experience we asked to talk with the newly arrived hotel manager Mr Alberti. He apologised and told us he knew about the bad service and property issues and said he would remedy our bad experience by compensating us. Since we were not able to sleep properly 1 night out of 2 we asked for the refund of the second night. He said he would consider it and let us know he next day. We went him all the pictures of our dirty bedroom and wet accident with the waiter. Not only did he never replied to our email but he said he was unavailable to meet with us. The hotel is way overpriced £700 for 2 nights- with no WiFi (which we badly needed to call family in Paris caring for our young child), no cleaning of our bedroom, noise disturbance etc. This is an hotel to avoid- Chalet Villars next door are half he price and much nicer!
Pros: the breakfast on the balcony.....
Cons: the cleaner comes too late in the day.... the length between our bedroom and the reception hall...
Pros: The place is nuce, the hotel has a lot of amenities and the position/landscape around are remarkable.
Cons: The service is poor, inadequate to the level of the structure. We arrived at 6pm and we had to wait one hour before getting the room. Then the room was still messy, with wrinkle towels, dirty shower and a welcome sweets that look “used”. And the service was poor during all our stay. People don’t speak English and don’t even try to, breakfast was often a mess, with fewer waiters compared to what needed to accomplish guests’ needs and there is very little flexibility in what you can ask.
Pros: Unsurpassed view and general location. Great sweeming pool
Cons: Disappointment of the closed gastronomic restaurant

Pros: Eggs were extra fluffy! Buffet breakfast delicious! The beds were very comfortable! The view of the mountains was incredible!
Cons: Many flys in dining room.
Pros: This hotel and the place were amazing, cozy. The dinner was excellent!
Pros: Great views, great location. Bed was comfortable. But to pay €136 for one person without breakfast included and also extra charges for using the sauna seems way overpriced. The room was nothing special except for the view.
Cons: Very expensive

Pros: It was a very convenient location during a motorcycle tour. We wanted to see the Col d'Agnel but unfortunately it was still closed from the winter (even in June!). Motorcycle friendly owner with locked garage.
Cons: Nothing. It suited us fine.
Pros: great location for cyclists riding Col d'Isoard and Agnel EV charge point outside the hotel demi-pensione offered tasty meals
Cons: only a doona offered and too hot
Pros: Ideal Location in center of town with pleasant open garden. Suprisingly quiet with quick efficient dinner service
Pros: Hotel exactly as described. Location excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. Standard continental breakfast, but dinner good.
Cons: Nothing. It was all good.
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located. Their outside space in their yard was a welcome sight for hikers and cyclists.
Cons: The food was mediocre.

Pros: Booked 2 bedroom apartment. Decent size with one room en-suite. Good location.
Cons: Apartment operates on a self clean basis. Visually looked clean, but when we came to clean at the end of our stay it was clear that cleanliness could be improved.
Pros: Location and size
Cons: Pillows and beds
Pros: Great location in very nice Serre Chevalier
Cons: When we arrived late a Sunday the appartment was not prepared, linen , towels .. When booking the sauna it was open for everybody but the booker was expected to pay.
Pros: Location is great, rooms was nice and with a great view to mountains, kitchenete was fully equiped.
Cons: Appartments was great, but not very clean.
Pros: Great location and very good apartment
Cons: Facilities and personal
Pros: the room was very big and there was everything you needed
Cons: even though the hotel wasn´t full, we had a very dark room on the groundfloor
Pros: The location was very good.
Cons: The cleaning was terrible and the apartment was disgusting, there are no other words to describe it. I actually don't think they cleaned at all after the guests who had our apartment before us.
Pros: Location is excellent and the rooms are a good size & well appointed. No issues with hot water for a shower at the end of a good days skiing.
Cons: 5pm check in seems a little unreasonable given the beds aren’t prepared for you and yet you still have to check out by 10am. Sofa was good for posture: but not comfort. The pool is great to have but pretty cold!
Pros: The location was fantastic, right at the foot of the slopes. The apartment was spacious & modern - we booked a 3 bedroom apartment for 5 of us so plenty of room. Nice large balcony with table & chairs. Shops were within 2 minute walk. Car parking underneath (additional charge) with lift access. Easy check in & check out.
Cons: The swimming pool was too cold so we hardly used it - it was one of the reasons for booking this apartment so that was disappointing. Lack of shelves or drawers for clothing - mostly just wardrobes with hanging space. There was an additional charge for Wi-fi- we would expect this to be included in an apartment of this standard. Some basic maintenance issues - light bulbs not working and broken or wobbly handles on kitchen cupboards. End of stay cleaning not included either. No soaps or basic kitchen pack (eg washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets - extra charge again!)- luckily I’d read about this and brought some. We have stayed in similar style apartments where these items and charges were all included in the rental.
