You'll be centrally located in Hals with a stay at Hals Hotel, you'll be 12 minutes by foot from Hals Golf Club. Featured amenities include luggage storage, coffee/tea in a common area, and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is nice, Hals is a very small town and the centre is only a short walk away. Rooms are quite nice, with a balcony. Many TV channels in scandinavian and german language. Free parking outside hotel is very convenient.
Cons: We like our sleep quality when travelling... This hotel have a check out time at 10:30, which is unusually early. We asked to have it extended (Had been willing to pay extra for it) when we met the manager at breakfast, but she refused. When we were trying to get some more sleep before check out (we didnt sleep to well during the night, it was warm in Denmark and the room have no ac) - The Maid suddenly OPENS the door - without knocking. That is NOT ok! This is the reasons for giving the Staff the Lowest Score - refusal to extend check out and entering the room without knocking when we tried to sleep. Breakfast: Quite few choices, and it was a bit disturbing to see meats and milk products standing on serving tables without any cooling, especially when it is 25-30 degrees outside and the hotel has no AC.. Coffee was quite bad. It is a mini golf just outside the rooms, and be aware that small kids make a lot of noise there.. Bathroom has very little shelf place and the shower have no shelf at all. Noisy fan in bathroom will keep running 10-15 minutes after you turn off lights.
Pros: staff clean breakfast
Pros: Nice roomy room and bathroom.
Pros: Very good breakfast, lot's of choice.. and fresh! Super friendly host, she does everything to make your stay a success.
Cons: Hot in the room, but it was exceptionally warm in Denmark, so it wasn't really an issue.
Pros: Nice Bed and Breakfast, friendly landlady, garden, private Minigolf.
Cons: The mainstreet 541 is extremely noisy and highly frequented (ferry) even at nights, so that sleeping can be difficult. Average breakfast. Expensive in European comparison.
Pros: Pleasant room, bathroom, balcony and indoor sitting area. Very friendly owner. Fantastic breakfast.
Pros: There is a lot to like about this hotel. Very sympathic owner, clever way to clean up you room during your breakfast, good breakfast (they are probably experst with soft eggs :) , some products which seem to be self made or better quality), nice balcony, free parking, well working wi-fi.
Cons: Personally I would correct the check in procedure. I came with flat battery of my phone through using it as GPS and upon arrival I read that I needed to call the owner to get the entry code... with 2% of battery it was a bit risky :-D But I made it. I would be happy to see as an option to drink during breakfast... water. Just water :) These are so minor flaws that I will certainly come again visiting Hals again and can recommend this place to others as a very nice hotel with good experiences. Thank you!
Pros: we liked the location, as we had a family party in Hals and hotel was not far from the venue. The rooms were really nice and bright and it seemed quiet
Pros: Polite and warm hostess, very clean and comfortable place to stay.
Cons: My debit creditcard got rejected although it works everywhere else (paid cash after multiple tries with the creditcard machine).

Pros: We enjoyed the quiet simplicity of the hotel. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and ample in a romantic room. The kirke and the grounds are a delight to wander.
Cons: Check-in and check-out hours are specific so be sure to know them if you are leaving early or arriving late.
Pros: Old beautiful historical house.
Cons: Shower room was very narrow. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
Pros: Excellent breakfast in lovely dining room. Immensely helpful staff, particularly the delightful young man who helped us book ferry journeys and cooked a wonderful dinner.Delightful location
Pros: The check-in and check-out were fast and easy, the staff was nice and friendly, the breakfast was tasty and it was in a wonderful nature, only 10 minutes of driving to the sea side.
Cons: The equipment of the room was quite old, for example the shower hose was broken so the stream of the shower was poor and the water was changing temperature. Further, there was an emotional legend in the bathroom about environmental protection and how guests should keep towels hanging in order they are not changed every day and put them on the floor when they want to get new ones, however, even when we did not put the towels on the floor, we have got new towels every day. Finally, we asked the staff two days before leaving to change some data on the invoice and despite the fact they promised us to do it, we obtained the invoice without the changes at the check-out. So there are some small details which can be improved.

Pros: Basic youth hostel. Everything as expected.
Cons: I didnt find any information about price of bed linen. It was 10 euros per person. So- when I added 20 euros ( 2 persons) to price it was 20 euros more. Too much for such hostel.
Cons: Only negative I have regarding this hostel experience was that the shower was only lukewarm the first time I used it although the second time it was warm enough.
Pros: Very kind people at the office Clean and calme place Easy to go to other cities by bus
Pros: The staff was very helpfull.
Cons: Too expensive, especially if you pay the bedclother in addition.
Pros: This place is like a youth hostel for young generation under 20 years old. The place near this hostel is quite calm and 5-10 min distance to the harbour by car. The family can joy some games together without payment.
Cons: The price is a bit expensive than the quality. The bed was also a bit small and too soft to sleep for adults.
Pros: The area is amazing and you get free parking.
Cons: The room was very dusty and there were some dead bees on the floor. It's seemed no one checked the room for long time. You should pay for everything. Towels and bed sheets. You can't control the water of the bath. Sometimes is so hot.
Pros: Parking and wi fi
Cons: Bed is not comfortable.
Pros: The staff is very kind, the accomodation is comfortable and amazing
Cons: Maybe just to change some bed to sleep!
Pros: The building itself is huge. I stayed during the low season and even had a whole dorm to myself! So it was easy to have peace and quiet. Excellent wifi.
Cons: Bear in mind that this is a leisure centre so you will likely find groups of adults or teenagers there. There is also only one small kitchen for everyone to use. This is fine when all the groups are catered for. Also there are not many showers and the ones that are there do not have a curtain.

Pros: The restaurant is well worth a try especially the steak. Could not swim in the sea due to jellyfish great to have the pool. Great stay! We will be back!
Cons: I missed a safe
Pros: Room & beautiful dining room
Cons: Empty dining room - yet the host attempted to seat me right next to the only couple dining / when I discreetly asked to sit apart from the couple to give them a little privacy - the waitress/ hostess didn’t like my suggestion but relented and gave me a table on the other side of the Restaurant which was empty. The set meal was not to my taste / but had no choice- Breakfast was lovely and the staff were lovely and friendly x On check out. - I was held up for 15 to 20 minutes while the receptionist was on the telephone obviously a important call but Making me late for my appointment.......
