Good food for dinner, position and setting are breathtaking, bathroom fixtures and toiletries classy and classical breakfast minimal, close to non-existent, reception opens at 9.00 in the morning!! So if you check out early, remember to tell them the evening before. Wi-fi does not work in the rooms.
Wonderful views of the nature of Crete Senesi in Toscana. Many romantic places and towns in neighbourhood. And beautiful sunset over the hills after swimming pool. Clear and good equipped appartment. Very nice and helpfull staff! This 'casa vacanze' was worth to tell that is the most convenient place to spend romantic time.
Staff very nice, polite, and helpful. Excellent Italian Coffee. Provided a cot for our young baby. None
This place is picture perfect with staff that are absolutely outstanding in how they relate with the guest. Not a thing, all trips willbe downhill after this one.
Wonderful customer service and accommodation.
This was my first trip to Europe and my best friend and I spent two weeks visiting Paris, Germany, Venice, Tuscany and Rome. Salvatore’s castle in Tuscany was by far our favorite part of the trip. Our biggest regret was that we only scheduled two days and two nights there - we actually tried to cancel our reservations in Rome so we could stay with Salvatore longer, but were unsuccessful.
A big, cheerful welcom and a helpful hand witr parking the car and luggage. It was a bit hard to find the entrance and we almost ended up in the pool! with the car.!!
What I like? Everything! Perfect hotel, hospitable atmosphere, the essence of Tuscany. Hotel managed directly by owner. No artificial, professional courtessy - only real personal involvement. Something like visiting friends that own the 5* castle ;-) No washing service. As the hotel is more for long stay, the self service washing mashine could solve the problem.
The owner makes your trip very personalized. He takes the time to give detailed directions and suggestions for your day trips through Tuscany. Everyone that we met who was staying there had a great time.
Tenant friendly, charming setting, small village with friendly people. Nice rooms overlooking the square. Good food at the restaurant.
the staff has been very kind, the location is wonderful: a tiny old village in the middle of val d'orcia. no complaints.
The bed was comfortable and the staff were nice and helpful. The location was good, away from the other busy towns (in a small, quiet town). The breakfast could use a better selection, breakfast should include (but did not) some bread, fruit and cheese.
it is a wonderful location, very nice staff, personal informal atmosphere and is situated in a romantic village on top of a hill in the heart of Tuscany. the size of the bathroom/shower
Charming small hotel in hilltop village. The only bar and restaurant there so great atmosphere with the locals coming in. Paola who ran it was great, made us very welcome and could speak enough English to make up for our poor Italian. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. If you want to sample traditional Italian hospitality in an out of the way beautiful setting then this is for you.
A good experience. An special atmosphere A little bit far from important cities and nothing to do at the village.
A small hotel in a small village in the middle of great nature. Staff is very friendly and room was very clean. The intergrated restaurant offers very good italian food to reasonable prices . Many of the restaurant guests are locals. This is a sign for the quality. nothing
very pleasant Tuscan hill town unspoilt location in a typical, old, building of character, comfortable room, good staff and breakfast, return visit. No lift no aircon
