Fantastic experience! For the rate of 75.00 a night, it was perfect. Husband and 7 year old son were on a small Getaway from CT. Pool was clean, room as well. Staff very friendly. No issues at all, would stay there again!
The price for the room was excellent . The staff was friendly and informative. The location right off of 91 was very conveminet. No lobby to watch television while the family is sleeping and no breakfast .

Comfortable beds and pillows, relatively quiet in room. When a room change was requested, it was provided quickly and the new room was in great shape. First room we were given (#141) smelled very strongly of dogs. The A/C was running constantly and we were chilly, so we turned that off and the smell worsened significantly. Requested and were given a new room. Also, fan in bathroom and variable fan control in room would be really nice.
Nice room. Sweet management. We got jostled around with flight reservations and they were understanding and accommodating. Nothing, really. It was a little pricey. But nice.
Convenient to Deerfield, MA, and surrounding attractions; spacious rooms; great breakfast. No complaints!
The Grab and Go bags were great! They were excellent treats for our road trip and hikes into the countryside.
The king sized bed was unbelievably comfortable, we slept so well! There weren't any bath robes
Location The room was disgusting. I was afraid to take my shoes off. It was dark, dingy, and had a strange odor; the room had only one tiny window. My boyfriend and I ended up being the only guests at the motel, with the exception of the belligerent drunk we met while checking in who has apparently been living there for 3 months. There's not much surrounding the motel, so once the sun went down, it just felt kind of creepy with no one there and the drunk weirdo staying 2 rooms down from us.
We were harassed by the proprietor who wanted to know if we were going to be sharing a bed. How is this a relevant question to ask someone using your hotel. Also the door to the room was unlocked when we got to it, and it would not lock for us. We had to get said proprietor to show him it would not lock, because he didn't believe us. Additionally, the chain lock on the inside of the door was long enough that even with it in place, I was able, from the outside, to unhook the chain and open the door. When we asked for a different room, he gave us a different key, so that we could actually lock the door. Why were we not given a working key to begin with!? Because this hotel is a roadside inn, where there is no barrier between you and the highway just outside, except for the door to your room, it was a very unsettling experience.

Helpful inn keeper, bed comfortable, thoughtful selection of pillow, clean towels and bedding Although the place is run down, it is as clean as an old place can be. It is dingy and you might want to leave your shoes on, but it was a comfortable place to sleep.

The young man on the afternoon/evening shift went well out of his way to get my husband enough coffee kits. He was professional, kindly, diligent, and considered it absolutely part of his job. Which I think is appropriate, but he was just so decent about it. It's right by the freeway but we had little road noise. A good grocery, gas station, and some convenient shops are right across the street. "Real" food and fast food are within a block. Beautiful views are right down the road. The manager was surly and gave the impression that giving us her attention was a favor. I didn't care for that. She wasn't intentionally unpleasant, she just seemed to be a distant person who was never really trained for customer service in the hotel industry. The phone didn't work and this message got lost from one day to the next, so it never worked during our stay. As a result, the cleaning staff couldn't reach us by phone, so we never got towel/trash service, let alone a working phone. (The day people really didn't seem to have it together.) More on the cleaning ... the carpet was kinda sticky all over. I've been on worse floors, but at this price point, I expect the carpet to be completely non-sticky. Sticky carpet is creepy and revolting. The door of the cupboard holding the mini-fridge creaked horribly and was stiff. I avoided using it because of my carpal tunnel issues, and my husband avoided it because of his sound sensitivity. So much for using the fridge! All it needed was some graphite or silicon lubricant, or better yet, 5 minutes with a screwdriver and 5 more with a wood-planer.
The staff were so helpful. The motel room was clean, bed unbelievably comfortable...Owner deserves great success. The motel is getting a makeover and Jim is doing an AMAZING job. He is genuinely interested in making your stay memorable. The views are inspirational....A little bit of Heaven. An added bonus is its majestic sunrises....You know how the saying goes, "It's great to be home?" It's not!!! Wish we were still there...Can't wait to go back again and again.....
Needed a place to stay to for a night with a white water rafting trip, the place wasn't clean and they double charged me which took me two weeks to recoup. Unhelpful and unclean. There corporate office is even worse, no one could help with a double charge.
