Pros: the owners excellent understanding of our needs in what is a difficult time
Cons: there was nothing we didn't like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great self-catering option. Accommodation is chalets in a long back garden so no traffic noise. Prior to arrival the owner sent through detailed instructions on locating and accessing the accommodation. The chalet we stayed in had a kitchen/living area with a double bed at one end, a separate double bedroom and separate bathroom. Excellent shower in bathroom, even has in-built radio! Parking is off-street behind a secure gate though area is quite anyway. Tea bags and coffee & milk sachets provided. Can't comment on cooking equipment as we ate out, seemed well stocked though. The Anchor pub is an excellent option if eating out and only a five minute walk away.

Pros: Well presented, clean, great amenities, wanted for nothing, there was clearly a lot of thought out into what the customer would want, the food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, free parking, free WiFi, bus stop just down the road with a bus straight into the city centre, there was nothing to fault with our stay. We know where we will be staying from now on when we return to Cambridge.
Cons: There was nothing to fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were met at the front door by Al, the owner who welcomed us in and explained everything we needed to know about the property and also gave us a map of Cambridge with bus routes and time tables included. Our room was just right for what we needed. Comfortable bed, plenty of tea, coffee, water etc. We had a spacious shower room with complimentary toiletries which was great as I'd forgotten to pack mine! Breakfast options were varied and freshly prepared to order by Al. It was delicious. A unique thing about this b&b is that the owner also provides a fully equipped kitchen with a comfy sofa, tv and all the necessary bits and bob's to cook and eat a meal, so if you don't fancy going out, you don't have to sit in your bedroom. It's a brilliant asset and one we made use off. We will definitely stay at Autumn House again.
Cons: The house is situated on a busy road so there is quite a lot of traffic noise, but the upside of the road is the regular bus service!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Not good value, too expensive, (London prices), waited 30 minutes for my breakfast order to arrive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Bedford Lodge was a lovely place to stay, the bed and room were comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The hotel has lovely grounds and nice fitness facilities. While there, I took advantage of the pool (unfortunately, the hot tub and sauna were undergoing renovation, but should be completed soon). I usually live out of my suitcase when I travel, but the room was clean enough that I felt comfortable placing clothes in the drawers, where, unfortunately, I left some of them. When I discovered this and called the hotel, they very promptly packed the left items and sent them off to me at my follow-on hotel, keeping me informed of the progress. It is easy to get to Cambridge from there and, if in the area, I would be happy to stay there again.

We had no trouble walking to Cambridge central along the magnificent waterways. We rated the guest house as a high 9.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality! Lovely people. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Great location - able to park on the street and only 20min walk to the city center. The room was cosy, clean, very pleasant. Definitely going to stay there if visiting Cambridge again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The common room was friendly, the food amazing, the rooms where clean and comfortable, towels changed daily, and beds turned down daily. The greatest proof of the friendly staff came from a couple who where going to the same wedding as us. Their plane was delayed, and so they got in in the middle of the night. Instead of making this a negative thing, they owner/manager was concerned that they shouldnt have to get up early for breakfast (served til 9 on the weekends) and asked them if they wanted some sandwiches made for them to pick up when they woke up. This customer service seemed to run lik the lifeblood of this B&B. Great value and great service.
Cons: The only thing that would have made the stay better, would have been if the bed was 10 cm broader. But I'm a big guy, so I cant fault them for that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The comfiest bed, great facilities, fabulous breakfast and delightful host.
Cons: I liked everything.
9.6 Excellent

No bed side table for clock, mobile etc. Radiator on during the day but not at night and so very cold in the attic room. There was a kitchette/sitting room on the first floor for our use but not a good standard. No handles on the fridge or freezer. Fridge door disconnected from the front panel. Toilet seat on second floor not connected. sofa too big and made watching TV difficult as it faced in the opposite direction Had to carry own suitcase up and down from the attic via very difficult stairs. Pros: The place was neat & Claire has been a great host and very helpful. The hotel is very close to the train station. I would stay at the hotel next time in Cambridge with my family.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was well located, a 20 min walk from city centre. The room was clean and spacious. Coffee and a bite for breakfast were a nice and welcoming touch. Claire was very responsive to messages with questions about the room.
Cons: Stairs were narrow, so carrying luggage was a challenge. Room could use a wardrobe (although hangers were provided).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was absolutely wonderful space to stay. Claire was very easy to get in contact with and organise early luggage drop. The entire place was spotlessly clean and lovely and quiet allowing for a really good nights sleep. It's a perfect distance from the station and a very easy walk into Cambridge centre. I would stay again!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was in an excellent location, very close to the station and within walking distance to the rest of Cambridge. My room was clean, comfortable and perfect for a solo traveller. I enjoyed the breakfast snack tray! A welcome surprise. Claire was an excellent host, sending me lots of detailed information on the property about how to get in, and answering my questions regarding USB power points in the room (they have them).
Cons: My only issue, and this isn’t with the property itself, is that if you’re a light sleeper, maybe request a room on a higher floor? On my second night, someone checked into the room above me and it sounded like an army of small elephants were hosting a tap dance party!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location Cleanliness and comfort
Cons: I found it a little impersonal, but I had expected that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was an absolute dream. It was modern, with an amazing design and an amazing built-in bathroom. Everything was beyond clean and the complimentary breakfast was fabulous.
Cons: nothing comes to my mind
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice little house with good rooms. Super near to the train station, shops and bus stations. Comfortable beds and easy door lock system.
Cons: Room quite small, but cosy. The heating in the bathroom could not be switched off, thus it was quite warm all the time. Breakfast is good but some bread/cereals would have been better than a snack bar. No space to lock bicycles (40m away).

Pros: the staff was okay and it was seemingly okay
Cons: tiniest bathroom ever
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very warm greeting on arrival, car parked right outside. Room clean and modern and comfortable. A homely feel. Good facilities, comfortable bed, nice and warm with the heating on.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The twin-bedded room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Soundproofing poor - I was woken up by activity in another room. Breakfast was extra, and hot food was not on offer. I didn't have it
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the guesthouse is great - nice quiet neighborhood opposite a park. Also it suited us as we were visiting family who live nearby.
Cons: My wife and I have stayed here a few times previously and were quite happy with the facilities. However on this visit we were allocated a much smaller bedroom (Room 3) which was really only suitable for a single person. The room was generally OK - just too small for 2 people. Also the bed was positioned right against a radiator which was thankfully not on
5.4 Okay
Pros: Very clean and nice bedding and decor.
Cons: We thought we had booked breakfast but booking.com had also given us options without breakfast. My mattress was very uncomfortable with lots of broken springs all the way down the centre of the mattress. I didn't see any staff and you were left entirely to yourself. It seemed you could ring their front door bell if you needed something but not a very welcoming service.

2.9 Mediocre
Cons: they heavily advertise the roof terrace but then hire it out to Goldman Sachs and ban guests from using it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the bed, bath, and room were amazing, really friendly and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant was brilliant and the food excellent. Friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Excellent in-house roof-top restaurant/bar, with great views of Cambridge. Outstanding staff...very helpful and personable. I will definitely be back.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was comfy.
Cons: Way over priced for what you get. You couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom, it was so small. Close the curtains and everything on the table went flying across the table. Cost included breakfast. You find out later that it's a continental breakfast, ie cereal, bread or boiled eggs. For the price you pay for your stay you should be able to have anything you wanted off the "a la carte" menu! Our table in the restaurant was by the entrance near the bar. It was effectively in the corridor / waiting area. We were surrounded by people waiting for their reserved table. It was an exceptionally unpleasant experience.
7.0 Good
Pros: BREAKFAST WAS GOOD.LOCATION LIKEWISE,ESPECIALLY SINCE IT WAS IN THE AREA OF CAMBRIDGE WHERE THE EVENT I WAS ATTENDING TOOK PLACE.
Cons: THE CONTROL PANEL FOR THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS LOCATED IN A CORNER OF THE ROOM WHERE THE LACK OF LIGHT,NATURAL OR ARTIFICIAL ,MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff are friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is very efficient

9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is a very comfortable B&B. Very clean and quiet.
Cons: The shower was rather tricky in getting a comfortable temp of water. It was a surprise to learn that they did not accept credit cards after it was advertised on the website that they did.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Convenient to Cambridge City Centre. Breakfast was delightful. Owners are lovely people.
Cons: Room on bottom floor was a bit warm (we went in mid-May), and there was no fan. There were windows that we opened, however, which cooled the room down at night. Operating the shower was a bit confusing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Parking facility
Cons: The shower pressure is very low
