Pros: Real caracter hotel, old woorden house. Nice people, good food. Very nice location, Super breakfast. Very nice rooms with balcony haring a view.
Pros: Great location. Very complete breakfast. Excellent WIFI also in the rooms. Good showers. We appreciated how the early 20th century look and decoration is preserved well in the dining rooms (rest of ...
Cons: Probably this is how Norwegians function - but with a little bit less formal and less distant behaviour of the staff we would heve bought more services of the hotel like diner or renting a small boat...
Pros: The staff, the style and the surrounding environment.
Cons: More than 1 hour from Bergen
Pros: The place is very quite and beautiful. Quiet neighborhood and nice price for who is visiting Bergen and is by car. The building is very beautiful as well. The staff had good attitude to solve the ...
Cons: - I had a problem with my reservation and I did not have a very good experience, but the staff (included manager) recognized their mystake and had the attitude I expected for a problem like this, so ...
Pros: + Old building with character + Family run- give credit for that + super-friendly staff, always smiling + free coffee at reception
Cons: - stayed in super-tiny Budget room, didn't know where to place a bag - no TV - no fridge - no comfort - wifi not permanently working - tiny bathroom -> be Aware when booking the Budget ...
Pros: We are tavel with 2 Kids.People from the reception is very very friendly and warm Heart ! The breakfast also very good! we all like there and it is absolutely recommendable to stay there!
Cons: Room is a Little bit small.
Pros: Not sure what to say here. My truck breaks broke and the situation where that it was to many arrangements in Bergen so this was the only hotell that opened in lack of rooms. And I think this is a summer period hotell, as it was cold outside and it took some hours from arrival to the room got warm.
Cons: Because it was the closest hotell from Bergen that was availeble I had not many options of where to sleep. But what I missed there was tv on the room and internet that i see now is standard in normal hotells and to the price of NOK 1290,- for a single room one night the price was little high.
Pros: The room was big with balcony and nice view. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: We stayed in the hotel for two days. On the second day they did not clean the room, the same towels and the bin full of garbage as was when we leave the room in the morning. There was nobody from the hotel staff on the second day when we returned to the hotel in the evening.
Pros: Staff (saw only one person the entire stay) tried her best, but if the product you're selling ain't nice, there's only so much you can do... :-( Bed linnen was fresh. Breakfast in the main building is okay, although no hot breakfast options. The fresh bread was extremely nice. So far the good news.
Cons: This place did not meet our expectations at all. The standard double room we booked is nothing like the pictures. The pictures refer to the 'historic rooms' apparently. We stayed in a wooden white washed 'shed' next to the main building. Outside everything looked scruffy (no maintenance), inside it felt like an eerie backpackers room in a boatshed with linoleum on the floor, a dirty couch, an old grandma-bed (with fresh bed linnen though, I'll give them that), but also a dirty handkerchief (!) on the top of the closet. No TV. Bathroom was very simple. Can't believe they use this 2-star (at the most) hotel for honeymooners as well. We were v. glad to leave this place the next day. This 'hotel' is no value for your good money.
Enjoy your visit to Osteroy with a stay at Fjordslottet Hotell. You can relax with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. There's also a garden, and rooms at this Victorian hotel offer balconies and sofa beds.
Pros: The fjord-lake view is fantastic. The staff although didn't speak good English managed To please all our requests
Pros: Views were amazing, even in the carpark. Food was brilliant, absolutely perfect. Staff were friendly and English speaking was both helpful and at a brilliant level.
Cons: Room was old fashioned. Patio door was nice to get on to shared balcony for view, but did not feel so secure to leave open in warm temperatures all night while sleeping due to shared balcony and ...
Pros: Nice staff. I had a balcony with a great view. WiFi working good. Breakfast decent, but nothing special.
Pros: Beautiful view and good wifi and a great service.
Pros: The restaurant is very good and a great view
Cons: Too expensive for the quality of rooms
Pros: Location Nice lounge areas for relaxation and coffee breaks
Independently run, Westland Hotel is ideally suited to both the business and leisure traveller. The hotel affords an atmosphere of relaxed informality that, combined with a genuinely caring service, immediately makes you feel at home. Westland Hotel is ideally located for daily trips to the fjords, the mountains and the coastal waters with numerous islands and sheltered coves, romantic coastal roads and bridges and the city of Bergen.
Cons: No breakfast availability. Our view was a rock face 30cm from the window. Extremely overpriced - My valuation would have levelled the cost at 600 NOK, not the 1200 NOK we paid.
Pros: Nothing except it did have a fridge
Cons: Everything about the place was horrible. Advertising picture was of a cafe two streets away! Visitors be aware.
Pros: Friendly staff. The island of Osteroy is beautiful.
Cons: It is only recommended to stay here if you have a car. Too far from Bergen without a car.
Pros: Bathroom had a jacuzzi. Free water and snack provided.
Cons: location, although near enough to city centre, is not particularly pretty. But rooms are comfortable and clean.
