Pros: Loved this place from the moment we walked in! Wish we could have stayed longer. Owners friendly, engaging and very hospitable. The room was the best we have stayed in during our touring holiday and we especially enjoyed the breakfast. The area is beautiful. We had a lovely walk across the nearby viaduct for dinner at a restaurant. Honestly couldn't fault a thing, and we look forward to returning for longer next year.

Pros: The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was beautiful, definitely the nicest hotel/B&B we have stayed in. Our room was very spacious and very nicely decorated. There was a terrace in beautiful gardens to sit in and a swimming pool we could have used. They advised us on where to dine and rang to say we were on our way. Breakfast was also very good with my gluten free needs catered for. Definitely worth a stay. Such good value for money.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Our room was beautiful - roomy, clean and tastefully decorated The pool was exactly what you would want on a hot summer day, to compliment the very warm and hospitable welcome from Teresa and Andrew. Our evening meal, prepared by Teresa with able assistance from the Glamourous Andrew, was honestly magnificent. Breakfast was also great with a selection of cereals, breads, yoghurts croissants, pain au chocolate and fruit - with orange juice and our choice of Chocolate over tea and coffee.

Pros: Teresa & Andy are the perfect hosts. We had an evening meal which was excellent. Our room was very comfortable, and, after a long day’s drive, we had a good night sleep.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most relaxing environment we have found for a long time, which made you just want to stay in, sit back and rest. Beautiful location with fantastic hoasts. This is a top marks location to stay. We very rarely go back to the same place twice as there are so many places to visit, but this is one of those rare places for us. You are well located here for visiting Oradour-Sur-Glan which is a worthy visit albeit very saddening. But then the local village which exhibits rural village life 100 years ago is a good balance. The walks and scenery are everywhere. Try and take longer than a short break here, you will only regret it is over too quickly if not.
Cons: We were not there for long enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this property and the people that run it was just so lovely. The people really made us feel at home and did everything they could to help us. Also they prepared an evening meal for us both which was of a very high standard, as was the breakfast too. We simply loved staying there and would certainly recommend it to anyone who was thinking of staying in this area as a lovely place to stay, with wonderful hosts also.
Cons: Nothing could have been better - only for us to have stayed much longer!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This a great property to stay at. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. The food is really good too. The accommodation is top notch and the grounds are so lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing experience with delightful hosts, who attendees to every need ! We elected for the meal and it was ... incredible ! Would highly recommend this property :)

Pros: It was wonderful. A beautiful room, with lovely shower room. The breakfast was lovely and served at a time preferred by you not the hosts. Could not fault how we were looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved it.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. It is a lovely place to stay and we were very well looked after. The reason we did not give it excellent was due to the garden having decking work undertaken at the time of our visit. Although it didn't spoil our stay it would have been lovely to have been able to sit out on an evening and admire the wonderful view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners were very friendly, warm and helpful. Room was more than spacious and bathroom also large. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the raspberry brûlée. Parking at the front door was a definite plus.

Pros: The owner was very welcoming. The property is charming and our room with the balcony was gorgeous.
6.3 Good
Pros: Owners are lovely, breakfast is good.
Cons: Door of to the room doesn't fit and is wood planks meaning people can actually see into your room! There is a curtain, but that unfortunately still means you hear everything going on in the corridor (and people in the corridor hear whats going on in your room). Got woken up by loud guests around midnight who were arriving because of that... bathroom doesn't have a door either. Wifi does not work (were told to keep trying but gave up after two dozen of tries).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet place, great building, fabulous owners, loved it, and there was a fan in the room....
Cons: I am being picky, but personally ( woman travelling alone over 70) a lift upstairs would have been good, Lisa helped to take my bags up though, which was excellent, a grab handle to aid cocking my leg over the bath side would have been a help, am not disabled, just old!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy and quiet area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rural, rustic and peaceful but near to town. Warmest welcome from Lisa and Tony, making us feel instantly at home. A welcome refuge for tired travellers. Comfortable beds, like sleeping on clouds and stunning, rustic authentic rooms with exposed beams. Amazing to meet the resident animals, Sapphire the European Eagle Owl, the turkeys, ducks, geese, pigs and others.. Peaceful evenings in a little piece of heaven with wildlife and quiet. Would definitely come here again and our stop over place of choice for breaking up the long drives to various destinations in France. 5* rating from us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a perfect stop over for our big party of 11 (3 families) Tony and Lisa were so welcoming, our rooms were very comfortable and the views and peaceful environment were so welcome after a long days driving! Also a real bonus that Lisa cooked us the most amazing 3 course dinner, and also made our packed lunches for the next days travelling for a small price which was so worth it. Tony spent time showing us his European Eagle Owl the morning before we left. Kids loved it as did we learning all about these fascinating birds.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We found this to be a very pleasant small hotel. Typical of the Logis de France association providing a friendly welcome, an excellent dinner, with many locally produced items, a very comfortable room, a good breakfast all in an attractive village setting. The hotel decor and furniture is modern, a little quirky, but full of character. The small bar serves cold beer, essential after a day on our motorbike during the start of a heatwave.. as was the fan in our room..!! Very enjoyable overnight stay, would recommend and return.

Pros: In a rural setting, yet with easy access to through routes. A sympathetically renovated French farmhouse with garden and interesting outbuildings. Breakfast was fresh french breads and conserves with further choices for those that wanted them. Louise suggested places to have an evening meal and we enjoyed our choice. She speaks French, so you can practice and yet is English so you won't be stuck! Overall an excellent place to stay.
Cons: Nothing.
