Excellent place to stay. Very convenient,Great service in restaurant, beautiful view, spacious rooms( like a suite)! Good amenity area with steam, pool, exercise room, etc. very short walk to downtown Aspen. My son lives downtown and I was SO pleased with these accommodations. I will sty here on my next visit. Could not have been more pleasant!
I loved everthing about are stay at Aspen Meadows Resort! We had an amazing view of Aspen, Aspen Highlands and many other mountains and ranges from are room. The stafff was top notch...very friendly and curtious. The house services did a wonderful job with keeping things neet an tidy. Oh, this worth mentioning too... the public transportation system out there is fantastic.
The only thing i didnt like was the size TV it could have been bigger. Also, at checkout time my bill was paid in full i thought until the desk clerk handled my a bill for $120.00 for meadows resort fees, not happy with surprise fees.
We enjoyed our six night stay. We had a one bedroom mountain view suite. It had a great view of the slopes and the room was very comfortable with a large sofa and two lounge chairs and a kitchenette. There was also a nice deck. Our a la carte breakfasts were excellent. A buffet is also offered. The shuttle to town runs every half hour. We had a car but only used it to drive over to Snowmass. Free internet was appreciated as well as the smores next to the lobby fireplace. We look forward to visiting next winter.
Room had an over whelming moldy/musty smell. I had to call three times for mantinance to turn on the boiler /heat. Each time it worked for approximately one hour. After that the tempature continued to drop. The buildings are very old. They have radient floor heating witch unfortunately does not work;the heat never went above 62..it was the end of January. They brought a space heater. Really? for the price of the hotel I should not have to have a space heater. After day two I tried another room. Same thing I checked out and went to a real hotel with heat!
My husband and I just returned from a week stay at Aspen Meadows - we were there during New Years as well as our anniversary. When we arrived, John picked us up at the airport, helped with our luggage and also getting settled in the room. The property is wonderful and the service was beyond expectation. Verne and Seth were so helpful with local reccomendations and also making sure we had everything we needed the entire stay. There was coffee/tea in the morning and smores for the evening. The room was a Jr Suite and was spacious. The kitchenette was a great addition, especially for snacks after Apres Ski. The view was spectacular from the room and we would not have changed a thing. We will definately stay here again on our next trip to Aspen!
I was a little hesitant to book this hotel because it was a little far from downtown. But was surprised when they had a complementary shuttle every 1/2 hour. I was even more surprised when I could just call them at any time after 11p.m. and they would come and pick me up! Except for that last night, the guy could not go and pick me up. The staff was friendly. I got a suite, 2 tv's, living room, kitchennette, and the bedroom all to myself! The architecture of the hotel was unlike the town of aspen, but the rooms were great!
My daughter and I shared a suite on a 1-day trip to Aspen and LOVED this resort! The setting is very serene, arranged like a campus, but the rooms (suites) are smartly planned and furnished in the Bauhaus style. We took advantage of the pool, the hot tub, the fitness center, and the business center. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds because it was so peaceful. They have bikes available for rent and many other offerings we didn't have time to take advantage of. The staff was very helpful and truly treated us like guests. We will definitely visit this unique place again!
At first glance I was not impressed with this resort. It is an older condo style resort that from the outside does not appear to have been kept up. Once inside I was pleasantly surprised to find the bathrooms had been updated and the linens were very nice. The only thing was very limited dishes if you wanted to eat in. We were provided with 2 plates , 1 fork ,1 spoon and 2 wine glasses. The kitchen could use a little fresher upper but all in all nice stay.
We had a great time - stayed in the spring, so it was nice to enjoy all the walking trails and sunny views. Room service was fabulous.
I wasn't sure what I was in for but was pleasently surprised. This hotel is close to downtown Aspen but was quiet and peaceful like it was miles from town. The staff was great, rooms clean and spacious, and was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in many years. Highly recommend it and if I ever go back to Aspen I would insist on staying here.
