Pros: Nice place, an interesting concept. A lot of thought put into the accommodation.
Cons: Bathroom door did not shut. A problem when other guests are also staying there.
Pros: It was really great to spent time with Rita in her old family house. If you want to experience the real portugese countryside, her accomodation is the best choice to choose! Such a calm and peaceful place to be in!

Each room at Quinta da Lapa combines antiques with a modern feel and colourful details, creating a comfortable area. The private bathroom comes with free toiletries. A breakfast buffet is served daily, and Lapa organises wine tasting sessions with cheese and cold meats. There is a wine shop on site. Santarém, famous for its Gothic heritage, is a 30-minute drive away.
Pros: Quinta da Lapa is a gorgeous place to stay for a few days. There is not much around it, but the mansion itself, its history and decor, as well as the tranquility and scenery were worth lots. Isabel who is in charge of everything accommodation-related is extremely helpful and friendly. That also adds plenty to our stay,
Cons: It is truly in the middle of nowhere...
Pros: Isabell met us at the gate and took extremly good care of us. She was fantastic and we stayed even longer than planned. George showed us around on the wineyard and was amazing. Breakfast was really something special. Loved every second of our stay!
Pros: Place is beautiful... but nothing more
Cons: For me, it's not an Hotel. It's a good place to stay one night, but there isn't any equipment like an hotel. You can't stay outside with a good armchair, restaurant is more like a private dining room...
Pros: Exquisite surroundings. Elegant property. Not a touristic area. Lovely meals available if you ask in advance. A great place to be if you just want a bit isolation and to be surrounded by nature. Lovely section of wines available.
Pros: wonderful lady staff excellent cook and very friendly
Cons: pillows too small
Pros: Isabella was our greeter as well as our cook. She had way too much to attend to but was gracious and lovely, going above and beyond to take care of us. Her cooking was superb.
Cons: Staff — Isabella and Carla were the only ones we met — seemed to have too much on their plate. They were unable to provide dinner the second night but recommended a good place. Carla told me it was hard to get help because they were so remote. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and found their recommended restaurant, Taberna de Afaliate, to be one of the best food experiences we had in Portugal.
Pros: the wine!!!! and Isabel was perfect!

Pros: Great room for the price!
Cons: The pillows didn't look so hygienic.
Pros: A good choice for overnight stopover between Porto and Lisbon.

Pros: The Very Welcoming RIBATEJO people, Surreal people go above and Beyond to help you; Then is 30 minutes from the Beach, 1 hour from Lisbon and very close to the most fresh air I ever breath for the last decade or more, Feel energetic There.
Cons: Road condition, tarmac often to polished and my car lost the read twice.

Cons: Breakfast service could improve considerably, for instance, cheese and ham servings were poorly prepared and without any refrigeration. Conservation seemed questionable.
