Pros: Annie was just about the sweetest host in the world.
Pros: Amazing place, amazing everything!!!
Pros: The land lady Annie Pizzinato made us feel home. Her house made breakfast is gorgeous.
Pros: Everything. Stylish architecture, lovely room, extras. Dinner was excellent, enjoyed family style with other guests and our hosts. One of our favorite accommodations of our extrended trip.
Cons: The late (17:00) checkin time meant we had to find a place to spend several hours , since we were walking Le Chemin de St Jacques, and arrived in town around 14:00. We could find no water nor food, and it was fortunate the weather was good. We sat on a bench near the church. This is only a possible problem for pilgrims, of course.
Pros: Warm welcome, comfortable clean room, excellent breakfast, onsite parking.
Pros: The owner was very nice. Breakfast excellent with homemade yogurt, bread and jams. Definitely recommend staying here. Owner speaks more than enough English if you want that. Quiet.
Pros: The guest house consists of two guest rooms with private bathroom and a shared equipped kitchen. The room, bathroom and kitchen are new, cosy, warm (in winter) and clean. The breakfast is very good: juice, coffee and tea, homemade varied pastries, fruit, toasts and several types of jam. It is served downstairs, in another nice kitchen/dining room. The host is lovely and very attentive. The guest house is in a very small town close (15min by car) to Vienne and Saint-Romain-en-Gal. You can park the car in the guest house fenced garden.
Cons: A hairdryer in each room would be great!
Pros: Very modern room with large bathroom and comfortable bed. Delicious home made Breakfast. Will definitely recommend to others.
Pros: Beautiful room, extremely comfortable Bed and very clean. We especially liked how peaceful and quiet the surrounding area is, how warm the room was and the pink toilet paper! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sleep, relaxing time, great breakfast and total comfort.
Pros: Clean room, large bathroom, modern kitchen, fast internet
Cons: Breakfast = nothing extra
Pros: Very welcoming family. Lovely food and breakfast was superb! The rooms/house really warm and cosy. Definitely raccomended!
Pros: The breakfast was superb and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owners were very friendly - as was the husky dog!
Cons: Directions to the property were poor and the address was in a different town so our sat nav didn't pick it up.
Pros: Great staff. Good breakfast

Cons: Nothing .... the place was great! Thank you.
Pros: Sadly I was too tired to go to the restaurant but the staff were super helpful and polite. My French is poor but they spoke excellent English. The location is spectacular, rooms very comfortable ( in a traditional French country style) I will definitely return this time to enjoy dinner in the restaurant . Breakfast was great for me, fresh cheeses and meats and gorgeous bread .... and Nespresso coffee
Cons: No tv channels in English. WiFi in my room was not great
Pros: We stayed here 30 years ago on our honeymoon and wanted to revisit. Romantic estate, with high quality, small hotel amenities. The swan in the trout pond rushed to greet us each time we passed by. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: We could only come on a day when the restaurant was closed. So dined at their secondary property which was close. Dinner was excellent there.
Pros: The location is excellent, .com large, well equipped, great staff, facilities, we are at the cottage bistro once again and it was sensational as always, we absolutely love this hotel, bistro and the chef is wonderful, worth every moment

Located in Saint-Alban-du-Rhône, L'Ecrin de Vert is in a rural location, a 1-minute drive from Pilat Regional Natural Park and 8 minutes from Domaine George Vernay. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Fantastic breakfast with lots of home made produce, including eggs from the poultry in the garden!! At least four different jams and preserves - fig, strawberry etc.. The hosts were so amenable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Madame's English was excellent too!
Cons: Restricted wardrobe space in the room - but for a one night stay not a real problem.
Pros: Great home made breakfast in the garden. Nice welcoming hospitality. The house and room are decorated with good taste up to the small details.
Pros: All aspects of L'Ecrin de vert exceeded expectation. The warmth of the welcome in particular, made our stay memorable.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Pros: The welcome given to us by the lovely couple, Helene and Albin, who run this delightful little bed and breakfast, was wonderful. We arrived quite late (10pm) but were immediately offered a delicious hot meal and wine in their garden. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. They couldn't have been more gracious! When Helene realised that we don't eat carbs, she offered to make us bacon and eggs, which we really appreciated!
Cons: Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!
Pros: The hotel was clean up to date and staff friendly

Pros: Breakfast was good. Dinner excellent.
Cons: Lack of personal hygiene of the Maitre de.
Pros: We particularly enjoyed the view from our window, the kindness and warm welcome of the staff, the food. Although it is located in a village which was basically empty when we arrived (no place where we could have a drink in the area), the hotel was equipped with everything we needed (a bar and a terrace with a gorgeous view, a restaurant with good food and an extraordinary selection of wines).
Cons: I was surprised to see that the hotel charged us with 12 euros for the baby crib we had previously asked for (the email we received from the hotel via booking.com did however mention the extra fee).
Pros: Nice hotel in a great situation, superb welcome, nice food, who can ask more.
Pros: Fantastic service, the food was divine! Exceeded expectations
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
Pros: The possission at the river
Cons: The food was not as good as we hoped
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable and well equipped room Very good value for money
Pros: Lovely location. Small family run hotel. Good food and wine. Helpful staff.
Cons: Did not like the TV on in the small sitting room which was the only area to have a quiet drink. Despite being very warm weather, the outside space was not in use.

Pros: The hotel and staff are very nice. It was very clean and the breakfast was good. The room was great for two adults and two small children. The location is perfect for an overnight stay on our way to the southern of France.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, good and fresh breakfast, spacy room, parking right outside the door
Cons: No restaurant in the facilities, but that was perhaps not even a drawback... because of the excellent restaurant I found in the nearby...
Pros: This was a perfect place to stay on our way to the south of France. There is free private parking on site, and the hotel is away from the centre of town. The owner was very helpful, and recommended places to eat.
Pros: The location is convenient for travelers on the Autoroute
Cons: A hotel from the days when the main north - south artery was the N7. It needs a freshen. It’s a pity there was no evening meal on offer. Finding one elsewhere on a Sunday evening was not easy.
Pros: The room which was spacious and the staff who was very helpful.
Cons: No elevator, even if it’s just one floor
Pros: Very efficient friendly staff. In a great place and very clean.
Located in Roussillon-en-Isere, Le Logis Dauphinois is within a 15-minute drive of Château d'Anjou and Domaine George Vernay. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly reception. Smart, modern room. Secure parking. Excellent value for money. No restaurant, but the one they recommended (Don Rocco) was very good
Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but I thought the town itself pretty unattractive
Pros: Secure Parking on site, Room was very clean, Bar on site and also self service continental breakfast in he morning
Cons: all I can say is we enjoyed our stop, it was only for one night but friendly and close to motorway either if you was going North or South will call in again on our way back to Spain

Was out of season so restaurant not open, but was directed to burger bar just down the street. Also pizza bar 2 minutes walk. Hotel spotless, bathroom and bedroom immaculate. A little gem of a hotel to get your head down if travelling south.
Cons: Satnav didn't take us direct using the zipcode provided, but just used 'directions ' from their website, took us directly outside, so no problem.
Cons: No lift for disabled,no coffee making facility no wifi
Pros: Excellent value was for money. Good facilities in the room. Very pleased and would recommend.
Pros: Locaties - close to highway but far enough to prevent the noise of the high way to disturb at night

Pros: The lady on reception was lovely.
Cons: It's drab red curtains and overall decor for such a lovely area. The whole place looked shabby. The menus for evening meal was poor and the meal (we had the steak meal) was tough with soggy chips. The desert was of poor quality. For the price there are other places that far outshine this one.
Pros: Staff friendliness - comfortable bed and room - managers promptness to deal with any issues (air conditioning wouldn’t work in our room - we were transferred immediately to another room) - food was great - choice for breakfast - welcome and departure - use of lovely outdoor swimming pool.
Cons: Would be good to have the option of making a hot drink in the bedroom.
Pros: the room service Lady was nice , and she gave us more towels when we ask
Cons: they dont talk English .. poor breakfast and everything closed at 10 . after 10 you cant drink water
Cons: Rude manageress who berated her own staff in front of guests. Left us sitting for over half an hour in restaurant without service whilst waiting staff gave attention to French guests first - even those arriving after us. After a 300 mile drive in 30 degree heat we needed a beer- 8 euros a glass - what a ripoff! Pool and bar areas in direct sunlight with limited sun beds and no parasols in either area. Bedrooms badly in need of a makeover - dark, dingy and smelly. Needless to say we won’t be going back.
Pros: Lots of space to manoeuvre the wheelchair and hoist. Fresh refurbishment. Parking for wheelchair van very close. Warm room. Entrance hallway.
Cons: Difficult wheelchair access to the room from parking. Pointless I’ll-fitting curtains. Discoloration of bedspreads.
Pros: To be honest, nothing.
Cons: Outdated, prison-like rooms, sterile, terrible restaurant, messy and dirty outside. No hot water in the morning. Restaurant, if you can call it that, was open for one hour. Awful.
