I received a very good welcome on arrival. Staff were attentive and courteous. Rooms and setting very pleasant. Breakfast excellent
The whole experience from booking to saying goodbye couldn't have been better. The staff were all so friendly and accomadating,oh and the food....wow! Only that we had to leave!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room spotlessly clean and the food - well absolutely delicious. We had a very relaxing break. No
The friendliness, the food, the room were all excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and intend going back. Definitely no complaints
comfort, cleanliness and personal service. Excelent home cooked breakfast with local produce
the food was very good.the service was excellent .Would stay there again.
Restaurant and room very comfortable. Bathroom good size. Owner and staff very friendly. Food delicious. Restaurant and room spotlessly clean. Tea & coffee facilities more than adequate.
The warm welcome from the owner. The spacious and comfortable bedroom with wi-fi if required. Extras like a cafetiere and bottled water. The delicious breakfast cooked by the owner/chef. Maybe a personal preference but the bathroom had a corner jacuzzi bath and I would have preferred a large walk-in shower.
Overall impression, very clean, good order. Staff very friendly & helpful despite family health concerns.Food very good. Requested a twin room. Told on arrival this was not available. Double bed offered was a little small for Grandmother & Granddaughter.
The staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast was cooked lovely and the pub itself was very nice. The room was extremely basic and plain looking without even a little table to put the tea making facilities on, they were on the floor. and some childrens old shoes in the wardrobe !! All the doors into our room, the corridor and toilet creaked badly - needed greasing.
It was clean Sunday am breakfast served too early 7-8am
Central to town, good full english breakfast, comfortable and value for money. Unsuitable for elderly or disabled, no lift and stairs are steep. A bit noisy at night because over a public house. In market square, so be aware stalls are set up in the morning outside the hotel as early as 6am.
very nice full english and helpful staff the toilet not being ensuite was a bit of a minus for the hotel but it is shared between 2/3 rooms only.. and the car park was hard to find in the one- way system !!
our en-suite room was huge with fantastic windows and with a great view of the market area. the bathroom could do with a wee bit of titivating e.g.no towel rail, bath was o.k. but there was more than enough room for a shower which would have been handy.
very small shower with poor water pressure
lovely sheets comfy beds; pleasant patient accommodating staff good English breakfast; let us in at 12 non on request thank you guest information in the room about breakfast time how to get in late at night etc would have been helpful ; a bedside lamp for each bed would have been helpful there was only one for one bed
the room was clean warm and spacious. food was good as was the menu. did not stay long enough.
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcolm. The standard of service and value for money was excellent and we would certainly visit again. Nothing
Good restaurant. Nice bathroom (recently refurbished) Cleanliness and dcor condition of room very poor. Far too hot, couldn't turn down radiator.
The staff were friendly and helpful The room smelled damp and the bathroom could have done with being refurbished.
Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast. The rooms were bland and lacked character. The prices were also a bit high.
Breakfast and room both very good Lunch menu was not available on request
Great breakfasts! Some of the other guests on the first night were badly behaved, but this is no reflection on the accomadation
Was very happy with the accomodation and the breakfast was really nice.staff were very friendly and helpful. Room 11 at the george and the dragon, long melford had the word 'murder' etched into the back of the door and the right had sash window would not close.....may be something you would like to address.
