Pros: Wonderful welcoming hosts. We were even upgraded to a most spacious upstairs area with views. Trevor provided kayaks for rowing about on the pond, and even took our pictures. The welcome treats were a nice touch, and the breakfast was so generous, including homemade food items. It was enjoyable to visit with Trevor and Gail, and we learned a lot about the area and the indigenous birds. What a special countryside setting - most memorable.
Cons: The bathroom area was a little small, and a compact refrigerator in the room would have been nice.

Pros: What did we like - our wonderful welcoming hosts, the lovely setting (garden, pond and surrounding countryside). Also - our comfortable and spacious room, the great breakfast, the quiet, and our hosts again.
Pros: The host's are the most kindest you will find and provided us with evening meal and friends. We were upgraded to a larger room that was so perfect. The area is so quiet and the views and gardens just lovely.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: Thank you so much to Trevor and Gail. Although we arrived a bit late, they accommodate us quite well. the breakfast was awesome. would recommend to everyone to drop by if you have the opportunity

Located in Rapahoe, Beachview Motel offers free WiFi. It features BBQ facilities and free on-site parking. All rooms offer a flat-screen TV and a dining table. Beachview Motel is a 10-minute scenic drive from Greymouth. It is a 20-minute drive up the coastal highway to both Punakaiki Blowholes and Pancake Rocks. All rooms feature a kitchenette with a stovetop, a microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathroom includes a shower and free toiletries.
Pros: Comfortably appointed; adequate utensils; free wifi, very quiet; didn't ask about breakfast; great view
Cons: It was further out of town than indicated/expected; TV didn't work; only 1 face cloth; definitely needed a car

Pros: Really atmospheric old style country hotel and we liked it a lot. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, spacious and warm. Had a good night sleep. Free breakfast was good. Cerials, myesli, toast, coffee, tea etc. They run a pub and restaurant and we had a couple tasty New Zealand beers there. Recommended.

Pros: Great stop over on our way to Nelson, host so friendly and nice and made us feel at home. Cosy hotel with the fire going. Huge meals. Great value. Would definately come back again.

Pros: From the moment u walk thru the door u felt welcomed not only by the hosts but the locals too was fantastic.

Located in Punakaiki, Hide and Seek is by the ocean, a 4-minute drive from Paparoa National Park and 7 minutes from Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We Absolutely loved our stay here!! The entire home is lovely; and we especially enjoyed the incredible view of the Tasman Sea from our private room and balcony. Our room was beautifully and tastefully done with great attention to detail. Our breakfast was absolutely delicious and and very generous. We simply cannot say enough about This B & B other than we highly recommend the Hide and Seek to all - you will not be disappointed!!
