The second we walked in to the Inn, we felt relaxed. To top that first impression off, we were offered wine to help us settle in. We loved the atmosphere, style, luxery, and cleanliness of the Inn will be back ASAP!
Rooms nicely appointed with high thread count sheets with excellent comfortable beds. The wine hour had excellent presentation with local wines all varieties Pinot, cab, chard etc, with cheeses. Staff was not as friendly as reviews, breakfast was terrible, fruit was what appeared to be several days old. I ordered a spinach quiche ( they take orders night before ) and we were the first seating and we were told they ran out over the week end and did not prepare anymore ??? So I knew then that the food was OLD!!! However, to save the breakfast they had made fresh scones that were delicious ! No one as far as staff around after 8pm you must call a phone number ?
Location: right downtown, steps away from restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, bars, and the Farmer's Market. Convenient parking in city garage a block away. Very accommodating staff eager to meet dietary (gluten free) needs and to recommend local restaurants and sites to see. Breakfast cooked to order with fresh fruit was a real treat. Large rooms with private baths. Property is going dog free which will be a treat for guests with allergies. Location was amazingly quiet considering how many bars a just a block or two away. Property is showing its age a bit. Carpets on grand staircase leading up to second level need to be replaced; table runner on stand in hallway had hole in it; sinks in the old wash stands are funky and nice but not terribly functional and should be upgraded. AC unit had a hard time keeping room cool during 90+ days. Rooms overlooking Garden Street can be noisy early morning as street sweepers and garbage trucks make their rounds.
Close to center of downtown & Thursday night farmers market. Within walking distance of train station. Friendly, helpful staff, good-sized rooms. Personal preference is for less antique ambience, more drawers, bigger closet space and shower only (vs tub/shower combos).
The rooms were beautifully decorated. .. felt very at home . Super quiet and relaxing. Waffles and eggs cooked to order for breakfast with bananas in top was so good .
Location and price were great for the area. Breakfast was better than average continental option Breakfast was only served 730-930.. Traveling for business, so breakfast at 6 or 7 is much better.
comfortable bed, felt more like home than a hotel its a little far from Paso Robles, about 10 miles, but not a big deal
This is an adorable B&B in a cute vineyard location, close to Paso Robles. We got the king room and it was beautiful, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Very romantic. Only wish we had booked at least one extra night. Everything was great, but driving at night can be a bit tricky, since it's very rustic. Probably better when there's more daylight.
very nice place, nice room, spa tub in room was sweet, nice patio to relax in during the evening with nice smells (flowers) a nice bottle of wine from one of the vineyard's wine makers would've been a nice touch. The owner was out so didn't have much personal contact with anyone. The owner did call and tell us he would not be there so it wasn't a surprise, very appreciated.
