The room was very clean and the TV was actually from this century. The staff were very nice as well.
A couple of the other guests got loud in the middle of the night but it was only a minor problem. We got stuck in Athens due to the storm. We ran low on food and couldn't get more because of the iced-up roads. One of the staff gave us some cinnamon bread. That was pretty cool.
The price with the value was excellent, nice television and amenities.
I would have liked an indoor pool and better wifi connection. It took forever to download, sometimes I could only get my email.
Simple - the fact that I could NOT get credit for the four days I did NOT STAY at the hotel!!!! All due to some archaic rules on the Priceline website. My business meeting/class was cancelled on Monday morning, but I got NO satisfaction.Priceline's fault. The hotel was hard to find, even with the Tom Tom's help.
Hotel is in a great location. That was the reason for our selection. The staff was friendly.
There appear to be some problems with mold or mildew. The wall paper was peeled back in a two foot section near the sink, exposing a dense coverage of black spots on the wall and the back of the wallpaper. The carpet felt really nasty on my feet.
I booked the room for my elderly parents, my Mother is handicapped. My parents refused to stay! I had booked a handicap non smoking room and the room was not handicap or non smoking and nasty.I called to get my account refunded, it was refused.
My Parents found the room that was offered to them unacceptable,Mother has to have a handicap. They never stay in a smoking room because of the odor. This room was booked for my sons graduation from college for 1 night. My parents said it was dirty and a bad odor and not acceptable to stay there.I am very disappointed that my request for a refund was denied.Due to the fact that what I had booked for them. Was not what they got and they did not stay.I will be telling everyone.
average room, crappy location.
It was cool that there was a mini fridge and an iron and ironing board.Close to downtown Athens, so the price was reasonable.
Convenient location to downtown.
Would have enjoyed more fresh food for breakfast. Consisted only of frozen or packaged items.Days Inn, Athens, GA is convenient to downtown shops, UGA, and restaurants nearby. Easy access to Athens Botanical Gardens and shopping areas. Make sure you request a non-smoking room or you will be placed in a smoking room if you don't specify this from the beginning.
