7.1 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast. Nicely decorated with period furniture. Good location .. not far from Twycross zoo. Near local pub which was excellent. Nice toiletries & great selection of hot drinks.
Cons: Woken up at 6.15am by a noise from the water pump .. spoke to owner Tim who didn't know for sure what the problem was .. probably an air lock .. but woke us up as it was really loud & spoilt our good night's sleep. Bed was very soft .. but if that's what you like then that's a positive. Quite noisy .. you could hear every car and plane flying over, single glazed .. although wasn't too much traffic during the night due to location.

Pros: I loved the feel of the place. Set in a lovely location, excellent view from my window. Huge, spacious room and bathroom and attentive but not overbearing hosts. It felt welcoming and relaxed. Loved it.
Cons: Few spiderwebs but that's not a huge deal - it's an old building

Pros: An unexpected gem. Friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Kids enjoyed exploring the property in the morning and the scenery was beautiful Rooms were comfy and did the job
Cons: Sign to the farm entrance could do with being changed to a more noticable one. We arrived fairly late with tired kids, so driving around for 15-20min extra to find it was a little frustrating.

Pros: Big bed and very comfortable. Breakfast to die for. Jenny and Bill were the perfect hosts and made us very welcome
Cons: Room could have been a little more upgraded

6.3 Good
Pros: We stayed in the actual Hotel, in a lovely double room children in twin next door, although had booked a Family room, not the Annex-it was disgraceful. Food was lovely after the long wait for it.
Cons: Family members stayed in The Annex - it was awful, no curtains, stained and threadbare carpets, mattresses too big for bed base. After warning hotel there would be at least 16 for evening meal, it was chaos, my kids were given there meal and finished it before my husband & 1 even got ours...no apology think it was quite a normal occurrence.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I hired the function room for my husband’s 40th and a hotel room. Arranging the party was super easy and the function staff were great at sorting the buffet and arranging the tables etc how I wanted them ready for the party. During the evening they were really helpful with everything and made sure the whole evening went smoothly. The hotel rooms was just the right size, comfortable and clean. The shampoo etc was a nice touch and we lived the style of the room as it fitted with the age of the building. Thank you for a great weekend!
Cons: Nothing
4.6 Okay
Pros: Lounge down stairs was really nice
Cons: Only one towel for two people, room smelled and the shower was really dirty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good quality food, nice and quite
Cons: they forgot to clean the room one day and replace my tea/coffee, but the staff replaced the tea/coffee when asked, no problem. Parking is limited and being a lady on my own and coming back late on Sunday night I didn't want to walk too far, so had to park in a restricted area and hope for the best.
