Pros: Andrew and Antoinette were fantastic hosts! They couldn't have been more kind and welcoming to their lovely home. The cooked Irish breakfasts (and Antoinette's amazing fresh bread) were wonderful and really set you up for the day. The house and the room were beautiful. You couldn't ask for more from a stay in Ireland.

Pros: Staff was amazing. Facility is out in the countryside which was a perfect getaway and walk through quiet country roads. The country manor is quite beautiful and a step back in time to more genteel living.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic house, gorgeous furnishings, very comfortable. Loved the breakfast and homemade scones. Andrew and Antoinette were so warm and welcoming. Our room was so big and with a lovely en-suite - spotlessly clean. The bath was incredible. It was great to be able to walk to Kilkea castle where we had a good meal in the golf clubhouse there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.
Cons: Everything was wonderful!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and chatty hosts!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Andrew and Antoinette though extremely busy are caring and charming hosts who took time to chat and Antoinette was warmly good humoured in extricating her team mate Andrew when the talk went on too long (twice!). My room was beautifully and imaginatively decorated with a sumptuous comfortable bed and pristine en suite. I was delighted with the up- to -the- minute wash hand basin plumbed into an old marble -topped dresser which managed to look as if it had been fitted in the Victorian or Edwardian era matching the original furniture from those times also in the bedroom. There was a little fridge in the hall in which had been placed r fresh milk and water to take up at bedtime was great to have.

Cons: Nothing to report had a wonderful stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Mary and Magaret were super host Super stay
8.0 Excellent
Pros: High quality, very clean with nice bathroom, towels and bed linens.
Cons: I didn’t realize that there was no breakfast, and nowhere convenient to get breakfast, when I booked it. Typically in Ireland breakfast is included and makes for a more seamless start to the day. I would not have stayed here if I realized that ahead of time. This was my oversight but payment is required up front so no opportunity to change after the fact. It should be more clear that breakfast is not included so others do not make the same assumption.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary greeted us at the door and showed us around. The room was big with an en-suite bathroom and a big wardrobe. Coffee, tea and biscuits were left in the room in case we were a bit peckish which made it so sweet. Everything was clean and tidy. Shower was amazing and the bed super comfy. When we were checking out this morning Mary again met us downstairs and asked about the weeding we attended. Overall it’s a 10/10 place to stay and you will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything Mary I’m sure we’ll be back soon!

Pros: This is a totally charming and captivating place to stay! It combines the warmth and friendliness of being in the heart of a family home with sublime fare, incredible grounds, a host of interesting creatures and delightful finds around every corner. We had one of the best meals of our entire 3 week road trip around England, Wales and Ireland here - with a bit of fun thrown in when the chefs turned musicians and played for us at supper! Thank you Hannah and Paddy - you have some magic going on in that beautiful spot! We could have spent 3 days just in your library!

Cons: The room itself was ok. It was the location that was horrible. It was like staying in an apartment complex. The room was very warm and I didn’t feel safe leaving the windows open at night. The town of Kildare was also a let down after all of the wonderful town I seen throughout Ireland.

Pros: The candlelit homecooked breakfast made to make you feel relaxed, welcomed and get you ready for your busy day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The sink taps were easy to grip and turn - I hate those "modern" grooved taps which you cannot turn off with soapy fingers. Some of the best designs of the past have been irrevocably destroyed by so-called "modernism".

Cons: Nothing!
