The woman at the desk that took care of us when we arrived at the hotel was very friendly. She also was very helpful when I asked questions about using the computer and printer. The jacuzzi was very comfortable, the only complaint we have about it is that we wished it had been open much later than what it was. Some (not all) of the staff were very rude. After checking into the room and coming back from dinner, we were walking out of our room to make our way to the pool, and we were having a conversation and laughing as we were closing the door to our room, when a maid walked up to us and rudely said to us, "What's the problem?!?!". We looked at her very confused and said we had no problem, that's when she stomped away from us and went down another hallway. Upon checkout on Sunday, we waited at the desk as the gentleman at the desk was on the phone, he decided to take our room keys and acted very annoyed. I remained standing there because I wanted to ask a question, and before I could finish my question he immediately cut me off, and gave me an answer that had nothing to do with what I was attempting to ask him. It was very rude and we left after that, with that situation being our last impression. The mini fridge in our room was turned up to the coldest setting, which was not cold at all. The outlet next to the coffee maker did not work at all and the entire switch plate was loose. It would have been nice if breakfast was included, but it was not. There were no exhaust fans in the bathroom.
The room was good. Please note: that the hotel is under construction. The room was nice. Our weekend was not interrupted by construction but I don't know what could be affected during week days. The hotel offered ear plugs for the potential construction noise, which was a bit odd. Small stain on comforter. Made me question the overall cleanliness, i.e. Was this a stain or was it leftover from the previous customer??
Lovely property. The front desk staff was very professional.Location is great for business or shopping in the Perimeter area of North Atlanta. The parking lot is a killer! Hope you like to climb hills or steps!
The staff was extremely friendly. That the room type I booked wasn't what I was originally put in, but the staff got it right.
Located by interstate Friendly service/ staff Bathroom had rust stains Noise level from neighboring room loud
The location was great! The beds were really uncomfortable
I absolutely loved the hotel, the staff, and the room! It was very modern and up to par! BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW! (Unless you like super soft, to where your head is sinking into the pillow) I could not get comfortable because I didn't have enough support from the pillow.. This may sound like I'm being prudent, but I like my sleep just as much as the next! Also, breakfast is NOT included with your stay. It has to be billed to your room or you pay for it when your done.
Sam and Charles, our shuttle drivers, were the tops! They took us too and from the MARTA Medical Center station nearest to us, and Sam had a good recommendation for a nearby sushi restaurant and even chauffeured us there and back on Saturday night! Even though they do not expect a tip, we gave each of them $10 per day for their excellent service. The junior suite was very clean and well-kept, and everything we used (particularly the Keurig coffee/tea maker) was in good working order. The whirlpool in the spa/pool area was just right on Saturday night (we got back from dinner in the L5 too late Friday to use it). The hotel even allowed us to keep our car in its lot after checkout on Sunday so that we could visit Stone Mountain for the day, and Charles graciously shuttled us to and from the metro station again so that our packed car could remain safe in the hotel lot before we traveled the three hours home. This was the first time we had actually stayed overnight in Atlanta, believe it or not, because we live close enough to Atlanta that we usually drive down and back in a day. But we plan to do this again and hope to make Hilton Garden Inn Perimeter Center our regular home when we do. We are timeshare owners with Westgate Resorts, so we are used to getting pampered while traveling on leisure, and this hotel very much met what we have come to expect from our resort company. At $18.95, breakfast was pricey. My wife did not care for her pancakes, although I found them to be average. Even without getting anything from the kitchen and taking just the continental breakfast, the price is $6.95, while many hotels offer such items complimentary. We ate there the first morning but not the second, as we didn't feel it was good value for the price.
Had to wait a short time to check in so was given a small gift. Food outstanding, service just as good
The room a were amazing. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast needs work. My husband and myself were very disappointed in the breakfast bar. The food was over cooked, so we barely ate anything at all. Then we got a bill for 30 dollars just for 2 of us. For a few pieces of sausage a buiscet and my husband got a scoop of powdered eggs. Very disappointed.
They handled all the problems that I had
The room we lovely and comfortable. The front desk was very nice and accomidating. It was a short drive to fun things in Atlanta. We went to the movies, a braves game, the world of coke, lots of Dinning out, and lots of stuff to do. Would consider staying here again. We were traveling to a different time zone so our sleep schedule was a little off. The first morning there were guests in the hallway talking loudly about having to pack and leave for over 30 minutes. Later that day we took a nap because we were so tired. The staff knocked on the door for room service. It was the wrong room. Oops. The next morning, the one we were due to check out at 12Pm the housekeeper knocked on our door at 9:30am. Seems a little anxious to get us our of there to clean lady. The only other drawback was parking. The parking lot was close but it was up a steep hill or mountain of steps. We came and left the hotel a lot and so there was a lot of climbing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay though.
theres was no fridge or microwave in room
I loved everything. The staff was friendly and made me and my travel companions feel welcome and comfortable. (You have something called a ham and cheese muffin. I still say eeeew, but I thought that was kinda nifty! :-)
Check in and check out was very simple, the staff was friendly and it was a very close trip from the airport via the free shuttle. The staff was very unhelpful. The first night we stayed there, the power went out do to a large lightning storm. The next morning the power was still not on and we needed to leave. We called the front desk and they said that they would send someone up to escort us down the stairs. 30 minutes later, we gave up waiting for someone to come up and we decided to go down ourselves. The stairs had no emergency lighting and were pitch black. The hotel staff thought it would be plenty to drop a glow stick on every other landing which it was not and we ended up going down 10 flights of stairs using our cell phones and flashlights.
Service It didn't have a microwave nor a refrigerator
Starbucks coffee in the rooms
Staff, location, cleanliness, comfort, all great This one time only- bar drinks- running out of sll kinds of drinks from wine to vodka to local beer (draft and bottles) I ended up going across the street to ruby Tuesday to get a mixed drink for the night. Said it was something to do with changing management staff and as a business owner if you advertise you have this product you have it. If it was one item of say ok but it was at least 10 diffrrent items because I saw other people leave like me. I will still stay here again though.
I think it is ridiculous that I had to pay $8 for parking when I was a guest there.
Just the Loby Old forniture, small room. I have reserved a King size bed, they gave me 2 quuen size beds
Moldy tiles in the shower Club level messy and food display was disorganized
Friendly and helpful staff.
Everything seemed worn and dirty. The shuttle did not run timely and was about 20 minutes late.
location The hotel had no record of my reservation through Booking.com I had to pay for this room through my credit card. I do not wish to remit payment through Booking.com. If you charged my account, please credit the account. I do not wish to pay twice for the same one night visit.
The hotel was convenient to the activities we had planned. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being a weekend with several families staying there and being next to the airport, it was still very quiet. Difference in the price we were quoted and what we ended up paying.
We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The shuttle was very convenient and on time.
The rooms; service, professionalism and kindness of shuttle drivers and housekeeping staff. Free breakfast was an added location. It's close to the airport and lots of other activities. The front desk staff were rude, unprofessional and discourteous! Needs more parking spaces
Cant tell a book by it's cover. The outside yello paint seemed like it would be depressing in side. The room was spacious, clean and I sleeped well.
Early morning desk staff and shuttle driver were helpful and pleasant
Nice older facility, open atrium setup, good breakfast. Rude, rude, rude desk clerk...that woman should be fired or moved to the cleaning staff.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. I stayed 7 days and never had an issue with noises from other rooms. I didn't see any wanderers or any other suspicious activity outside, and it was a fairly quiet area. The pillows are terrible. They are like sleeping on a sack of rocks with a little padding. The first night had to go buy my own pillows from some place 10 miles away. They need to buy new pillows, and bad. The air conditioner units are also very loud and placed right next to the bed, so if you are sensitive to loud sounds bring ear muffs or something.
Spacy Room No Wifi signal, a/c didnt work (maint never came), called front desk 7 times and they never picked up (had to personally go down and ask for a/c maint, which never came), not even a cracker for breakfast. Got there at 3pm to check in and left the next day at 7am!! the only staff I saw was the check in lady when I got there. It felt like a Self Serv Hotel.
Free internet service available and courteous staff who try to accomodate guests. On site parking. Room service was efficient and food was good. Very small room and noise from the street. No in-room refrigerators as stated on your site.
Loved it all great customer service throughout hotel! Which is one of the biggest things on returning customers. Nothing I didn't like loved it all!
Room are spacious and very comfortable. Elevators could use an upgrade.
Good location... We arrived at 2 in the morning. Front desk clerk announced in a surly tone that even though we prepaid through Kayak and a third party, it was the next day and our reservation was cancelled. I asked him to please be reasonable and attempt to get the room back. He begrudgingly put forth the required effort to get us in our room.
Sports facility even though it was too hot at the beginning but the changed it after I mentioned it. No.
Nature, good staff, prices and comfort
Great value for a quality hotel Beds too soft
Service from and back to airport was excellent! Room was nice and big with a desk en very clean. Service at reception was quick and staff was very helpful and friendly. Will recommend the hotel anytime!
When we arrived at 10:30pm we were told they were over sold and we had no room, even though the room was prepaid, we had to reload our luggage and move to another hotel, last time I will use double tree hotels
Convenient Location...near to Airport and access to the Marta and downtown
Above average for an Airport Hotel. Comfortable, clean, quiet, free WIFI, adequate restaurant facilities - just a well put together hotel experience. Slow check-in due to courtesy bus arrival.
Good location for an extended layover. There are plenty of food options within walking distance and the in house restaurant looked quite nice as well We appreciated the free shuttle service from the airport, but since we arrived at the international terminal, we had to wait more than 45 min from when we called to see the bus
Not much. Loud at 1am under construction over priced for amenities. Should be a $79 hotel till renovations completed See above unfortunately I am scheduled in there tonight which I booked with the first stay and prepaid no knowing the construction situation. Also no points on s third party booking. Very disappointing hard to recommend $79 hotel at best in current state
Quick and easy check-in. Food from restaurant . Through kayak it's says free parking. But the hotel charge $10 for self parking. Kayak needs to straighten that part out on their booking site. And they need to refund me my $10 for parking. Because their site says free parking. But the hotel charged me $10. Only one elevator worked during my stay.
Good place to stay while traveling through Atlanta. Clean, convenient, and comfortable. No complaints.
Good cookies, nice people
Staff was very courteous. The room with amenities was so comfortable. In room dining was very good. All in all a great experience. I also appreciated the shuttle staff.
Loved the corner room, the bed was wonderful...roomy...bathroom very nice and clean.....breakfast was very good. Can't find any complaints
Moving my daughter back to GT this was a superb location both near GeorgiaTech and just off the highway. Staff was friendly and valet parking couteous. Easy walk to campus and to good food.
great location for us. Average service. Unacceptable Shuttle service. Not available when needed.
The upgraded decor and modern look. Our room was on the ground floor on a street corner. There was a event that was letting out till 12am. Loud music, public intoxication, extreme traffic noise. After that subsided we were able to get some sleep. Until 3:50am. There were 3 or 4 guest congragating in the our hall way speaking loudly and were also intoxicated. After 35 minutes of drunken conversation and bursts of profanity, they either gave up and left or were kicked out. We now were able to go back to sleep. 6:05am there was someone banging on the door adjacent to ours. After 7 attempts they left. By this time we are contemplating just getting up for the day. Our alarm was set for 7:00am.
I liked the free shuttle shuttle service. The hotel is within walking distance from major attractions. We walked back to the hotel from Fox theater at midnight and we did not ecounter any problems.
Room was clean and covenient for going to the Aquarium The food was not very desirible for the breakfast buffett
The location and the price of the hotel are the most attractive points for people who traveling to Atlanta for bussiness.
The staff front desk staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was very disapointing. The breakfast staff was rude and the food was cold. I am hoping this was not a normal representation of their service. The signage could be better. We almost passed the hotel several times.
Caught a great weekend deal. Very clean, nice furnishings, 2 LG flat screen HD TVs were nice touch. Breakfast staff worked very hard to please large crowds. Many restaurants of every price range and variety within 2 miles. not really. not much check-in parking
The entire experience was outstanding. I would most definitely stay at this particular hotel many more times.
Staff was friendly, but wasn't very on top of things. Also, walked in at 4 in the afternoon to room service just getting to our room. They also neglected to take the towels that we had to use to clean the toilet overflow. Had a clogged toiled that flooded to the floor, and it took the staff over an hour and a half to even send someone up to the room.
the location. breakfast was good and hearty! The friends we visited all were in the same area. back entrance was handy when parking was at the rear---extra parking below was convenient.
Friendly Staff The internet service was down over entire stay of 4 day'S.This was very disapointing as I need to go to another hotel to work
The location is within walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. The beds and pillows are awesome! The walls are pretty soundproof so you don't hear a lot of outside noise. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 7am on Sat. morning and made me late to my 8am class.
Location and staff very nice. Not clean and not worth the rate for the quality of room and hotel.
Location. Nothing with communication was working: telephone, computer... Then no receipt. Vending machines didn't work. Breakfast area too small.
Clean room and friendly staff. Not enough room in the food area for guests to get breakfast. There is enough room to sit and eat, but not enough room where food is served.... could not get to the food.
The staff was wonderful and friendly. The lobby was very quaint and charming. The pool was a nice touch, and I really wish I'd had a chance to take advantage of it! The room was large and comfortable with plenty of storage and closet space. There were bugs everywhere outside (to be fair, it is summer). The air conditioner was a little off for my taste, but it kept the room cool. The bathtub drain didn't close so I could take a proper bath :(
Everything was great. I paid for a King but received a queen.
Room was a little small but other than that was great value.
The location is close to several tourist places and easy access We was placed in the room that exposed to the lobby which is so much noise that I could not sleep proper throughout our stay which cause great danger when I driving without good rest. The staff also very mean when I request for a change of room. The room is designated for hard of hearing or deaf people so it have a flashing door bell which some one click in the middle of the night and wake us up scrambling because we thought it a fire alarm. This is terrible.
Convenient; quiet; clean. Very friendly and attentive staff. Refrigerator, microwave would be most helpful. Parking lot was overfilled - fire lanes had parked cars. Overflow parking lot was blocked off, marked "Deliveries only". Breakfast was good, but dinner menu was, at best, on a par with a school cafeteria.
Everything went good until the checkout. The staff guy at the reception, asked me to pay an extra $5 that KAYAK did not payed him! He said that since July first, Georgia State charging $5 extras. I told him that I booked on July 11th and I paid all what I have been asked to pay (including Tax Recovery Charge & Other Fees), then he said OK just forget it (he was not very happy).
Basic necessities provided. Rooms actually spacious but a throwback to the 80's.
Good customer service ,clean and comfortable Nothing
Clean Pretty much everything else
The full breakfast and the guest service rep Priscella Ellis. She was very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the facility as a whole was great.
I arrived at 10:30pm only to find out that they overbooked the hotel and they had moved my reservation to a Quality Inn across town, which was NOT a nice place. It was almost an hour away from my 6:00am meeting so, by the time I arrived and checked in, I barely got to sleep at all. They comped the night but an email or call would have been nice. I could have found something else MUCH closer to where I needed to be. I cancelled my second night and went to a different hotel chain altogether.
the fact my booking was not received
Rooms were very clean. Towels and linen clean and fresh No bathroom was small
NA Pretty much nothing was likable.
Spacious room with comfortable bed and full kitchen. The hot breakfast buffet saved us time and money. The inner bathroom was very cramped.

Free parking and fastest internet I've ever seen in a hotel No housekeeping svc--my complaints were met with excuses and inaction from poorly trained staff
Location and service No
It was just a nice place to stay No there wasn't
The location was great. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable! We went down for breakfast at 9am, and told it was over and nothing left. The staff member was very non-human in their attitude like 'tough luck Charlie'. We have never heard of a hotel breakfast being over before 9am. It was a disappointment.

Location Hotwater stop on my first day. College kids had a wild party the next day.
