Located in Aubange, Hotel Le Pole Europeen is within a 10-minute drive of National Bowling Center / Tennis Hall and Longwy Pottery and Enamels. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was OK but a bit cold.
Pros: Reasonable price near the very pricey Luxemburg.
Cons: Very week, almost useless internet, only French and Italian speaking TV channels and mediocre dinner.
Pros: A little off the beaten track, good for a one night stay on your way through to the North East of France. Clean - though I have an issue with wall to wall carpets in hotel bedrooms.
Cons: No airco, just a fan. WiFi is not brilliant. No 24/7 reception - luckily I could arrive in time.
Cons: The staff were not helpful, resturant was closed Breakfast felt like it was too much trouble. Did not meet our expectations from the description. But was a bed fir the night!!!
Pros: Small privite hotel, so reception doesn't work 24h, like I expected. Anyway hotel is good and very nice owner.
Pros: Location between 3 countries. Comfortable room, bed and shower.
Cons: Breakfast only 8-10am.
Located in Arlon, Van der Valk Hotel Luxembourg - Arlon is in the suburbs, a 5-minute drive from Maison Gaspar and 5 minutes from Monument King Albert. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Arlon? This hotel has facilities measuring 12917 square feet (1200 square meters), including a conference center. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Extremely polite staff; modern and chic décor; impressed with the property - arrived late when kitchen was closed so could not try out the food
Cons: The shower cubicle had no place like a small shelf to keep / hold the soap while showering. This means you put soap all over your body or shampoo in your hair and then hold it in your hand...…. or put it on the ground.....or walk out place it on the wash basin then go back in the cubicle to continue.....happy showering.....
Pros: The view on the top floors is magnificent and the silence is perfect
Pros: everything was fine
Pros: The room was spacious and well furnished. They had a great bar and restaurant area, with very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choices and take also special orders.
Cons: The location of the hotel was just fine - its the access that is very cumbersome! It was only accessible from one side of the street so you always had to drive around coming or going. And the signs on the road are not very clear, they are rather small. So go there because its an excellent hotel but just be aware of this inconvenience.
Pros: It is a clean hotel and has all the necessities you need for a good stay.
Cons: Nothing to add to be honest.
Pros: The Room was very clean and had a nice decor. Parking lot was empty but this was to be expected with Covid-19, the lobby was spacious just like the rooms.
Cons: Understandably no Evening meals because of the Covid -19, i did see a "cold Meat" option for the evening meal but i passed as i bought my own knowing this. The room has a Fridge but even knowing Zero facilities were open downstairs there was no drinks available in the room. If i had not bought my own then it would have been another story. also only 2 coffee pods, again they know nothing is open so you'd though they would have at least put something in the room. Money isn't the issue here BTW. With regards to the lighting, the bathrooms are very dimly lit - too dim to use the mirrors.
Cons: Not keen on glass shower. Would have preferred a larger cup for the coffee! Only one teabag in room.

Pros: A lovely welcome everytime, and the house is so relaxing and well decorated. Breakfast for the extra money is worth it. I'm bringing my wife next time.
Pros: Everything was perfect! Very beautiful place, very nice and hospitable houseoweners, all things for comfortable vacation! Will be glad to come back here again! P.s. and also lovely and friendly dog), who met us every evening and morning)
Pros: Silent, near the motorway, clean
Pros: Breakfast croissants were best I've had. Breakfast included cereals, fruit, fresh bread, jams, meat & cheese slices.
Cons: Nothing to criticize at all.
Pros: It was very cozy and clean, we had everything what we needed. Lots of optionals for breakfast, most of them BIO
Cons: Far from a restaurant, but if you have a car, it shouldn’t be a problem. The host are living in the same house.
Pros: Very friendly in a lovely country location. Very clean. I'd stay again..
Cons: You have to travel to get a meal.
With a stay at Hotel Arlon, you'll be centrally located in Messancy, within a 10-minute drive of Maison Gaspar and Monument King Albert. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: On the motorway so easy if you're just wanting to stop to sleep.
Cons: Weird old fashioned rooms and uncomfortable beds & bedding, alot for €85 a night.
Pros: When you leave early, they made a breakfast bag, which was plenty
Pros: The Breakfast
Cons: , The noise of the room , the leaky window, the water pool on the window ledge and floor, the motorway noise the wind howling in the window frame that is about to fall out, the peeling wallpaper, and the itchy beds.. Other than that its ok
Pros: 1) close to motorway 2) comfy beds 3) good bathroom 4) big bedroom 5) breakfast
Cons: Restaurant for dinner.
Pros: Quiet hotel despite location on the main Belgium-Luxembourg route. Staff friendly and the cafe provided nice meals with a reasonable range at good prices (2 courses and a d=soft drink EUR16). A packed breakfast to go was offered as I was leaving before the official opening of the breakfast facilities
Cons: Breakfast started too late for my work commitments - common in most locations due to the time I had to leave.
Cons: At checkout the receptionist was extremely unkind when I’ve asked for a receipt, saying that I should have done the previous night and complaining all the time I was waiting. Strongly recommend training for the receptionist! Never will stay again in this hotel
Pros: Location near highway, ideal as a stop over hotel for trips from NW Europe to SE Europe by car.
Cons: Noise insulation could be better: you can hear the cars driving by.
Pros: convenient to the motorway. Breakfast was good. Comfortable bed, the bath and shower was good
Cons: The Hotel needs refurbishing. The security is not good enough; anyone can walk into any of the areas except the lockable bedrooms. The stairwell area smells of damp, the toilet in the bathroom is positioned in a cramped position. Close it down for renovation, it's not up to the standard of Best Western hotels. WiFi should be free (included)
Pros: Convenient location close to autoroute. Clean and comfortable rooms. Reasonable buffet breakfast.
Cons: The noise from the nearby road that continued throughout the night was a bit disturbing.
Pros: I found it very conveniently placed for a one night stop over tp break up the journey from UK to southern Germany.
Cons: I found the cafeteria rather hectic with many passengers arriving on holiday buses. But I guess that is part of the nature of its position on the Route du Soleil. :>)
Pros: Large room
Cons: Wifi relies on a card from reception for 2 hours. Noisy, as above autoroute
Pros: Clean,comfortable,good value for money
Cons: No welcome tray of tea/coffee
Cons: The first room was not cleaned also the bathroom and no clean sheets. We got another room without problem.
Pros: Dinner in the restaurant was a good standard
Cons: The room did not have an outlook to the car park However there wasn't really any need for this and obviously the hotel position (motorway)Didn't have attractive views not really an issue
Pros: It was very convenient.
Cons: Rooms a bit tired and dated.
Pros: Very hard to find something.... Just the fact that it was close to the interstate. Very little plus.
Cons: Terrible sickening odor, pieces of furnitures falling apart, handle of the room door stayed in my hand ! Hotel must be avoided.
9.2 Excellent (289 reviews)

Pros: The couple in charge are extremely hospitable, friendly and personable.
Pros: Absolutely everything! Very cozy, nice rooms, great sauna, very flexible manager on spa timing. And, amazing breakfast, only home made or regional specialties of very good quality.
Cons: On Saturday and Sunday their restaurant is closed. For the dinner you need to reserve a restaurant in Arlon, otherwise, you don't get a place.
Pros: I really enjoyed the warm welcome by the Hotel staff. Restaurant is a gem!
Pros: Super quiet country location just outside Arlon. Wonderful choice at breakfast
Cons: Steps down to reception
Pros: Excellent dinner
Cons: A little hard to find.
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, enough space in the rooms, good shower in the room, good bed, water kettle in the room for making coffee/tea, quiet location and quiet during the night, during the week the possibility to dine in the restaurant of the hotel for fair prices. Available newspapers during breakfast. Very nice spa area in the hotel.
Cons: Breakfast was ok, not more or less. It is rather a continental breakfast, there is not so much choice, but the available products were fresh and regional
When you stay at Hotel La Venerie in Virton, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Gaume Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The place
Pros: Everything was perfect!!!
Cons: The matrasses where a bit old
Pros: Not a modern hotel, but clean. In quiet surroundings, with a nice view. Very good bed. Bathroom spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner very tasty, and nicely presented. Staff is friendly and attentive. Large parking space.
Pros: Beautiful location, very good and friendly service
Cons: The wifi sucked
Pros: Breakfast and views were great
Cons: Bathroom drain was clogged and door would not close fully.
Pros: This hotel is situated in a quiet location. The view from the room across the valley is astonishing. The breakfast is more than complete.
Cons: The room could use some refurbishing. Although it was clean, it smelled a little damp.
Pros: Fantastic views. Lovely food and host. Location a 5min walk from lakes.
Pros: A nice little what looks like a family run hotel in the mountains that offers the chance to get away from it all and delivers. The two girls who run the reception, restaurant, breakfast, pretty much everything, do their level best to accomodate you in all they do. From the location in the hills to the sleepy atmosphere of the area, you can relax on the terrace with a nice cold beer, or coffee of course, and enjoy the scenic view. The relaxed atmosphere is aptly added to by a dog that lounges in much the same way as Snoopy would and an automated R2D2 lawnmower that doodles lazily over the grass but still manages to surprise you when you see it moving out of the corner of your eye. The interior is very old-worldly and traditional of what you would expect with the restaurant/breakfast area all done in wooden floors, painted wooden rafters and tasteful paintings. If you're into modern, new age, etc. this is most definitely not the place for you, but that can be said of the entire area - more for trekking, biking, hiking than for staying part of the rat race. The food in the restaurant is of good quality and prepared with a caring hand(also something that's not necessarily a given in a hotel) and the breakfast is phenomenal and you won't walk out the door hungry. The room was very clean with a huge bathroom and the bed also very comfortable to sleep in. They do have Wi-Fi, but it's intermittent depending on where you are in the hotel, so if you really, really need to check mails and stay connected to the WWW, you're probably best staying with whatever deal your mobile company has set up for you. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who just wants to step away from society and see how the other half lives, so to speak and the it is just the two girls who do everything, then I have to doff my cap to them, especially if they are alone during peak season - which I wasn't there to experience. Would I stay here again? Definitely.
Cons: Wi-Fi was weak, but again, that's not really a complaint.
Located in Étalle, in a building dating from 19th century, La Chrysalide provides a restaurant and guestrooms with free WiFi. Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. Guests at La Chrysalide will be able to enjoy activities in and around Étalle, like hiking and cycling. Luxembourg is 46 km from the accommodation, while Bouillon is 48 km away.
Pros: It is a quality hotel. The room was spacious and provided with good quality furnishings - and excellent towels. It was very good for a stopover and I will visit again when passing. It looks as if there are several walks through the Ardennes from the small town if you were stopping longer and it is close to Luxembourg for cheap fuel!!
Pros: I had no breakfast but the lunch in the restaurant is amazing! Excellent relation price/quality.
Pros: Restaurant on site really nice food! Room satisfactory if a liitle small.
Cons: Check in experience. We turned up and had to wait for an hour before anyone arrived, together with another guest who managed to contact the owner. The village was shut for the afternoon so there was nothing to do except visit the local food shop and pharmacy.
Pros: The room was spacious and cosy. It had walk-in shower, double bed, kettle, tea and coffee. The hotel also has a very nice restaurant. Chief Kadir makes excellent pizzas and salads. The hosts are very hospitable.
Pros: Everything ok, breakfast, dinner, confort, quiet room, really friendly personal
Pros: Good sized room with sitting area. Good shower.
Cons: Awkward stairs to negotiate, steep and winding.
Pros: Easy to find, very welcoming and helpful staff, clean, nice room, good breakfast, good pizzas in their restaurant in the evening.
Pros: - Friendly staff - Very clean - Nice restaurant in hotel
Cons: - Room was very hot
Pros: Hotel has a very comfortable room with a good shower, very clean.bed was super comfortable. Parking next door is not a problem. Supermarkets close by, gas station as well
Cons: It has no AC, you are forced to open the window, but: the hotel is facing a very noisy main street, it's so much noise you won't be able to sleep (includes tractors passing and churches with their bells). I had the bad luck to be facing the street of the Sheep yearly festival here, with a mega loud party, drunk teenagers fighting next to the window at 3am, plus neighbors talking next to my window at 8am on a Sunday (with the window opened, otherwise it would be too hot). Our receptionist barely spoke English, but we kind of managed. You need a car to find a restaurant, and no regular buses pass by this small village

Pros: Food fantastic
Pros: The decor, the surroundings, the staff. Pretty much everything.
Cons: Our room was a little cold upon arrival and it took a while for the heater to take effect. Other than that, faultless.
Pros: A fantastic place. We come every year!
Pros: We thoughrily enjoyed our stay, two things are worth mentioning, 1 the address on the satellite navigation took us to the top of the hill where the rough dirt track starts and we negotiated that with difficulty as we were towing a trailer with a car on it. 2 We were driving from Zebrugge and mindful of the checkin time limits which was a bit stressful in case we had a problem, fortunatly we didnt but a later time limit might be better. Alistair
Cons: We liked everything and had a very nice experience.
Pros: Friendly staff, great location and excellent food.
Cons: Everything was excellent
Pros: Authentic, non-pretentious hotel. We appreciated the very friendly and hospitable staff. Breakfast was lovely, with only locally or home made product.
Cons: The shower was a little tricky to work out.
With a stay at B&B A Quiet Place in Tintigny, you'll be 11.6 mi (18.6 km) from Orval Abbey and 12.3 mi (19.8 km) from Saint-Martin. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, multilingual staff, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Absolute 10 out of 10 price / quality ratio. Nice shower with good water flow. Incredibly hospitable and kind owner.
Cons: The heat is turned down at some point in the evening. Around 10 PM. This makes it a little frisky sometimes, the beds compensate this thoroughly though.
Pros: Like it says in the advertisement, it’s a very quiet place, excellent to exploit the area of Luxembourg, Orval and area around Sedan.
Pros: Delicious breakfast, good value for money. Host is very nice
Cons: Nothing to do in the evening in the immediate neighbourhood of the property. Rooms have basic comfort.
Pros: Hostess was sweet and a fabulous cook. Great low cost getaway. I just came by myself to visit Orval in the day and A Quiet Place for the night. I had a great relaxing experience and great company at meals.
Cons: Nothing. It was just as advertised and just what I was looking for.
Pros: verry good breakfast !
Cons: Our room had a nice toilet and bathroom , but we had to go troo the hall to get there
Pros: We had the attic room, it is very spacious, ideal for family with kids. There is one big bed and three single beds. Bathroom was very clean, the entire space was clean actually. The decoration is nice and there are many amenities and some boardgames, drawing paper and markers for the kids. The attic room has a very big ceiling, there is also pellet heating, which is quite convenient.
Cons: There is a little kitchenette in the room, and our host put the breakfast items ready for us to eat in the morning. There was bread, ham, cheese, pancakes, honey, jam, juice, milk etc. It was fine for the first morning, allthough we didn't like so much that we had to set up our own breakfast and clean up as well. However, the second morning (we stayed two nights in total) we were supposed to eat from the same breakfast, nothing had been filled up, and the loaf of bread from the first day was a bit hard already. This was a bit dissapointing, because the venue has many good reviews about the breakfast. So I think it is a bit of a missed chance.

Pros: An amazing location with beautiful ‘old style’ rooms, delicious breakfast and nice atmosphere. The staff members were all very friendly! The place is definitely worth booking. We’ll be back!
Pros: The really good service by the new guy The ancient walls and parts of tge restaurantion The local Trapist beer The price
Cons: The smell of a thrift store The service by the older guy The inconsistent mix of interor styles
Pros: The staff were very friendly
Cons: The room we had was a little dated with a burgundy coloured bathroom suite, we were unable to hang the shower head up as the fixing was broken & there was some wallpaper peeling off. Drinks were expensive, we paid €40 for 4 small glasses of wine. We are in the restaurant but didn't have a menu given to us to choose from we were just asked how we wanted our steak cooking! Food was more than we expected also. We didn't opt for breakfast as it was extra and only continental served
Pros: We loved all of it the only disappointment was we couldn’t stay longer it was beautiful but we were only passing through would certainly go back and spend loing
Pros: We liked the authenticity and grounds. Dinners we're wonderful.
Pros: The food was amazing! The atmosphere was relaxing, warm, and inviting. Plus, the Chateau wasn't crowded. Price was good too.
Cons: The bathroom in our room needed repairs. The tub was completely loose from the wall, crack tiles, and mold.
