Located in Valentigney, Chambres D'hôtes la Maison de Juliette is a 4-minute drive from Church of the Sacred Heart and 6 minutes from Roman Theater. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This home is beautiful and the owners are very nice. We showed up late but they were very gracious to have us anyway. The rooms are very old fashioned, nice and clean. Breakfast was typically french and delicious. We would gladly stay here again!
Pros: Wonderful location! The French style breakfast had delicious home made jams and bread. The room/apartment has a shared kitchen with coffee maker and all the rest. Quiet and beautiful. The owners, Christian and Francoise, were very sweet and helpful in every way. The WiFi also worked well, a rarity in many small B&B's. Large, modern shower with lots of hot water. Highly recommended.
Cons: It was perfect
Pros: Our hotel room was immaculately furnished with a superb bathroom area. The owners were very helpful and recommended a great French restaurant for our evening meal. The local town was very interesting and worth a visit only a few minutes drive away. Really enjoyed the breakfast while listening to classical music. A lovely touch.
Pros: Bed is comfort. I was 1 night in separate house with shared kitchen. Design is perfect. Owners are friendly.
Located in Audincourt, Hotel Les Tilleuls is in the suburbs, within a 5-minute drive of Church of the Sacred Heart and Peugeot Museum of Adventure. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly staff & Great Breakfast!
Pros: Clean room with nice bathroom
Pros: Nice sized rooms, well laid out, excellent shower
Cons: The location isn't great, next to a run-down industrial unit. The Restaurant wasn't open the evening we stayed, which was unexpected and a bit disappointing.
Pros: It was very comfortable, secure parking, near to motorway
Cons: Lack of choice for dinner
Pros: Excellent breakfast esp. for France, very kind reception late in the evening together with a huge, friendly dog (I like dogs :-)). Comfortable bed, low noise level, slept very well. Excellent value for money.
Cons: Little dark in the shower
Pros: Clean, good breakfast
Cons: Style of decoration
Pros: Nothing, apart from the secure parking!
Cons: We booked a Superior Comfort room but when we arrived we discovered: No soap Fridge not plugged in and switched on in anticipation of guests arriving Faulty kettle which you had to hold the switch down to allow it to boil No tissues The advertised garden surroundings were poorly kept, with dog excrement left just under the ground floor balcony to our room. The room itself was somewhat depressing, the breakfast was poor and having booked for dinner we found there was one set menu with no choice whatsoever. Seems that this hotel is past it’s best and staff, whilst smiling and pleasant, have clearly lost their customer focus.
Located in Montbeliard, Hôtel de la Balance is a 2-minute drive from Castle of the Dukes of Wurttemberg and 5 minutes from Peugeot Museum of Adventure. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Honestly, this hotel doesn't even need to be rated. No other thanTchaikovsky himself spent a night at Hotel de la Balance in the end of the Nineteenth Century and wrote a very flattering note shortly afterwards, which we can now read at the receptiom desk.
Cons: In the hottest days of summer climatisatiom or some fans would improve the confort in thr rooms.0
Pros: The location was great and room was clean and comfortable
Cons: The shower curtain, got in the way and let water flood across bathroom floor
Pros: Excellent receptionist- very welcoming. Great breakfast. On site parking although quite tight access and there is a charge.
Cons: Room was quite compact - difficult to move around.
Pros: Friendly welcome, clean and comfortably. Great centre location would definitely recommended.
Pros: breakfast, atmosfere, history.
Pros: The pictures look nice and the style is thought off. The breakfast (and hall) and staff are great! the city has a nice air to it. the central stairway is beautiful.
Cons: but the room had a smell, was 20m2 instead of 30m2 advertised on booking (other sites state 20 for the same) and apparently only twin rooms are decently surfaces. in the evening there are questionable people on the street of the hotel. The 2nd floor has a flight of stairs after the elevated for some rooms
Pros: Located very centrally, and very nice and friendly staff!
Pros: We were biking the EuroVelo 6 and the location and bike storage was excellent . Nice town and enjoyable stay
Pros: Excellent, cute hotel. The owner lady Valerie was very helpful and always on sight. Our dog was welcome and could stay for free.
Pros: History and price for value
See hotel page Modernity, comfort, friendliness, and top-of-the-range services and facilities. Youll find all of this at The Originals Boutique, Hotel Arianis Sochaux, Montbliard East. This three-star establishment managed by Delphine Duriaux will meet all your expectations with its 68 rooms, gourmet restaurant, three seminar rooms, and its location in Sochaux, close to the major transport routes across the Doubs.
Cons: The city
Pros: Good breakfast, clean room, decent bathroom.
Cons: The noise of the traffic in the street outside at night; the chambermaid entering the room without knocking in the morning!
Pros: The family room is two rooms combined into one which was perfect for a family with 2 kids. The beds are comfortable and staff friendly. There is a pizza place nearby to grab a quick bite.
Cons: Not too many dining options.
Pros: The staff is kind, the room is big and comfortable. Good restaurant and good breakfast
Cons: The room was not extremely clean
Pros: Well suited for a business travel, since everything important was there: + Friendly personnel and easy check-in/out + Clean rooms + Stable WiFi + Proximity to motorway
Cons: - Blanket was too thick - No heating in the bathroom - It's nice that there is a small fitness room but it's rather basic - an easy investment to upgrade the room significantly would be to have some weights (with which one can do lots of different flexible exercises)
Pros: Staff friendly and helpfull
Cons: Advertised restaurant with Michelin star chef was open only for Sunday lunch
Pros: Excellent evening meal and breakfast. The very simple room was well maintained and could be kept cool.Comfortable bed .Basic ,but safe and functional, bathroom. The hotel is near the aerodrome( not near the historic centre of Montbeliard). It is only a simple hotel in a business type location, but is comfortable and good value. With a good car park ,and easy road access, it could be a base for touring the beautiful countryside of the Doubs area,
Cons: I should have been in Switzerland but had to make an unplanned landing owing to bad weather.
Pros: Very clean and simple but comfortable rooms. Really loved fresh orange juice at the breakfast :)
Cons: Internet connection was very slow, breakfast could have more options, in-room facilities could be more richer
Cons: Restaurant was not open Friday evening
Pros: Great breakfast, good coffee and freshly pressed orange juice. Excellent located for a visit to the Musée de L’Aventure PEUGEOT and/or Peugeot Factory visit. Friendly staff at the reception. Free parking.
Cons: The atmosphere in the breakfast area was a bit cool since it was all self-service.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Pros: Great place to stay along the eurovelo 6 bicycle route.
Pros: I liked the Styling ; our room was very modern and new built
Pros: The hotel have a feeling of home very sweet. Perfect place in the center and after fending the way to the park was perfect. Nice swimming pool perfect for the kids to play.
Cons: Air conditioning not cooling enough, but it was in the heatwave time.
Pros: The off street parking was spacious.
Cons: We ordered a double bed and that was not what we got, the bed was tiny, the bathroom continued the trend with a tiny shower cubicle and toilet. The doors to the rooms, would slam shut which was not ideal, as people arriving late would be taken by surprise and doors slammed through the night, sound proofing in general was terrible.
Pros: Ideal location
Cons: Sauna wasn’t working
Pros: For Montbeliard Christmas markets the location is great. There is private hotel parking in the security controlled area, although no instruction how to get to it until you are checking in.
Cons: The website and booking.com state a bar...This is a tea bar and only open in the day, not what we expected. They both also state a hairdryer...there is one hairdryer for 48 rooms, you are unlikely to get it. Our room didn't have enough towels, no apology. There are three floors, lots of stairs, no lift and no porter.
Pros: Excellent location, large room for the price, good breakfast and friendly staff. Parking on site was a huge bonus.
Pros: Good location near the centre of town. Spacious room. Nice buffet breakfast available. Bike storage available.
Pros: Location and Parking
Cons: The room was very, very far away from the reception and the hotel was not fully booked. Why wouldn't they give us a room closer to the reception? We also would have preferred later breakfast times

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff were super friendly overall and the restaurant exceeded expectations being great value.
Pros: Good location
Pros: Comfortable room breakfast was great. Air conditioning in bedroom good.
Cons: Restaurant was closed on the night we stayed.
Pros: Staff were very helpful & friendly. The room I was allocated initially was smaller than I wanted. It was changed easily to a much larger more comfortable room.
Pros: Useful as a stopover travelli ng from Italy/Switzerland back to the UK. Comfortable room, private gated parking and restaurant on site.
Cons: No air conditioning. The food in the hotel restaurant was good but the portions were so massive that we immediately felt overwhelmed and lost our appetites..The same seemed to apply to other diners, not just us, as meals were left half eaten. Cut the portion sizes, save wastage and unecessary costs!
Pros: Decent price per night considering prices in France
Cons: so toasty in the room, there was a small electric table fan but unfortunately that was just a teaser. Also pretty noisy, which we expected considering that there are always groups of teenagers or international sportsmen talking on the phone with their family back home late in the evening and one of them will always be just next door to you :))
Pros: The bed is fine. Price was good.
Cons: Everything is old.
Pros: Plenty of parking spaces and in a good location. Very comfy bed in a cosy room with ample space. This was a bonus for us as we had our 2 dogs with us and normally dog friendly hotel rooms are pretty basic and not always that great but this was not the case here.
Cons: Breakfast was limited in choice.
Pros: Staff were great. Couldn't do enough for you.
Pros: Comfy bed, good selection for breakfast, short walk to old town
Cons: Nothing bad to say
8.0 Excellent (788 reviews)
Located in Arbouans, The Originals City, Hôtel Charme et Spa, Montbéliard Sud (Inter-Hotel) is within a 5-minute drive of Church of the Sacred Heart and Peugeot Museum of Adventure. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was very nice and romantic.
Cons: They didn't clean our room in the morning although we put on the sign. And there wasn't hot water in the bathroom
Pros: Correct place for practical stays.
Cons: Service in restaurant poor, french people always have priority! We had to wait 1 hour to be served.Children not allowed in swimming pool.WiFi is not stable.Never again!
Pros: The room was very comfortable and the shower force was very good.
Cons: The Wi-Fi was on occasion very slow.
Pros: Cottage in the grounds: helpful and willing staff
Cons: Traffic noise
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, good food. The staff was friendly.
Cons: Misleading information about address of hotel, name of hotel. Also the pool was not open in the mornings. Further it was incredibly dangerous due absurd underwater sets of stone partitions. One could not swim in the pool because of these sharp partitions. Also the floor around the pool was extremely slippery. The hotel is not in Montbéliard. It is in Arbouans. None of the staff had ever heard of the ridiculous name ‘The Originals City.’ Altogether it was very hard to find. The rose wine was not good.
Pros: Spa Facilities were excellent. Rooms clean. Parking onsite.
Cons: Bath towels missing in room had to request the correct amount. Face washers / cloth were unavailable. No WiFi available in Room 54. Breakfast ran short of bowls for cereal and food on the platters ran out had to wait for someone to replenish. The accomodation was great but the issues above reduced the experience to average. If the list below was actioned the experience would be great:- 1 - Replace the existing Bath towels with something a bit more up market, these are third rate. 2 - have the WiFi available in all rooms. 3 - Breakfast is the last service you provide to your clients that are moving on, make it memorable by at least having the platters maintained ie replenish when getting low on food items.
Pros: Great location if travelling across Europe, but the whole place was a little shabby, needs a lick of paint & renovation but the beds were absolutely lovely, clean & fresh.
Cons: Overpriced for level of quality and price what we have paid in the past in France & the breakfast for 9 euros extra per person is pretty tragic. Nothing cooked like sausages or scrambled eggs, just boiled eggs which were really hard boiled. The ham had a gray colour & smelt, so we avoided that.
Pros: Nice a clean bed
Cons: Noise from the road
The ibis budget Montbéliard, the smart accommodation choice! Stay in an inviting, modern room while on your travels. Each room is designed to accommodate 1, 2 or 3 people (depending on the country) and has a shower, toilet and satellite TV - all at an aff ordable price. Kick start your day with a delicious breakfast that won't break the bank!
Pros: The beds were comfortable and spacious and the room was nice and clean free parking price - definitely value for money
Cons: The crib we requested was not waiting in the room and we had to take it from the reception and install it ourselves. We were 3 people but there were only 2 towels in the room - medium sized
Pros: WiFi was good
Cons: Basic you get what you pay for
Pros: Clean, close to the highway, comfortable and with a good price. For three persons it is great and inexpensive.
Pros: The staff in the hotel is patient and kind. He told me how to take the bus to the centre ville. Even if they doesn't have the dinner, there is another Ibis who service the dinner. The food is really delisious and there is a good view near the window. The room is clean and there is a coffee machine. The hotel is also safe enough at night.
Pros: Convenient parking. Very clean.
Cons: Only the very basic room. Had to go to desk for blow dryer
Pros: parking is available. super market and restaurants near by if you.have a car
Cons: poor breakfast, room too small, long waiting line, not enough table
Pros: Good if you need a place to sleep, that’s all.
Pros: Simple, clean and good value for the low price! I will use it again just as a sleep-over..
With a stay at Campanile Montbeliard - Sochaux in Sochaux, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Peugeot Museum of Adventure and Auguste Bonal Stadium. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Planning an event in Sochaux? This hotel has facilities measuring 538 square feet (50 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Bed broken and sink tn bathroom also broken
Cons: Staff are not friendly, not worth the money
Pros: One has to bear in mind that this is a review of a road-side hotel, so all the ratings and suchlike are given in comparison to its peers and surely not in comparison with high-end top of the line properties. This being said, the place has an exceptionally good and reasonably priced restaurant (breakfast is better than your average French breakfast, dinner is decent and the budget is moderate). The location is good if you are a business traveler and want to hit the road without struggling through city traffic. It has an appropriately sized parking lot. The rooms are pretty quiet.
Cons: Well, the heating did not work and this was an issue given the season. The room looks a bit 1990s but it is reasonably well maintained. The internet connection is limited to 2 devices per email address (but you can give any out of the blue address I suppose). If you arrive late make sure to call the property in advance because there is nobody after 1030 PM or something
Pros: Comfortable, quiet accommodation in a very handy position for Sochaux.
Cons: 1) Breakfast price! The most expensive of my trip and the most basic/sparse. 2) Wi-fi didn't work, until the morning of departure. Mentioned it to Reception, who basically shrugged her shoulders and dismissed me!
Pros: The room is of average size and satisfying. The only good thing is heating which worked perfectly.
Cons: It never look good when the receptionist is unkind at the time of arrival. That's how it was this time. However, disappointing is the degree of cleanliness. We found hair on the pillow. Also the traces of hair on the table. Below the table a bottle cap of the previous guests. On the toilet there are traces of glue. There is no toilet brush. There was old water in the coffee machine and the bottom was rusty and there were the traces of limescale. (you can see the photos) The doors were OK, but they showed signs of violent opening.
Pros: The person at check in was friendly and managed to change our room for a ground floor room. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: I have no complaints
Pros: next to the freeway
Cons: it seems older than the picture
Pros: We stayed at the hotel as a group for a roadtrip from the UK. Great location for L'aventure Peugeot with all the amenities within a close proximity. Would definitely stay again.
Pros: I loved the bed, it was very comfy.
Cons: That the WiFi signs you out even if your not active for 30 seconds. There should also be hand towels and bigger towels. For what you get for breakfast in my opinion it’s very expensive.
Pros: I liked the room, it was clean comfortable and suitably equipped for a longer stay. The sheets were changed regularly and towels were swapped when I asked for. Definitely appreciated the nice bathroom!
Cons: The car park could do with some attention. Breakfast wasn’t brilliant so I didn’t bother with that (there’s a bakery next door). The shutter was broken on the window.
Just 5 minutes from the center of Montbéliard and its château, our team is ready to welcome you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ideally located for your business trips, we are also a short walk from the Axone concert venue. The hotel has 70 air-conditioned rooms equipped with free WIFI. Our outdoor private car park is completely free. Our Le Cabriolet restaurant welcomes you for lunch and dinner until 10:30pm to help you discover our local and house cuisine.
Pros: Little choice for breakfast but fairly good (bread, marmelade, some sweet bread,... but nothing warm). Good location for stayover on business trip as it is right next to the highway. The staff is nice. Free parking. The bed was comfortble and we had a good night sleep.
Cons: The rooms were very small and outdated, but ok for one night only. We booked two rooms and in one of the rooms we could not take a shower because there was no warm water.
Pros: A simple but good breakfast. The room was small but clean.
Cons: Size of the room was smaller than expected. The bedroom was quite small.
Pros: This place is good for the business trip to PSA.
Cons: Considerng the price, facility was not good.
Pros: Very good staff, very comfortable bed excellent happily the quilt was good and an extra blanket was provided because the room was cold all through the night.
Cons: Insufficient heating especially as it was snowing heavily outside. Next room using the hair dryer ( which sounded like a maintenance man's drill ), at 05:30 in the morning. Next room occupants tried 3 times early in the morning to open the adjoining room door. Not nice sharing hotel space with bus tour customers of that ilk.
Pros: Very good price. And an IBIS is always good. Frinedly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast too. And a Buffalo Grill nearby.
Pros: Stuff very professional, flexible and attentions!
Cons: Breakfast could be better.
Pros: the airconditiong is broken in room, and the disordered management of this hotel，no signed for all payment to confirm，unsafety for finance. because I need take LGV bus to go to TGV station of montbeliard at 8 o'clock, so I have to leave from hotel very early even raining to save money，and I also do normal checking out from hotel, but hotel take more money from me after checking out 2 4 hours later，they said I eatbreakfast when I checking wiht hotel again ，,infact we never eat any breakfast of hotel, and I ask hotel check camera of hotel to double check，but they didn't check and give no answer only take 244.8€ more money from me, no be honest, this France hotel not honest
Cons: they said I eatbreakfast when I checking wiht hotel again ，,infact we never eat any breakfast of hotel, and I ask hotel check camera of hotel to double check，but they didn't check and give no answer only take 244.8€ more money from me, no be honest, this France hotel not honest
Pros: The price was ok.
Cons: The twin beds kept sliding every time one turns/moves, it was uncomfortable. There was a constant smell of the toilet all night long. The room didn't feel clean or well maintained.
Pros: There was no bottle of water and coffee or tea in the room, nowadays even in the 3-star hotel you may find cattle to boil water and make tea or coffee but there was nothing in the room. the pillow was uncomfortable.
Cons: no water and coffee and tea in the room.
Pros: Reliable Ibis.
Cons: It is located in an American-style retail park.
Hotel Bar Restaurant Du Centre is in the centre of Bart 5 km from Montbéliard.
Pros: Good and helpful staff.
Pros: The owner. A passionate cook and a character!
Cons: Too basic.
Pros: Very basic hotel but not expensive so good value for the money. Rooms were clean. Shower was great. Good location for cyclists on eurovelo. Close to bus to town.
Pros: The host is kind and very agreeable.
Cons: Basic facilities. It's simple but ok.
Pros: Friendly staff, free parking
Cons: Floors and bathroom not clean. Wifi not working. No real coffee (powder coffee with milk powder). Everything very old. It is okay if you just want a bed for a night. But don’t expect more because the hotel is not in use anymore apart from the rooms that can be booked.
Located in Etupes, Hotel restaurant la vieille ferme is within a 5-minute drive of Peugeot Museum of Adventure and Church of the Sacred Heart. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The Pool
Cons: There was no one to greet us at reception. There was dog poo under our outside table. The restaurant was closed on Friday night. Breakfast was arranged for us at 7.30 but no one turned up to serve it. With better management this could be a good little hotel.
Pros: Great restaurant down the road - La Table Comtoise - 25460 Étupes, France.
Cons: We arrived a little later than our advised ETA, there was a note pinned to the reception door saying the person had had to leave. It then gave a list of 6 names and room numbers. The note stated our room number was 101, we couldn't find 101, all other rooms were low 2 digit numbers. There was no room 101, we eventually found room 001 in a different building and assumed this was the room. Breakfast was advised from 07:30 to 9:30 but there was no breakfast the next morning and no-one around from the B&B. Many guests not happy. We found a Patisserie just down the road.
Pros: The restaurant food was wonderful. Its a 5⭐ pool in a 2⭐ hotel.
Cons: No dislikes
Pros: wonderfull people made us feel right at home
Pros: Swimming Pool, somewhere to store our bikes, simple restaurant, friendly staff
Cons: Our room was like a sauna and as no net curtains couldn’t sleep with window open
Pros: Most welcome was the excellent, heated swimming pool. As for the restaurant, there’s both good and bad. First the food – good. An interesting selection of fresh locally sourced dishes with a variety of sauces for you to match your choice with – however, if you make the wrong pairing, your waitress will probably look at you like you’re a schoolkid who has just cocked up a basic arithmetic question before politely but firmly pointing you in the right direction. Yep – personal experience! For a more detailed review check out https://undercoverofthewrite.wordpress.com/ where this is the first of a series of articles called 'The Carcassonne Odyssey'
Cons: The bad? We didn’t ask for or were offered a drinks menu since we were only going to drink beer on this occasion. Big mistake! When we got the bill we found the beer was the most expensive, at 7 Euros for 500cl I had experienced since Chicago O’Hare airport! Also, when we got the (humongous) bill, we noticed that we had been charged for the children’s desserts which we supposed to be included in the cost of the kid’s meal.
Pros: Fantastic stop over from roscoff to Switzerland. Swimming pool was lovely, food tasty. Accommodation spacious, tired decor but great value for money.
Pros: Dinner at La Vieille Ferme was amazing! Wonderful food ... Great prices ... Huge servings!
Cons: Rooms are small, but the pool and surrounding areas make up for this.
Pros: Very nice people, wanted to do everything you asked for.
Cons: Small bed, old bathroom, all a bit uncomfortable
Pros: It's like a motell. Quick and easy but nothing special.
Cons: Beakfast could have been better. If it was upgraded it could however be a really nice place.
