Very nice room. Stayed in a 5 person family room and it had more than enough space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Buffet breakfast was nice, a standard European selection of meats, cheese and cereal. TV was about 13-15 inches and had 1 English-speaking channel but that is not a deal breaker. TV could be a little bigger so that it would be easier to see from across this large room.
New and big rooms, very comfortable, we are really satisfied and we suggest this hotel to all. Nothing
In very good condition. They must have just renovated it. Beautiful woodwork. Our room was the largest we've stayed in Europe. Located in the countryside, but stategically between Rothenburg, Dinkelbuhl with Swabish Hall and Nurnberg within an hour. Breakfast is basic. Nothing fancy, but enough to eat. Dinner was very good. My husband and son loved the baked pork covered in cheese. I had Schnitzel which was tasty. After dinner, we were serenaded by our desk clerk/waiter. He played guitar well and had a wonderful voice. Very pleasant stay after walking around Rothenburg all day. A little tricky to find the turn north after exiting the Autobahn 6. Need a good map to know the towns on the same road as the hotel. In the town of Dorfgutingen, look for a sign to Rodenweiler, turn there and then Aurach-Vehlberg is after that. When you see the Autoban running parallel on your left, you are on the right road.
Very friendly and helpfull staff, nice rooms, tasty food, I do recommend.
The Hotel is brand new and the rooms are bright and large. Comfortable beds. Great food. Good location to visit Wuertzburg, Rothenburg and Nuernberg, all within one hour or less. It was difficult to find in the evening since there are not many street signs. Bring a GPS
It is very new. Furnishings and hotel are very nice. Great value for the money. Could use a phone or a clock in the room.
very friendly staff and nice hotel
A great hotel with really nice rooms. The staff where very serviceminded.
There is a restaurant at the hotel and it has wonderful food. They also have a breakfast buffet that was good too.
Nice location, close to Romantic Road, newness, helpful staff, spacious rooms.
Highly satisfied Nothing
It was in a great location and very quiet. Having the restaurant and market so close was also a plus. The only drawback was that our room smelled like smoke. We asked for non-smoking, but it still had the old, musty smoke smell.
I stayed there before and I liked it now as ever. Unfortunately, the shopping and dinning area (separate building) burned down. I hope they will be able to restore it soon. Luckily, the nearby restaurant (in Shell gas station, walking distance) is quite good, although I missed the old one.
Large room, good facilities. Good value self-service restaurant for dinner and breakfast. I did not see a lift to upper floor. Not a problem for us, but people with a walking disability would need to order a ground floor room. You might like to check this with the hotel. We did not look at your website reviews before booking.
excellent food even in a very late hour, very helpful and friendly staff, excellent location (right off A6)
Perfect cleanness,effficient arrangement,comfortable beds,nice milieu No objections
Comfortable room that was very quiet (a lot of soundproofing keeps out the nearby motorway noise). Great food at good prices in the market area.
Nice service, no additional charges for small children, good breakfast, no rush to leave in the morning We had to wait till 6 p.m. to get to the hotel.
It is conveniently located and easy to find. Price is reasonable and service provided gives good value for money.
Beds are very confortables The breakfast is served in the hotel entry area, which is a very tide and unappropiated space.
Big room, very clean and quiet, and excellent service. The hotel has parking and internet access, although in its web page says the opposite. The reception closes early, and you are forced to keep your room key with you all the day if you are planning to arrive late. Pay attention to this fact the day of arrival, to get there in time for the check-in.
This was a truly excellent hotel. We contacted the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving late due to traffic. So after a long stressful days driving it was good to arrive at such a great hotel; location, cleanliness, quality of the breakfast the friendly and helpful staff all made for an great visit and as we arrived late we decided to stay two nights. We could not fault this hotel and will certainly stay again Faultless
We had a great stay here. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, right outside the walls. It is a small town so it was a very quick walk to the center of town. The free parking was also a big plus. The room was nice and good sized. The breakfast was good as well. Nothing!
This is a very reasonable hotel for what they offer. Absolute value.. I would recommend their hotel over their guesthouse- newer and cleaner. Located literally just outside the outer perimeter of this relatively small town. Free parking is a bonus. Strangely served cereal in almost flat plates and not bowls as one might expect. (I am nitpicking for lack of other negatives)
The room was excellent. Very spacious and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Good location, large room, good price, excellent breakfast. No
Close to historic walled city of Rothenburg, but not in walled city (didn't have to deal with hordes of tourists. Clean, modern inside, outside designed to look older. Parking behind the hotel. Some staff were a little formal and stiff. Others were not however.
Its proximity to the town (easy walking distance), the friendly, courteous staff It was a little bit noisy, being on a main road
Good room, spacious, very clean, everything new. Good location, very close to one of entrace gates to the old town, just a few minutes walk from the old city hall. Breakfast somewhat limited, just basics (a couple of bread types, cheese and ham, eggs). No cakes, candies, etc. Our room was close to the elevator and stairs access of the floor, so there was some noise. This was just a problem in the first night, when there was a group of noisy teenagers in the same floor. In the second night they were gone and we didn't have problems anymore.
fast internet in the lobby no internet in the room
Perfect location within the city walls to walk around and see everything. The best Xmas store in the world is next door. Even though our room was very comfortable the room had an odd (or old)odor about it, as if the windows had never been opened.
location excellent no coffee/tea service in the room
Good location, good facility. I think this hotel itself is very good, but compare to another hotel in this city, it is a bit expensive, cost performance is not good. The other was much better for me. If tea maker is equipped, very useful.
excellent location. breakfast was very good, service was very good did not have in room coffee and tea
It's staff and location
The customer service was excellent. I had an outing planned for one day of my trip and the packed a meal for me to take with me that was wonderful. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The room was amazing and furnished beautifully with antiques. I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel indulges you in the medieval times with its classic design, furniture and decoration, and also it matches well with the place Rothenburg. It's a very romantic place to stay.
Everything about this hotel is very good. Could not fault it at all.
very good location
location, sitting area, piano music with coffee, parking valet, large bathroom, view no free wifi, paying for breakfast,
Location was wonderful. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and the room was cozy. The shower was a little awkward.
friendly hotel staff, good breakfest
most of the staff was very nice. The room was very clean and cozy. In a great location.
Spacious rooms, excellent location, good quality breakfast One bedroom smelt of tobacco smoke
Absolutely splendid hotel, and wonderful staff. as a non smoker, would prefer if towels did not smell like cigarettes. but, still would highly recommend this hotel.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts, helpful with suggestions. Comfortable, large room...unaware other guests staying in hotel until breakfast. Excellent location within town walls. Would recommend highly for stay in Rothenburg.
The location was excellent and in walking distance from everything
Good for visiting the city
Great location near center of town, had off street parking No one to help with luggage
The location right outside of the Rothenberg gate was excellent. The bed was very uncomfortable...worst in all my travels. The front desk staff were too busy to help us, except for handing us a map...that was about it. The breakfast was great and the servers were excellent.
Every room is decorated differently, like a modern B&B. There was a great breakfast buffet (included) and a wonderful gourmet restaurant (also an Italian one which I didn't try). It is also very conveniant being being about 200 meters from one of the city gates. Everything was great
Very nice place to stay. Rooms were very large. Comfortable. Close to the city center. The price increase for the second night, after reservation were already made at a different price. Would have much higher rating overall if the price did not increase quite a bit and there was one very rude staff member.
The hotel was convenient, cute and with very friendly customer oriented staff. There was a minor negative point with a little dust on the floor under the bathroom sink. The only reason I mention this is so the hotel staff can correct this situation in the future. I still rated cleanliness excellent for this review.
The Mittermeier Restaurant was excellent. The breakfast buffet, which was included, was delicious. The dinner that we experienced was gourmet excellence.
Before booking at this hotel I had viewed some pictures of the rooms.the room I stayed had nothing to do with the pictures I had seen.it definetly belonged to a 2 stars hotel and not to a 4 star one.when I complained ,I was told that the room I had booked was a cheep one of 99 euro and they had upgraded it and they had given me a bigger one with a third bed because I was travelling with my 4 years son (I had informed about the child and I had not asked for extra bed).comparing to the other rooms I saw ,the one I was given was poor and cheep decorated and it had nothing to do with the traditional hotel I had seen.they probably thought that 99 euros were not enough for a decent room or they wanted to book directly to them.
Thee Management and Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Everything was done to accomodate my Disabled friend. Thanks to all. No Main ceiling Lights?
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good breakfast My friend's bedroom appeared to be above the kitchen and she said it was noisy
The restaurant and breakfast were both very good. The heating was a tad ineffectual, the restaurant was closed for dinner whilst we were there and the internet service did not work at all.
The restaurant was excellent. The bed was not comfortable.
Excellent food Slow service at the desk
It is a charming hotel in a romantic city. A welcoming staff and a good restaurant in the heart of the city. The parking lot is two blocks far from the hotel.
Dinner menu was good, including menu for children. Breakfast buffet was included and had a nice variety. Dogs are allowed (6 Euro per day) -- even big dogs like our Boxer -- in the rooms and in the restaurant. Parking was relatively inexpensive (6 Euro) per day (approx 200m walk from hotel).
Breakfast buffet was great, great location, Old world charm. Water pressure and temperature of the water during a shower was a real challenge.
Very friendly staff and excellent atmodphere
Location was ideal. Parking options available through the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean.
Front staff is very kindness. Comfortable big room, quiet position, great restaurant for dinner. .Safety parking at hotel garage.
How friendly and personable the staff was. They did everything to make our stay comfortable.
Excellent Retaurant food and breakfast
Friendly staff ! It was perfect !
Wonderful large room in center of the old town. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
the hotel is beautiful and is very centrally located, making it a wonderful place to stay for a visit to Dinkelsbuhl the staff was not very friendly
Really enjoyed staying a historical building. It is amazing such an old one is still alive "in service". Only if there would be a lift, however, we understand why there wasn's.
Excellent location, beautiful, noteworthy historic building with updated rooms, gracious dining room where an ample breakfast is served. Guests should know that parking is off-site and at an extra cost.
The room was much bigger than we expected - more like a suite with an entry hall, full size shower room and a sitting area with couch. The hotel is quite quaintly decorated which we found to be a unique touch. You really get a feel for the history of the hotel from staying there. Location was great being on the main square of the town. There is a daily night-watchman tour that departs from just across the road and during the day, there is a horse and carriage tour that departs from the building next door. As there is limited parking in the town, we reserved a car park and the staff kindly offered to park the car in the garage themselves and retrieve it the next day for us. For light sleepers, be aware that the main church is directly opposite the hotel and the church bells can be quite loud and go on for some time. This did not bother us as the location and views of the town more than made up for this.
The location was good and the rooms very spacious. There was no one to help with our bags so we had to carry them ourselves two flights of steps. It was 92 degrees outside and our room temperature was 105 degrees with no air or ventilation. By far the worst night on the whole trip. We had paid for valet parking and found our car on the street parked illegally and unlocked late at night.
Simply fantastic Old Hotel :) We will come back there for sure!
I loved the friendliness of the hotel staff, the hours for check-in (up to 2200), the modern spacious room, the new bathroom, the location of the hotel, close to the marketplace and the garden area. This hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. NO
The hotel lobby room and dining area is lovely and very comfortable, the bathroom in our room was beautiful. The decor of previous centuries is enchanting. And the location is superb.
Wonderful location in a beautiful old walled town. Great shopping in interesting venues. Lovely countryside.
The atmosphere is really great My hotel room did not have a minibar.
Really in down town. Staff very friendly and realy life their lifes for the hotel. I would say that the breackfast could be better but was reasonable. The hotel inside and outside is marvelous... As I sad before the breakfast was ok
It was absolutely authenic and the service and accomodations were superb.
Old. but very comfortebale, disigner hotel. I like very much this place - the hotel and the city. no
The hotel renovations were perfect. They updated the rooms without taking away the 13th century ambiance of the building. The rooms are huge with bare wood floors. The hotel location couldnt be better.Close to the marktplatz. And if you love italian food, be sure to eat at Roma's. Be prepared to wait for a table, but the food is spectacular. The breakfast buffet is described as extensive, but it wasnt!
This is a very charming hotel, but our favorite part was the breakfast - the best we had on our trip. No.
The location was perfect, close to the town center and the staff was great- they spoke excellent English and were able to assist with directions. Not one thing!
This is an exellant hotel offering 5 stars quality. Located in the very hard of Rothenbourg. A brand new hotel build in a 800 years of historical building. Very nicely decorated rooms. Clean and confortable. One of the best we stayed in Germany. Hope to stay there again soon.
The hotel was beautifully furnished. I very much liked the fact that it was converted from an old building of over 500 years old. If you look at the hotel website you can see the furnishings of each of the rooms, which are each of a different style. I stayed at the Golden Apple room which overlooked the church and the street (very quite at night as the town feels pretty much desserted after dark). The bathroom facilities were excellent. The young lady who was at the front desk was great and was extremely friendly and helpful (sorry I do not know her name), but she made it quite a great stay for us. Highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide selection (you order from the menu). Instructions for using the internet service was not very clear. You need to get a cable from the front desk as there is no wireless. Not a problem if I had asked at first.
Very very comfortable. Extremely friendly staff.
Even though the breakfast ended at 1030, and we were late checking out, the hotel had the cook wait for us, until we checked out at 1230, and then surprised us with a delicous breakfast.. Amazing! We never expected such generous and thoughtful service. Exceeds Expectations! nothing.
it's a perfect compromise modern/medieval. So elegant and confortable. it's also brand new, just open a few months ago.
The location was perfect and we had a great view. The beds were not very comfortable, but this hotel was a great place to stay and I plan to stay there again.
If you could provide more pillows and wash clothes - it would have been perfect...
The children had a great time playing with the Wii and the pool table, our room was huge with fabulous views the staff were very friendly. We would have liked a shower in the bathroom.
The hotel was convenient to walking in the town. The kids liked the two bedroom feature. The bathroom was shared between the two rooms. If we had only booked for two people we were wondering if the bath would have been shared. There was no mention of this in the information. The hotel was undergoing some work. It was not noisy, but everything was outdated and not in an antique way.
The breakfast was fresh and the view from the dining room was so worth staying here. The bed was comfortable...I have fybromyalgia, so this was important to me. The hotel is very central and while we had issues with the cleanliness of the hotel, the location was great. Parking is close by and easily attainable, and private for hotel guests. We were able to leave our car while we walked through the town after we checked out. The bathroom was awful...cramped, no proper shower, dusty and non-private...it's just a cupboard with a sliding door. The decor did not match and the color scheme was ghastly. The silk flowers on the table were old and dirty. The skirting on the bed was stained and looked old. It needs a lot of work and attention. The dining room buffet area was being renovated while we had breakfast.
Both exterior and interior design is great. The hotel restaurant does not open for lunch and dinner during our stay.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself is very picturesque. One morning the bread was moldey and the fruit salad everyday was poor quality (canned). The rest of the meal (and stay) were just fine.
we really enjoyed our stay and even extended it for 2 days. The staff was excellant. The location was perfect. The room was very good. The only negative -there was no wi-fy in the rooms.
Excellent rooms and antiques in the reception areas.
Location, breakfast and view from breakfast room was fantastic. Also, the hotel staff were amazingly friendly. When the gate we needed to get through was closed and we had to find another, the manager met us in his car and had us follow him there! The only think I didn't like were the beds. They were a little hard but everything else was so fantastic that it more than made up for the beds.
The location of the hotel and the view from the room were great They were in the process of renovating the hallway
The rooms are more than OK. Excelent restaurant. Top quality.People where very friendly. Wireless work very well.
Staff was delightful and friendly, spoke English, and the restaurant was divine. We would have eaten there twice save that they were closed on Sundays and Mondays when we were there. Their suggestions however were great for restaurants close by. Rooms were pristine, bath extremely comfortable, beds good. We were in room 26 which appeared charming and spacious (which it was) but a busy road ran between the buildings (which wasn't obvious at first) and was very noisy (like train running through noisy). Also, because the room was stuffy, we needed the windows open which made it worse. I would have liked to have been informed about this and given a choice. The room itself was beautiful and roomy and very comfortable.
The location of the hotel and its great tasting food are excellent. Nice place to stay and enjoy the area. Staff seemed a bit rushed and uncaring.
Nice place, superb dinner, Not really helpful in assistance and help, when I asked to print some pages from a travel guide, which the Hotel is even associated with.
friendliness of everyone - very clean - excellent food -
Excellent reception at the desk and convenient to all interesting sights. Easy street parking for 2 euros every 24 hours, and good breakfast in dining room.
The staff was responsive and nice, the spa/pool area is beautiful and the food was superb! The only thing I did not like was the 20 Euro fee to put a crib into the room.
I liked the 400 year old buildings, the excellent location in this town, the rooms that were tastefully furnished and the hospitality of the staff. No, everything was fine.
Pool & spa were excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly Located on a busy town street so a little noisy. Our bedroom was a little small
This hotel is ideally situated in the heart of this historic smaller town allowing a traveller to park the car and wander through the shops, experience a great meal and explore the past - in which the hotel is a good start. The open sherry flask is not a good idea - providing a 'nightcap' was a thoughtful touch but I only drink something that I open myself or in a restaurant.
Located in the town, close to restaurants & shops. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of space in the apartment to relax. Very quiet - couldn't hear other guests. It's a minor point, but cushions on the leather sofa would be nice to make it more comfortable.
Very modern and trendy, but still in an historic setting. It's a thing, but we dislike German hotel beds (too hard) and pillows (too soft and flat) but this was common to all German hotels.
We had an amazing view of the valley from our room. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of warmth. The breakfast was okay but not up to standards of hotels of this class that we'd stayed in before. They had only one person working in the breakfast room and although she did a pretty good job she was so busy that she probably only did half the job she could have with another person's help.
The rooms were wonderful, the staff was very helpful and the location was fantastic.
The best hotel of all romantic route. Giant room, excelent internet, excelent employees, excelent position and a beautiful garden with a soberb view. Everything magnificent. One of the best hotels.
Wonderful hotel in ancient building, fabulous location next to best sites. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Surprisingly easy to get to once you get used to driving down narrow medieval streets. We were given a terrific room. Nothing- a highlight of our trip.
The room was awesome, with a nice view. Bathroom had a nice tub. The breakfast was good and the hotel is really cozy.
The location was ideal. Remote enough to be quiet but yet right in the old town of Rothenburg and easy walking distance to everything. Very large accommodations for a family of 4 or 5 with a ping pong table for children to enjoy. Breakfast room with a beautiful view.
Wonderful friendly staff! Great breakfast with amazing view from dining room, unique and beautiful room, walking distance to everything, very close to Market Square, parking next to front door twin mattresses on that beautiful double bed, no shower door or curtain
Warm and luxury hotel, feel very comfortable. Delicious breakfast.
The hotel was fantastic! It was by far the best hotel I've seen for under 300 euros a night, and the rates were far below that.
The silence of the room and the breakfast.
Location was magic. Breakfast looking over the wall of Rothenberg was amazing.
All of Hotel staff was very kind even for family like us with small children.
I liked the freindliness of the staff. The food in the restaurant was very good.
Unfortunatley it looks the sound proofing features of the room is not so good. We could hear the conversations or tv sounde of the next rooms.
I liked everything. Very nice welcomin. The breakfast was good. The room clean, spacious, very classy. None
Good food Squeaking beds made sleep difficult
the staff was helpful and polite but the bed was very uncomfortable. Also the housekeeping team starts knocking at your door early in the morning.
Very convenient to the Town Square and the Christmas Market shopping.
Wonderful, friendly staff - so helpful with all sorts of things, great location, good restaurant, very well cleaned, nice bathroom
People were extremely friendly and the room were clean and very old world German. Have to pay extra for an egg ? Breakfast could be a little more expansive for the cost. Hotel garage is a couple blocks from Hotel.
Fantastic hotel, very clean & located in the heart of Rothenburg. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and the staff was very helpful, courteous & professional.
Hotel was quiet, room spacious, furnishings and location excellent. Rothenburg itself was fascinating, the people friendly, and a photographer's delight. Room temperature too hot at night. (a problem we found in other hotels also). We would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities.
Wonderful room overlooking the towns medieval walls. Was given new room which was very modern and warm. We visited in November. Reception staff were polite but could have been a little friendlier and warmer I thought. But we had been staying in local Gasthaus in Germany on this trip run by friendly familys.
the ambience of the hotel when first seeing it from the outside was great the staff were friendly the location perfect for our visit
big room it's too expensive compares with local hotel price that we found from at information center, kinda cheated. The room is very clean, confortable with big bathroom, but no breakfirst, the view was good, and if you can accept this price, I think it's ok to stay there.
Good location. Free parking but space limited. This should be reclassified as 3 star. It does not provide dinners and breakfast was mediocre and not comparable with other 3* hotels I stayed at on my trip. Room facilities are only basic (no bathroom toiletries, no paper/pen, not even a 'do not disturb' label to hang outside door). One does not expect such rationing at a so-called 4* establishment.
Great location. Easy to find. None.
THe Prinzhotel was excellent in more than one way. It is well located within the city wall, close distance to the center and one can just walk all around even at night. The staff was very nice and helpful, they were asking for me when I did not show up for breakfast till the last minute. They wanted to make sure that I do get breakfast before they close, that was very thoughtful. Also, the rooms are very cosy with nice furniture and windows you can open. I really liked this hotel and will surely return there for Christmas.
Charming hotel adjacent to the old wall. Nice view and newly decorated room. Close to all attractions but still in a quiet location. No breakfast. But there are several bakery nearby.
Very clean, in a great location, and overall nice. The beds though two twins pushed together we're comfortable and sheets were very clean. Very little parking! We got there about 8 at night and the parking was full (they maybe have a dozen spots in front of the hotel. You can find parking but if you get there later just know you will most likely be driving around to find a place in the street. Secondly, WIFI iSN'T COMPLIMENTARY . They have three separate plans, one hour, two Hours or 24 hours that is around 20 something euro's. Beware of it list
friendliness and service readiness of staff
Everything was superb - from the friendly initial greeting until the end of our stay. We stayed in the new section of the hotel and the rooms were very large and simply charming. We could not fault it. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent value and the breakfast was fantastic. Brilliant location as well. Do yourself a favour! Could not fault anything!
Atmosphere, staff, free wifi Room a little small
Erica, the hotel manager was an angel. She accomodated our every need, including preparing a sack breakfast for us so that we could depart early in the morning to make our flight connections in Frankfurt. The hotel it self is also very classy.
The staff were very nice, helpful, always with a smile on their face. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was good too. There was no lift. And we preferred to have a bath and shower. We only had a shower.
Freindly staff, very clean, good food and a very very enjoyable experience. . absolutely nothing
Excellent room, with a taste of the old town. Excellent location from the town center. Computer right outside our room. Excellent service and staff. Nothing, excellent in all categories
The staff was very helpful and made us feel at home and welcome. The entire place oozed hospitality and medevial history. No complaint. I'll book there again.
Great location, very nice staff, lovely rooms The rooms in the old section aren't as nice as the new section, but strangely cost more.
atmosphere, food no
Very convenient to include the underground parking. The hotel is in walking distance of everything in the Altstadt. Easy to depart and get on to the Autobahn.
This hotel was easy to get to. It had large rooms and a modern bathroom. Onsite parking was available. The ease of registration and paying. meal was not included in the price though this was minor though.
Location We had seperate beds. Would have been nice to have the option of a double bed.
Location was great to the center of town and to get by foot. Upset that they didn't post the fee for the dogs on the website instead of saying "charges may be applicable".
traveling trough Breakfast
Very quaint hotel in a good location. Nice staff and very clean.
The Hotel was great for an overnighter with a family of 4 to the beautiful city of Rothenburg. The room and the bathroom was a nice size for 4. I think we enjoyed the location and staff the most. Everyone was friendly and the Hotel was minutes away for the Markt Square, but not on a major walk way. Still trying to get used to the beds! A little hard for me.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with another couple and they put us next to each other with a shared terrace. We spent every eveing out there enjoying the quite and the wine.
excellent facilities and staff. good condition of room.
A very beautiful hotel that is modern, clean and yet historically preserved. Our rooms were as nice as any I have stayed in throughout Germany. There was WLAN thoughout the hotel, however it was not free as many hotels provide today. None
Postion and cleanliness
It was an all around great place, except for parking in the inner city, but can easily be arranged without any issues Stay was too short
Very large unique distinctive rooms.
very clean, comfortable and a friendly staff. the breakfast buffet was excellent,, too.
The staff was excellent and the food in the restaurant was also very good. The beds are really very firm and I had a hard time sleeping comfortably.
The staff is wonderful. The location spectacular. The food 5-star. No!
Everything. Great staff. Great food. Great room. Great location. We will return. no
This was the best hotel of our Germany trip! Everything about it was wonderful - location, rooms, service, staff, breakfast buffet. There was nothing that wasn't just adorable about this hotel. Attention to every detail. Andrea at the front desk was great and even gave us a Schneeballen gift when we left. We would recommend this hotel in a second and return if we were to return to Rothenburg. Nothing. Everything was fantastic.
Location in the centre was excellent. Parking was limited but acceptable given the location.
hotel sataff and the location of the hotel
Three of us had 3 rooms and spent 3 nights. What's not to like about a hotel that was built in the 13th century and still includes all the modern conveniences. The rooms were spacious, clean, and in great shape. Breakfast was also great and the staff was very helpful. Thank God they wisked the car off to some parking place and returned it on command - since the town is ancient with streets that weren't built for an A6 Audi station wagon. It is right in the middle of this great town, so no need to drive or hike a long distance to see it all. The keys for the room doors are relics of another age - hard to get to work; but a minor inconvenience in the scheme of things.
