10.0 Excellent
Pros: we liked the breakfast - fresh cheese, ham, cherries, very good tea or coffee. There was a swimming pool 30m from the room which was very refreshing after whole day trips. Very nice view to Mont Ventoux and the city Montbrun les Bains directly from the terrace. Le Deffends de Redon was a good starting point for trips to the beautiful places nearby
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the place is not easy to find but have a great view. Mrs. Laurence is a wonderful host. you feel like in our own home,
Cons: the bathroom was shared.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nice view over the village. Good Wi-fi. Friendly dog.
Cons: Worst first: there was a camera in the bedroom!!! We were not informed about it nor asked for permission. Strangely enough in some bedrooms it wasn’t even facing the entrance but the bed... what an awful experience and a very uncomfortable stay. This is illegal!!! The landlady has two categories of guests - some she likes but dare you if she doesn’t like you (and she didn’t like us because we discovered the camera...)... no greetings for breakfast, no friendly word, the food smashed in front of us with a sour face - one felt extremely unwelcome. Even my 14 year old daughter was treated badly - come on, she’s a child. Booking confirmation came with “rooms has a kitchen, fridge etc”. Well - there was access to a communal outside kitchen (which was disgustingly filthy), but it is only a small room with not even windows to open. The toilet didn’t have a door so everyone else had to leave the building if one was using it. Loads of insects in the room, like huge spiders. Way too expensive for what you get - as it isn’t a holiday flat as one might expect while booking. Too avoid. It’s an awful place thanks to the moody and unprofessional landlady. Could be nice with an other owner.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location.
Cons: We were surprised to find out that the owner does not accept credit cards...

Pros: A charming couple run the the B&B, which is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by lavender fields (we were about a week to early to see them blossom that far up north though). Pros: Hotel L’Oustau de la Font after several weeks in the city was an oasis in the largest of deserts . The room was perfect but , it was it’s location in Reilhanette that held all the charm for me . What a delightful little village ! If you cycle it’s close to Mont Ventoux but , it sits amongst fields upon fields of lavender and the road east through the George is magnificent .

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staying at Château de la Gabelle has been an amazing experience. This little family-run castle is located on top of an hill in the Provençal countryside just a 10' drive away from Sault, lavender's main capital. The structure was very lovely and well kept, there is a nice dehors with some tables where you can enjoy the meals provided by the staff or just enjoy the view on the hills. We really loved the location, being that extremely quiet and positively isolated from the rush we are used to living in the city. Our room had a nice bench on the outside where we enjoyed having dinner with some takeaway pizzas we ordered in the nearby village of Sault. The staff was really nice, make sure to check out their boutique, they sell some products made with the lavender they produce, we loved and bought the shower gel!
Cons: The average cleanliness of the room was good, although we found that the bedding had some very visible stains along with the window's curtains.
