The location is great - close to the autovia, and less than 5 minutes away from a huge shopping mall that has a Carrefour. We stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 6 (the two of us plus 4 small children) - and it was only 99 euros, a fantastic price. We bought our dinner and breakfast food at Carrefour and brought it back to the hotel and ate it in the apartment. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient and spoke good English. The apartment kitchen included a microwave and dishwasher. The couch in the living room was not all that comfortable to sit on, since the back of it was more like a headboard (the couch can be turned into a bed). I could only turn on one of the four burners; good thing we didn't need to cook an entire meal otherwise with only one burner it would've gone very slowly. And they requested that we take out our own garbage the next morning. But you can't beat the price!
The bed in all rooms is a sofa+bed. The keys are quite dificult to use. There was no cork for the bathtube, this made imposible to have a bath.
Nice price for a night stopover if you don't want to go into the city Bed was a sofa that turned into a bed. Not comfortable.
It was very close to the meeting place and is still a quite new structure and well maintained.
Easy parking, internet cost 2 euro for 24hrs, good options of restaurants at walking distance. The bed is a sofa bed and is not comfortable but enough for short stay
Very silent No wireless connection available. Shower broken. No room service
Bus stops and train station very close, quiet neighborhood, cleanliness, lack of breakfast during week-ends
directly next to the conference centre. it is quite easy to reach by public transport: Metro from Toulouse city centre to Ramonville; then bus 79. they should communicate this information.
Functional for our purpose. nobody at reception on Sat and Sunday nor were there any breakfast facilities available. Got stuck outside main door without key once and had to wait for somebody to come out to get back in as didn't have key with me. Tried phoning your help number on buzzer but no answer. Also my son and daughter departed on Sun and didnt know what or where to to leave their keys.
close to motorway, air conditioned, clean, spacious.
Hotel was just ok. Room was spacious and good sized bathroom. The picture on the internet did not really show the hotel layout as it was such that the dooor to the rooms was just along a corridor that was out side. That is, immediately you step out your door, you are out side. And the stair case to the upper level rooms was not covered so when it rains (like it did when i was there), you got wet right from the reception to your room.
Rude staff, unfriendly, very tiny rooms
The owner and staff were most helful and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. The food was very good. The hotel was also convenient for Carcassonne airport.
air con didnt work, no tea and coffee facility in room no glasses no full length mirror
The building was magnificent with a lot of historical charm. The staff were firendly and helpful. The restaurant was and choice of dishes was good fot the time of year. It was not easy to find the entrance.
we liked everything! it was perfect for me, my husband and 2 year old son! no it was great!
The rooms were pretty and charming. I stayed at 3 star side and my sister in the 2 star wing. Not to much difference, 3 was bigger& high ceilings, but if budget is an issue, 2 star was a good value. We ate at the dinging room, a little $ but good food, lovely service. the village is so pretty great to wander down the little streets. This hotel worked for me because it was on my way to provence, fun to check out for a night or two. There were a couple of casual dining spots in village but be warned it is a pretty quiet little place. One pub seemed full of young kids20's. But not a lot else going on. Beautiful spot for walking the flower filled village, great photo ops!
The evening Menu was excellent and price reasonable, All the staff were helpful especially as our French was poor.
The situation within the town.
compact clean and novel hotel in a very pleasant location Soreze was a very quiet town,
Amazing building and setting. We had a 'Histoire' room which was a bit small.
Fabilouse place to be, abbey transformedinto nice hotel in big landscaping Staff was very poor, not hotel minded, my reservation was not made upon arrival, lot of facilities were not possible due a wedding that was going on in the hotel.Room was ery hot, needed a standing fan.Becaue of the wedding wasnot ossible to make reservation in restaurant, next day it was closed, staff did not inform about and did not care!!!!!! Due festival in the village lot of noise until 12.30 at night. After that noise from the kitchen. Next da at 6.15 am I woke up from the garbage truck who was emptiing the garbageof the kitchen. Very disepointed since hotel has such potential to have a great stay.
We loved the Abbaye...basic clean rooms that are well priced. We stayed in the 3 star rooms which were a good size, but apparently the 2 star are very small (2 of our group stayed in one of these rooms). We were very fortunate to have a Medieval Festival being held in the Abbaye grounds while we were there, the children loved it...so did the adults!
the area is very nice, romantic lake, poor commercial facilities, restaurants, etc
Lovely location with very friendly relaxed staff. Food very good and varied at a reasonable charge. Rooms comfortable and clean. It was not a problem to us but there is no lift and there are 3 floors, could be difficult for some elderly people.
Location is ideal for exploring the scenic, historic, and beautiful countryside and medieval villages between Toulouse and Carcassonne. The forest-park and lake of St. Ferreol just across the street were just lovely. Continental breakfast buffet (included) was varied and delicious. Very friendly staff. Good hotel restaurant with regional specialties (although we did not eat there). A room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) with one queen bed and a bunk bed was cramped. Bathroom was small, and had no shower curtains. Compared to country Gites and Auberges we've seen in France the price was a bit high. Finding St. Ferreol and the nearby town of Revel at night via a spider's web of small country roads can be a challenge.
We requested rooms overlooking the lake when we booked and our wish came true. A nice touch when there are not too many rooms with such a view. We were late arriving but having phoned in earlier to say we would be late the restaurant was kept opened. Much appreciated after a nine hour journey. We were not rushed and the dinner was very good. Poor breakfast
A nice place to spend an evening after a long drive with the family. Lovely location overlooking the lake and very relaxed.
Quiet, nice view of the lake, within walking distance of the Canal du Midi gardens and restaurants. Reception very nice and willing to assist me with my poor French. Rooms are large although dated. The rate was reflective of the condition though, I felt I received a good value. Pictures online were not accurate, hotel is quite run down, no air conditioning which was miserable for my daughters in the upper bedroom. Full prix fare dinner not served on Sundays. Grounds not maintained and pool was dirty.
Spacious room, lovely view of the lake, excellent restaurant.
Beautiful location. Our meal was excellent value for money and we would strongly recommend this hotel. Friendly staff and a very pleasant room.
