The bathroom door was hard to close and the bathroom didn't appear to be very clean. Hairs left on the shower wall from previous guest. Not much of a breakfast either. Won't stay here again.
This hotel room was comfortable, spacious and clean. There are many restaurants nearby and it is easy access from or to Denver International Airport. There was some noise in the middle of the night that woke me, but when you have 300 people in one place, things can happen. Free breakfast in the am is always a nice start.
i liked it cuz was good price, was clean, good channels in the cable and the continental breakfast was good enough not complain, they cleaned good the room the 4 days that we stay there worth
I cant believe they charged us for another night stay to our card just out of the blue when they totally weren't supposed to at all
This hotel shows its old age. Sidewalks to rooms were very dirty, as was the parking lot. Swimming pool tile was dirty.
Not worth the money I paid, but a nice location close to Aurora's I-225. Cleaning staff did not return items we forgot in the hotel room, so make sure any items you accidentally leave in the room are items you expect to never see again. Good complimentary breakfast in the morning.
You get what you pay for and in this case its worth it
Firstly, the neighborhood is a little sketchy. I'm not normally too worried about this, but my girlfriend was worried all night and I did continually check on the car. The room itself was alright, although there were signs that it hadn't been completely cleaned from the last visitor (i.e.- some necklaces still left in bathroom.) Probably the thing that turned me off the most was the lobby/breakfast. The lobby itself had a terrible smell (very vomitesque). Instead of scrambled eggs, they had hard boiled eggs (seemed fairly lazy to me.) They had eggo waffles that you had to warm up yourself and everything needed refilled. This may seem fairly trivial (it did when I was reading reviews), but it did bother me that they couldn't provide any decent selection or keep anything stocked up.
good bed, good room, good staff, poor breakfast...
Don't be deterred by the aging exterior of this hotel. The rooms are adequate, supply everything you need, are extremely clean, with really, really comfortable beds. A great value compared to nearby hotels.
I was very pleased with my stay there. The help at the desk were kind and courteous. The location of the hotel is in a quite place. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
what i expected. breakfast isnt the best but it is free and good enough.
I stayed two nights, Jan 12 and 13, 2011. My room was very clean and quiet, and parking was very convenient. This location is kind of on the other side of Denver from downtown, but there are still many restaurants and shopping close by. My appointments ended up being on the other side (the west side) of Denver, and still only took 15 minutes or so to reach via I-225 S and I-25 N. The staff was very courteous and professional. There was a coffee maker in the room, with pre-packaged sugar, creamer and coffee. A free continental breakfast was available in the morning consisting of coffee, various juices, milk, cereal, muffins, and yogurt. Coffee was available at no charge all day. One evening I purchased a frozen dinner and heated it in the microwave in the dining room. The room has a fair number of free TV channels, with some (extra-cost?) premium still-in-theatre and other movies available, as well as some games. I can't really think of anything to complain about. I was treated well and enjoyed my stay.
- Cleanliness - Decent bed - Decent price - General property maintenance - Friendly staff It is amazing how many hotels don't understand these simple items that make a good hotel! The La Quinta Inn of Aurora understands and adheres to ALL of these! Every trip we make to Denver from now on we will be staying at this hotel.
Very clean, nice sized room, very polite help/ The location was in a quiet place.
This was a very nice motel for the money and then some. The room was large with a huge bathroom. It was very clean and was close to everywhere that we wanted to be.
