It was evident that it was "off season" and you got the bare minimum of everything.
great location, close to beach and easy to walk into town. good size room, clean and bright. nice breakfast. internet access (although one terminal can easily get monopolized) pool was closed.. gym facilities were very average and indoor pool had very limited hours
Nothing, really From the time we checked in, we found the service surly and rude. We had asked for a sea view room and first were shown to to back room, then moved to a peek a boo view room. It was obvious there were many rooms on the sea available. We have used your service quite often and this is the first time we are truly disappointed.
Quiet Lobby computers need to be upgraded. There was absolutely no literature in the room to explain anything about the hotel, area, what was available ... The TV channel selection was very limited.
Location, premises Poor customer service and the pool is not available at all times for hotel guests.
Good location, convenient connection to Formia, good beach and beautiful surroundings, clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good restaurant of the hotel, free Wi-Fi, reasonable price poor breakfast a bit, sometime there is a smell in the room from the kitchen
The beach, sorroundings and natural scenery are impressive Particularly the staff that was in duty during our check in had a general attitude that could be considered as lack of any courtesy to visitors. Guests have to leave passports at the reception desk for more than half an hour just to register. It was not enough to show the documentation, they need to keep them for half an hour minimum and claim them latter. Registration should be made when the guests is at the front desk and not force them to leave their passports with risk of any loss ( which in our case happened because they were misfiled). The rest of the staff at the breakfast room and room service were polite and willing to cooperate.
The location with close access to the beach and a nice city. Balcony in our room where we could enjoy the sea view. It was nothing I did not like with the hotel. However, a potential for improvement can be to forbid the bus drivers to start and run the bus enginees while waiting for their hotel guests some of the mornings.
The Hotel has its own beach area which is kept clean and tidy The bathroom fittings are old and looking rather tired
The staff was particularly helpful because our GPS was incorrect. We got lost and he helped us find our way and was waiting at the curb looking for us The sign for the hotel is not easy to see. I recommend getting a Google image and printing it so you can recognize it.
Very comfortable hotel, excellent location near the shore and a good starting point for visiting the surroundings.
Excellent restaurant, friendly staff, relaxing environment Not enough information provided by the hotel about services offered by the hotel E.G. how to pay for meals and drinks and also about Gaeta E.G. bus information/timetable
Nothing nothing nothing nothing and more nothing... Except the views I did enjoy I did not enjoy the staff (they were rude and inattentive) and the food was not worth the money I paid and unsatisfying
Loved the swimming pool area and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had large problems with bites which seemed to be from small red ants in the grass near the pool and even a few in our room - we didn't get any bites in any other location we visited. Hotel would benefit from some other activities - giant chess, table tennis, pool room ? There is nothing to do aside from the swimming pool and no social bar open after dinner in the evening. Buffet lunch in the poolside bar was charged at 30 euro per head including for a child who ate hardly anything at lunchtime - and was not great value, when you stayed for 8 days it became a bit boring ! Guests allocated rooms near the sea-side of the property need to be aware that there is a lot of noise from the traffic on the main road beside the hotel.
This was our first hotel in my honeymoon trip. Really nice hotel with a lot of space. The room is a two story so a lot of space. Excellent location. There was no bathrobe available and the shower is small, only fits one person.
room had piping in it and in adjacent rooms which made noise, corridors have no sound insulation - noisy breakfast should be open past 10AM esp in the weekend
I found it very comfortable, I especially liked the pool. I felt more lunch options in the bar at lunch time would be helpful, not everyone likes a restaurant atmosphere at lunch time. Also the level of noise from 6am onwards in the hallways was too much, no matter whether or not you wanted to get up at crack of dawn you had no choice.
the hotel is very impressiive, well mentained and has a pastoral atmosphere.we had a room with a very nice view .the bathroom was big and very clean. the room was very far from the lobby and was oo the secind fl, without an elevator.
All of the staff were very helpful. All areas were very clean.
Beautiful facility, lovely gardens and professional staff. Internet access was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. The spiral staircase in the suite made it difficult to get our luggage upstairs.
very nice hotel, especially for quiet family holiday. beautiful real villa that gives a special atmosphere for your vacation. no own beach, need to have a car to get the city center
Thehotel is on the water with beautiful views of Formia and Gaeta. Since we were visiting family, we wanted a convenient location for them to get us. The staff was very accommodating when the family visited us and sat in dining room. The hotel charges for use of pool and beach access. I thought that was ridiculous, but maybe it's a usual custom in this area.
Very friendly staff, great views over the Monte Cassino. Very pleasant stay.
Sara the lady at reception was extremely helpful and courteous. The breakfast was the best we had experienced in our three week stay of Italy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed longer. Cassinno is a very special place.
Pool was available--an adjacent sports facility with a 25 meter pool with odd hours that happened to suit us.
A spacious welcoming hotel with warm, friendly helpful staff.
Helpfulness of staff. Good food. Distance from town.
Very accomodating, nice ristorante within hotel building. Easy to find.
Asking me not use offensive language is offensive; hotel was good. hinterland
The Hotel was very well appointed and the staff were extremely helpfull. The staff did not speak much English but we did not speak much Italian but we got by ok. There was no swimming pool but the beach was very close and well appointed with sunbeds etc.
Very open and kind employees. Excellent location.
I liked the attentive and courteous staff of the Hotel. I especially felt that a guy at the reception desk named Alessandro was extremely professional and discreet at the same time. Also a good schmuck working as waiter at the breakfast lounge was very helpful. I also liked the breathtaking scenery outside the balcony of our room. There is an enchanted view of the seaside and of the freshly cut lawn meeting the sandy beach. The beach service was also very good and the life guard on duty was very friendly. Overall I have the feeling that they absolutely care about offering the customers an excellent standard of service. Highly recommended hotel. I did not like the in-room air conditiong fiter not clean and the small size of the bed in our room. But we were told about that in advance by the staff and we freely choose to stay in a smaller room in order to enjoy the fantastic sea view. So that was ok for us anyway.
You feel hospitality as soon as you get to this hotel. The chief manager/owner as well as the staff of the hotel are always eager to help you with anything you need or wish. International guests speaking English, French or German will have no problems here. The rooms are pretty spacious and always very clean. The restaurant is superb. Excellent very inventive cook. Every day a new menu. A wide choice of good italian wines. The maitre d'hotel who speaks several languages languages and has a good team of waiters always accords a hearty welcome and ensures a very nice lunch or dinner. The territory of the hotel very well managed as an English garden. The beach is very close and pretty spacious. You feel home here and wish you could stay longer
The hotel staff were fantastic and the food was excellent, we stayed with our 6 month old son and they were very helpfull and friendly and more than happy to help with the extra things that travelling with a baby entails!
The hotel offers a rare balance of relaxed confort, exuberant surrondings and a style of service that is genuine desire to help. It has dignity in aboundance and as befits its original intent, a friendly intimacy exudes as if still a home from home. This is not like a hotel, you will think. It is more like being a guest in a lovely private villa. Everything will be done to make your stay comfortable. For those who appreciate beauty, tucked away in a lost corner of Mediterranean countryside, a haven of peace with a perfect restaurant service. The short stay in the hotel due to our trip planning; we'll come back here longer next time!!!!
We spent wonderful week in this charming Hotel. It stands on the beach in the beautiful garden. It is an island of tranquility and hospitality. The view from our balcony was magnificent!!! The beach was spacious and very clean. The three sisters Sello were so friendly and kind, that we had a feeling of staying in a family house. The decoration of the dining room and sitting rooms are refined with splendid rose bouquets from the garden. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We hope to return to the Hotel della Baia.
The accomodation lived upto it's description on th website and the service and food was excellent. I thought that the breakfast was overpriced at 10 euro per head as the choice was very limited.
extremely helpful, gentle and professional management, welcoming atmosphere, very nice lounge area & terrace, well kept premises, less than a minute to the well kept hotel beach the relaxed luxury feel in the service areas are not fully reflected in the room interiors, which are less impressive but ok
