The breakfast was the only thng that was decent.
The room smelled of mildew, the room had no water pressure, the iron leaked when I tried to use it, and the people in the next door were so loud including screaming in the hall at 2:00am that we had to call the front desk lodge a complaint. It took a little while, but they finally quieted down
For the overall price the experience was good and the stay was convenient for us
Location was a little ghetto but centrally located for our needs
Close access to downtown
The bathroom was filthy, beds were broken down, space was very cramped.
Location was good, except that it is right on the highway so there is a lot of traffic noise. Complimentary breakfast
The beds were very uncomfortable. Also, there were other guests in the hotel that were up ALL NIGHT literally knocking on doors and making huge amounts of noise.
We went to a UT game and stayed at this hotel Saturday night. The cost was $150 total. The hotel was dingy and the rooms were NOT at all what we saw online. They must've taken a picture of their biggest room. The bathroom was itty bitty and we had a small LIVE roach greet us inside the tub upon our arrival. BLECH!
Comfort, quiet and friendliness
What I liked: reasonable room price (or so it seemed, until I saw my room) and great location at the junction of I-35 and Highway 183. What I didn't like: The hotel facilities were poorly maintained, dirty, and chintzy. Shower hardware was halfway coming out of the wall. Huge tear in the carpet in my room where the tacks were exposed (ouch). The free wifi was horribly unreliable and went out of service for 20-30 minute stretches. Although there's an elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors, the floors themselves have steps leading to the far ends which is a pain in the a$$ when hauling a heavy roller bag. I will not stay here again, and I will discourage my friends/family (or anyone else I even remotely care about) from staying at this horrible little establishment in the future.
Staff was very helpful and nice.
Very tight room not much walking space.
Rooms were well equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee pot, iron and ironing board. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. In contradiction to what I read online, the rooms and hallways did not smell like smoke.
Walls were very thin and could hear the neighboring rooms, housekeeping was kind of intrusive. I was in the shower and instead of housekeeper coming back to clean, she came in and I had to dress in the bathroom. Also in the morning as you are walking down the hall, housekeeping is throwing dirty linens in the hallway on the floor. I was also in the laundry room starting a load of laundry and I could hear a housekeeper cussing someone out and sounded like she was fixing to get in a fight with another housekeeper. Glad my kids weren't around to hear that! Front desk seemed to try to help a situation that I had checking in but seemed to have an attitude about it. With all of this being said, I did enjoy my stay here and I would stay here again.
