clean, safe, comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff, good location
Loved the view over the river and hotel access to the walking/jogging trail alongside the river. I found room appointments to be superbly functional from reading lights to gargantuan HDTV and quality program selections. The online check-in process commenced by email the afternoon before I arrived, asking for my room preferences. I requested river view, high up, with check-in before noon, my desiderata in a most perfect world. At 10 AM, as I stepped off the plane, I received a text message that a room with all requested features would be ready for check-in at 11AM. This was well beyond my expectations and truly an unexpected treat! This is where I'll be whenever I'm in Austin!
I like the location, so close to everything.
The room was not clean, phone didn't work to order room service.
So close to the river and great walking/running path. Great friend poolside service. Within walking distance to great art, shopping and restaurants. Will definitely return.
Overall pretty average hotel. I found the rooms clean and most staff helpful.
I booked in March 2014 and paid in full at that time, but my actual stay was in February 2015. After all that time, they werent able to accommodate my request for a two bed room. Their reason for this was that I had booked through a third party site, but frankly, I was a paying guest in their hotel and expected to be treated as one. My friend spent the week on an unbelievably uncomfortable pull out couch, it took 6 calls to housekeeping for extra blankets/pillows/sheets/pads to make it halfway decent. On our final day, we had to move rooms to a room with two beds (I had extended our stay) and it turned out that the 2 bed room was vacant the night before, but nobody had notified us. The "heated infinity pool" is ice cold, not heated, and there isnt even a hot tub. The bar service was spotty at best, rude or absent at worst. The rooms are pretty dated. It was hard to find plugins for your phone, ice machine on my floor was broken.
This hotel is currently under renovation, which was not listed during the reservation process, which resulted in 8:00am wake ups to hammering and other construction noise. Would not recommend if you are looking for a relaxing quiet weekend until these renovations are completed.
Great trip, great service, great hotel!
It's location is really perfect. Your minutes away from everything you'd want to see and do.
I felt itchy in the bed which freaked me out a bit.
hotel location on riverfront was nice parking was easy staff friendly
tv channels very limited....no sports channel room was right above front entrance so view was poor room was a little rundown. not worth the price paid
The staff is always so accommodating and is quick to help you out. I've always enjoyed the views that I've had from my rooms.
This is the second year in a row I have stayed at this hotel, and I remember last year seeing how everything was going to be renovated and brand new (I remember seeing on the board that all new rooms would have microwaves, minifridges, etc). Because of this I didn't mind that the price was almost double from last year, as I thought that everything was brand new, but when we got to our room it was exactly the same as last year. So what exactly was this pay raise for if I had the exact same room for a much lower price the year before?
Room was great, with a great view of the city. Had an awesome salt water, heated pool. Free wi-fi. And best of all it has a Starbucks in it!
Location was perfect
Rooms were disgusting and worn down. Small rooms and horrible views.
Location was great and good value when compared to other downtown hotels, bed was very comfortable
Rooms are a little dated
Perfect location to be within walking distance to many local attractions.
The staff was very nice and always willing to help. I loved the temperped. mattress! Overall good place.
Place was out dated. However, I think they were updating it. Water tasted funny and internet was slow.
