i liked getting a comfortable room and a decent breakfast for a very reasonable price (about $60 per night with tax). The pool was very nice and not a common amenity to be included at this price point. The staff (day and night crews) were very friendly and helpful. My new preference for motels is Quality Inn.
My only complaint was that at the end of a long, hot day touring Austin, i stopped and got a 6-pack of beer because i was thirsty. i got back to my room and there wasn't a bottle opener. The front desk didn't have one either, so i had to make a special trip to Wal-Mart just for a bottle opener.
