centally located, beautifully restored hotel...large rooms for European hotel, good value for the money
Good atmosphere at the place
just stayed for the night, room was comfortable we came back one week later for another night, this second time room was not as good and very noisy
no triple room was available so we were given two adjoining rooms, large and very comfortable
It's centrally located with free parking, close to restaurants and the historic old town. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
NIce room, very large for EU standards. Small but good quality breakfast.
Based on earlier reviews and after looking at the website of the hotel, I decided to stay for the night at the Tonneau d' Or. I do not regret this choice: the staff is extremely kind and helpful, the architecture of the main hall is impressive, the rooms are quite OK. I would add two pluses; the presence of an inside parking area where you can leave safely your car and the proximity (5 minutes walk) of the Old Town of Belfort, a pleasant area
My wife needs a wheelchair and facilities for disabled in the bathroom. We short-listed hotels in Belfort on this basis. Unlike some hotels which state they are wheelchair/disabled friendly but are not, this hotel lived up to our expectations and requirements. The en-suite shower room was excellent - one of the best we have experienced. Lovely interior to the hotel. It would have been nice if there had been a restaurant for an evening meal.
Car park out the back and location of hotel
Once grand hotel is in process of renovating and upgrading, but did not diminish quality of stay. Best hotel in area. Bed quality needs attention.
The Hotel is in a very convenient location for the town centre. The room was cleaned and tidied to a very good standard each day. Breakfast was a good choice of different things to eat. no
Cleanness and design - nice breakfast
Easy to find, free internet, clean
Good value, clean accommodation, friendly staff, good breakfast Hotel overlooking old railway goods area
It is a good hotel, but as a new hotel, it is a little difficult to find it with GPS.
Good location friendly and helpful staff No
The presence of a very close parking. The toilette was too little.
CLEAN, CONVENIENCE, KIND NOTHING
nice and modern...but the noice from the train and next room is poorly.. Generally is fine.
The hotel offered all the basic facilities. It was clean and comfortable, with free parking, and offered good value for money.
Value for money combined with a good location Rooms were not cleaned or checked during the entire stay and we had to purchase toilet paper as reception was closed and toilet paper had not been replenished.
the receptions there are very nice~~~`
use it in case that you really have no enough money
Good value for money. The lady at reception when we arrived was most helpful and this made our overnite very enjoyable. Please convey our compliments to the lady in question. The details as to where we come off the motorway and find the hotel was very poor.In effect vwe had to ring the hotel to get directions etc.
Buffet breakfast excellent
The staff was very nice, I was coming late and they agreed to wait for me, they were helpful. It was cheap compared with other hotels in Belfort. The room was not very clean and it smelled bad. It wasn't very cosy. Although it was the cheapest hotel I found in Belfort, I think it was nos worth its price.
Reasonable location fro overnight stop overs to break the journey and not too for from the main road in and out of town. An English TV channel to recieve news and weather would be nice and helpful.
Hotel design and Reception staff was very helpfull. Bar staff to little present. Breakfast staff too much present. Nothing serious however
Check in took very long as receptionist decided to take a long phone call during check in. credit card and cash was stolen from my colleagues room during breakfest.
A nice location and a nice relaxing atmosphere in the Restaurant
all perfect customers have not the ability to choose the room's temperature, it was a litle cool for us
Frienly staff nicely furnished and decorated good beds and bathroom nice food close to main roads Breakfast was a bit expensive
Good location for food and amenities of Belfort. Easy to find. Quite small for a Novotel, imagine it is very busy when conference is running.
Comfortable room, clearly recently refurbished. Good value for money. Short walk from town centre Immediate locality appeared to be rough to say the least. Two pillows per bed would be nice and a door on the bathroom would have been a bonus. The hinges were in place so I suspect that this was a temporary condition relating to the refurbishment.
Very nice stuff, quite good food. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable. Not so much chose of food for brakfast.
It is a nice and clean hotel with plenty of secure parking space. Some distance to the city centre and citadel, but very close to the Univeristy.
Old structure withd a fully renovated need.
I liked very much the attention of the staff of the hotel, specially the lady that worked during the night
There was little to like Far from town, small rooms, poor reception coverage, small bathrooms
Located at the edge of the city by the highway, it offered a nice cheap overnight shelter on our way from southern France. I liked its simiplicity, wireless, and, of course, the price. Design of the shower courtain and bathroom doors - showering sprays water on door because the courtain is not sealed to the wall on the side of the door and water drips from doors into the room once you open them.
Flexibility, comfort, good value for money, Staff very kind
Not very comfortable rooms and shower/bathroom very small.
The hotel was available was convenient and good value for money Maybe the rooms could be just a tiny bit bigger
Nice and quiet place outside urban area. Lots of places for shopping and eating not far from the hotel. The hotel staff speaks only French... ??
the tv was new the room was depressingly small and the toilet and shower was like walking into a portable toilet. light was shit and the key card into the room only worked upon occasion. they spoke very little english
