The price was fair and location convenient The reception/dining area was grubby and worn and hotel advertised as having a restaurant which we discovered was no longer the case.
Family run hotel, who were very helpful. Near to several large ski areas & 30mins from Geneve aiport ! I hope to stay again in the future.
The host couple are friendly, charming, and helpful. Casual interaction with other guests was the most fun.
Roger and Sue were so very cordial. It felt like we were in their home as guests. They went out of their way to help us plan our drives in the area and even tried to find a way to make our computer work better. Both evenings we were there, we sat and visited like friends, which they now are. It was a delightful stay.
They were great hosts and went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Very quiet.Warm welcome from the owner.Car park. The Hotel is quite expensive according the location.Breakfast expensive and not included. It could be included for the price of the room.I am n t sure there is internet
Really well placed to visit the local area, The English speaking owners are extremely knowledgable and are full of suggestions as what you might like to do do, Ask about hide away restaurants? A nice hotel!
The staff very friendly. Dinner really nice quality at fair price. The room not very clean. The towels not changed even though we left them on the floor the second day.
Extreme hospitality, food was amazing. Country French cooking at its best Loved the pet love received from the 2 family dogs. Great conversation over dinner with a warm welcome atmosphere. Close to major highways even though snuggled away in a quaint little village. Highlight of our trip..
Nice people and very helpfull That we could not get a warm drink in the evenings nor a mill when it was snowung outside
Location and clean spacious room Nothing in particular
Good sound insulation of the room, keeping the traffic noise outside.
Plenty of towels and large bed. absence of elevator (3 floor hotel).
The staff were very helpful. I did not notice on my reservation that I needed to call to check in after 10:00 PM, but the hotel called me to give me the details on how to access the hotel/my room after hours. The quiet location, balcony, and convenient bus service was great. I prefer a thicker mattress, although the bed was quite comfortable - I slept very well both nights and woke up refreshed.
Hotel was at a quiet location;one could sleep with the windows open. Buffet Breakfast was very good.
Rooms are very comfortable, silent and well refurbished
I liked the layout of the rooms, my little balcony attached to the room.
Excellent position, quiet, easy access to Lake and public transport. A litle gem! Very helpful and friendly staff. This was our second stay and we would be very happy to return.
The lady at Reception was extremely helpful in directing my husband to the hotel, driving through an unfamiliar town. As a family of two adults and two children under twelve we thought the family room represented good value for money, and the breakfast had a good variety and was well presented by another friendly member of staff. The Airconditioning unit in the room was a little bit noisy.
Central location , easy to find and restaurant next door Unfortunately it was too hot and the room was stuffy and uncomfortable. Also as it was the workd cup final the streets were very noisy with cars beeping all night. The blinds on the window did not work and there were hairs and what looked like fleas (jumping insects) in the bed.
Very nice staff and good location
It was close from the lake. Quite easy to find, and there was a spacious parking place. There was no air conditioner in the room. But since it was rainy and windy during my stay, it was not a big problem.
The staff was very helpful and even if the typical architecture is maintained the facilities are still modern. Only point: the windows for the 3 person room didn't really open much, and after a bath the room was very humid.
Free internet. Great having a restaurant attached - good food. Lovely village location with pretty views from room balcony. Free car parking. Basic French breakfast - quite expensive.
Pretty amateur service in the dining room over dinner, quite difficult to locate, needs better signage.
Near the city, comfortable and clean A bit difficult to find for a newcomer to the city (we were driving)
Very cozy and friendly hotel. Good food. Our room was a little too small.
Friendly welcome, good value for money, great location
The staff were very friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Facilities were good. Restaurant was great with local produce and dishes. This is not what we did't like about the hotel, just our room. We were in the roof with a velux window and it was extremely hot when we stayed. We had mobile air conditioning units which were very noisy so we did not keep them running overnight.
We were able to use the local tennis courts for free during our stay.
Very friendly staff. Restaurant in hotel is very good. Fantastic view from the huge balcony. Although the hotel is in a small city there is not much to see on foot after dinner.
Nice, Small, Good, easy-to-find Hotel - especially for our requirement; one overnight - perfect. The Church Bells directly across the street. Not that we don't like Church Bells but in that close proximity they are loud. They stopped ringing at 22:00 and didn't start again until 08:00 the following morning - thankfully.
This is a very nice family run alpine restaurant with a few newly constructed rooms. The rooms are two stories with a sleeping loft. The family grows much of what it offers in the restaurant on its farm. It is a way up the hill from the town, but a very scenic drive. Many cycling routes in the area. There is an occasional bus from the down for those without autos.
friendly welcome, fantastic room, stunning views of mountains from balcony, food good great atmosphere.
The hotel was very family oriented. The staff could not have been more helpful and the hotel was clean, met all our needs, and was recently updated. We would stay at the Auberge on our next trip to the Annecy area.
