Pros: The view of the church from our bedroom window was spectacular, super clean room, plenty of hot water in the shower, convenient parking, steps from everything, very attentive hosts.
Pros: The very friendly family atmosphere, brought our breakfast up to the 2nd floor balcony and eager to provide information,
Pros: It was very clean, with a good shower and wonderful views of the town. The family that runs it was kind and helpful. There is a guide who works with the hotel. His name is Jaime, and he knows everything about the surrounding area. He has many hiking options, and was a thoughtful and knowlegeable guide with whom we enjoyed spending time.
Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like.
Pros: - No TV - towels smells good - parking place inside - close to the Centre - nice stuff (e.g. gave us hot water costless)
Cons: - was sometimes noise because of the passing hotel guests (our room was located directly next to the stairs) - basic equipped (Potential for let the guest feel more comfortable ) - no window available but announced a Mountain View
Pros: Everything it was amazing!! We receive the pretty good atention by the owner, the location is the best, the hotel is really clean... We would like come back again!!Thanks David
Pros: The hosts are excellent, the bed was comfy and the views amazing. Perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Not very close yo downtown but its what makes it special.
Pros: The location and view
Cons: Too cold
Pros: Everything, the view is exquisite and the food amazing!
Cons: According to booking I would be charged until I got to the hotel, but when I got there they had already charged my card and had the voucher for me to sign. Didn't like it much since I was going to split the cost with another Persona and in the end we couldn't.

Pros: The attention and welcoming of the hotel's staff was very warm. If you ask for tour's information they contact you with a good office and they support each other for a good experience. They have an excellent breakfast so enjoy it.
Cons: Location is strange, is not far for downtown but it's not that close, easier if you have a car, the public transportation may not know the hotel but some of the local taxis do, the fare is between $80 to $100 pesos.
Pros: This is the perfect spot to relax. It's in the middle of the forest, you wake up to the birds singing and it's just soo calm. I absolutely loved it here, we will come back soon.
Cons: The bed was kind of hard
Pros: The quietness and the privacy. The staff and the area are very nice. It has parking and it's 7 min. away from the town.

Pros: The staff was incredibly nice, and the view was incredible
Cons: Access was not the easiest, but just put on a good pair of boots during raining season.
Pros: It has a very nice view of town.
Cons: It has a very simple and spartan look. Very little time and resources have been invested into making it a pleasant place. It is located in a marginal area of town. One must drive or take a taxi especially at night. The continental breakfast was a big disappointment: a few cubes of watermelon with no flavor, two low quality pieces of pastry and one cup of tasteless coffee (no refills). No sense of hospitality. This area of Mexico is know for its hospitality, however, it was not reflected in this hotel.
Pros: Dedication and professionalisme
Cons: Marvelous people beautiful place though raining but charming
Pros: Incredible views (especially sunrise). Excellent staff and big breakfast
Cons: Rooms were a little basic. It's a little far from the centre and at night the road is poorly lit - best to take a taxi when dark
Pros: Very nice location with beautiful sunrise, huge balcony (shared, not private!), friendly and attentive staff, rooms are spacious
Cons: Bathroom has a strong smell, everybody can look into your room from the terrace (there are blindfolds but the rooms is really dark if you close them), no electricity in the morning, wifi not working in the room, breakfast was advertised as continental but they only served bread upon request and there was no marmalade
Pros: Small, very clean, friendly staff, beautiful view over the whole town and walking distance to the center.
Pros: Great staff
Pros: The service was superb
Situated in the heart of Cuetzalan, Hotel La Casa de Piedra features a charming central patio and garden. It offers a free Wi-Fi zone and rustic-style accommodation with private balconies. Each room at La Casa de Piedra offers a ceiling fan, cable TV and pure cotton sheets. The ceramic-tiled bathrooms include a shower and handmade toiletries. A daily breakfast is available in the hotel’s dining room. You can also find many local bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets. Saint Francis of Assisi Church is only 150 metres from the Casa de Piedra, while Las Brisas Waterfall is 4 km away and the Yohualichan Archaeological Zone is 8 km away. The hotel offers free private parking.
Pros: Excellent location, just 1 1/2 blocks uphill to the main square. Hotel staff were friendly, especially the young men who seem to be around the office to help. Room was pretty, king bed was comfortable. I appreciated the security box in the room for valuables. The room had no real ventilation so that it was always humid inside. Opening the door helped during the day when we were in the room but could be insecure when sleeping, so we didn’t. An overhead fan helped. As with many Mexican hotels, there were few electrical outlets; best to carry an “octopus” outlet or just an extension cord.
Cons: Humidity in the room, mainly due to lack of ventilation.
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The restaurant food was good and it was nice to have a restaurant close by. The room's view was good. We liked the location a lot - it was just a minute's walk to the city center. There were restaurants close by. The hotel's grounds were beautiful.
Cons: What we liked the least was the check-in process. We were followed to the hotel by a local man who wanted us to buy a tour to the waterfalls. The man at the front desk seemed to be his friend and was pressuring us to buy a tour even after we told him several times that we didn't want a tour. We eventually had to pay the man to leave because he wouldn't stop. The hotel employee didn't help us and made us feel pressured to buy a tour from his friend. We thought this was very unprofessional.
Pros: Cuetzalan is a small jewel of a pueblo and a great place to visit. There aren't many options for hotels and the accommodations are pretty basic, That's what we expected, so we were entirely satisfied with our stay. We especially liked great location and the free parking on location. The room was quiet and when you close the shutters, very dark, even in the daytime.
Cons: Of course, hotel prices are generally determined by local market conditions and I can't speak with any authority about that, but it was a little more expensive than other hotels in others places of similar quality that we have visited. I still can't say that it was expensive, but throwing in breakfast would have been a reasonable addition for the cost.
Pros: I like to much the place. Quiet, clean, pretty. Excellent attention on check in. The restaurant’s Terrance is very relaxing and quiet, with hamacas and traditional indigenous sauna. I love it!
Cons: The only thing I did not like it is that you can not find in the night support, the reception is empty for a long time. The hotel is very nice at night but not to enough staff available.
Pros: The best hotel!
Cons: Everything was excellent

Pros: Price vs Experience gets five stars. Friendly and clean with a touch of class. My father and I were very happy to have stayed here :)

Meson Yohualichan is 10 minutes’ drive from Grutas Aventura Caves and 20 minutes’ drive from Brisas Waterfalls. Papantla town centre is 90 minutes’ drive away and Puebla International Airport is 2 hour’s drive away.
Pros: Rooms were cosy and clean. Location was a good thing (10 minutes from the city center). The neighborhood was silent.
Cons: Voices and sounds from other rooms were audible. TV was old and the administration requests 100 MXN for the remote control that you get back at delivery time. One bulb was burned out.
Pros: Good option in Cuetzalan, clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant is simple, however food is nice. The town center is in walk distance.
Cons: Attention from the staff could be nicer. They are polite, but you do not feel that you are their client.
Pros: The hotel has a great location: it is an easy 10 minute walk from the bus station and one of the few places in town where you can actually drive to by and park a car. It is about 10 minutes uphill from the centre, meaning you walk down to the centre having a great view. The staff mostly speaks Spanish, but one person spoke decent English. They are all superfriendly and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and quiet by night. The room also had mosquito nets, so we could sleep with an open window. The prices are relatively low for Cuetzalan. They have great breakfast selection (not included in the price) which is one of the best food options to be had in Cuetzalan (we stayed 3 days, so we have tried a lot of restuarants), and the best is: one of the options is a super-delicious fruit platter.
Cons: We liked the hotel very much but for people who cannot walk far, this might not be a good choice: you have to walk a lot of stairs on the hotel grounds, and also to the town centre (then again, for people who cannot walk well, Cuitzalan as a whole might not be a good choice because it is very steep). The room smelled of detergent or mosquito repellent.
Pros: Good location, clean rooms, good water pressure, and parking!!! Little charm though, and very basic.
When you stay at Rancho El Paraiso de Ayotoxco in Ayotoxco de Guerrero, you'll be on a river and 23.8 mi (38.3 km) from Las Brisas Waterfall. Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Hotel Taselotzin is an eco-hotel in the beautiful Cuetzalan region of the state Puebla, in the Sierra Norte mountain range. This lovely property is a wonderful place to relax and unwind, offering traditional spa treatments, such as massages, temazcal, and other pre-Hispanic rituals. As a way of supporting the community, the hotel also shows off local handicrafts throughout, including artisanal toiletries. The rooms at Hotel Taselotzin are comfortable and peaceful, surrounded by lush gardens. Come and enjoy a restful stay at this tranquil place!
Pros: Very nice people working there! Room was big and the place very calm and safe, but it's better if you like to walk, else you may not like the location. A lot of hot water. Cool handmade soaps. Nice little shop at the reception.
Cons: Not enough heating in the room...
Pros: Excellent and very friendly hotel, good meals
Cons: The restaurant closes at 8 pm.
Pros: The place was very true to its roots, no English spoken
Cons: Sporadic kitchen hours
Pros: Lovely, clean rooms. Only complaint is the beds...hard as rocks. And the pillows...bad.
Pros: Friendly, helpful people, and modern clean facilities in a pueblo rich in native culture.
Cons: It is an easy walk downhill from the hotel to the city center, but I usually took a cab back up. However, taxis are only a couple of dollars.
Pros: The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The environment was lovely. Excellent breakfast and dinner. The shop has a large stock of high quality, fairly priced, items (textiles, clothes, soaps, drinks) produced by members of the women's cooperative that owns and runs the hotel.
Cons: The outside lighting was terrible – bright and on all night and passing through our room' thin curtains. Whenever I woke up I'd think it was morning, only to realise that it was still the middle of the night.
Pros: The rooms are lovely, beautifully decorated, and we really enjoyed food at the restaurant. Try the agua del día. The location is very quiet, you can hear a lot of animals, but it is only a short walk into town (about 10 minutes to centre and a bit less to the ADO bus station). The massage is highly recommended!
Cons: Rooms are draughty and damp, which is partly due to the climate. But we felt that our room had not been aired or cleaned for a long time, and it wasn't very clean. The ladies who manage the place could be a bit friendlier.
Located in Cuetzalan del Progreso, Hotel Mixti is a 2-minute drive from Church of San Francisco and 7 minutes from Las Brisas Waterfall. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast we very good, and included in the cost of the room. The location is very good - just 10 minute to the centre.
Cons: The room was very old, and on the ground floor so we had the bright lights of the foyer / reception area coming into the room. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the fan moved very slowly but sounded like an old engine.
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: Beds were a bit hard.

Pros: The view is amazing

Pros: We liked the room because it was quiet and we slept well. However, it is a little bit like a concrete bunker, with an element of damp and cold to it. There are some nice touches though. Everything was very clean and room service was available every day. There was always somebody around even when we left early in the morning. The price is right, the location is good.
Cons: it is a little bit like a concrete bunker, with an element of damp and cold to it
Pros: It was rainy and foggy when i got to Cuetzalan, we were traveling all night long and at 4 a.m, they still let me in with no extra fee, We were already expecting a "no" for an answer but even though it wasnt check in time they still let us in. Thaks
Cons: Credit or debit card terminal.
Pros: Friendly doggy
Cons: Its too hot at night had to open windows, mosquito bites all night
Pros: I love this hostel. It is built into the rock, so the walls of the rooms are beautiful stone. The rooms are sparsely appointed, but very adequate. It's quiet and comfortable. The beautiful young lady at the lobby is super efficient, very welcoming, and goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. I will stay there again. Cuetzalan is truly extraordinary!
Cons: This is a very charming hostel, but very basic. To get hot water, you must ask them to turn on the boiler.
