The manager was very friendly. The breakfast was a standard Turkish breakfast. The toilet was malfunctioning, the location was hard to find, and the elevator did not seem very safe.
Good for one night but no more Dinner service was poor. No meat and no choice of hot food. Drinks with meal had to be paid for. A tour bus hotel with very little going on in the local area. Perhaps because of the season?
Good location right accross from the beach with lovely sea views. Nice rooftop pool. Excellent value for money. Triple room we had was very cramped and no room for luggage. They should never haved squeezed in the 3rd bed. As we only stayed overnight it was fine but not ideal for longer stays. Room was in need of updating, badly!
the room was nice the pool is very small, does not own private beach, altough it has been stated, meals are bad organised, restaurant is too small, uncomfortable, but the most of all, the staff is unpolite and rude.
Excellent courteous and helpful reception staff. Good selection of very adequate dishes and drinks for the buffet meals Even though the sandy beach was excellent, the high concentration of cigarette butts in the sand does necessitate more frequent cleanup and upkeep of the sandy beach
Fullboard meal service is great!! Most staff cannot speak english.
Nice hotel , good location near the beach. Too many flies on the food in the restaurant.
the room was very clean, got everything you need, very close to the beach with a nice view the staff looks friendly, but they don't speak any english - only turkish, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant
For 2* hotel it's fine. Rooms are not spacious but are clean. You have a buffet table ( not too rich and varied but good enough). You have a pool. The beach is just infront of the hotel. And the hotel is on a very nice position. So we used a fullboard option and we have been restricted in the number free drinks ( 2 for launch and 2 for dinner ). The problem is that you could ask for it only during launch and dinner time. Out of that periods you have to pay for any drink. Because of time restriction and the crowds around the bar during feeding the most of the people was not able to use their vouchers. I suggest to keep restricted number of free drinks but to permit usage for the whole day and not only during feeding. also I think the hotel should take more care for the cleaness of the their part of the beach as it could be better.
One must take into account that it is placed in a quite turistic area, and away from Ayvalik center (which is a nicer place). The thing that I didn't like is that it was quite difficult to find. I think that the indications to get there must be sensibly improved. First, Sarimsakli beach is located several km away from Ayvalik (in fact, it belongs to a different municipality, as we saw it). Second, we have found that usually hotels in Turkey are not indicated by any mark in the towns, not even in the most turistic places. Therefore, you can expend hores trying to find the hotel.
Hard to find :)
Very friendly and kind staff, close to a very nice beach with the hotel's free umbrella sets. Very nice pool as an alternative to the beach. Rich breakfast. Overall a comfortable stay. For those who need internet, there is no connection in the upper rooms. One should visit the area close to the reception. Although the place, sarmisakli, is a nice place on its own to stay for ones vacation, it is almost 15 min far from ayvalik with the bus (5 liras back and forth).
The service was very poor. We managed to get at least an "acceptable" room to sleep after a half ours negotiations with the head of the staff. They could not open with the key the door of the room which they had intitailly prepared for us. Then they tried to open the door by spraying a product in the key hole.No success! After my claim asking for another room, initially they answered that they have no other available. Just after negotiations we suceeded to sleep. What a shame!
Spacious apartment, two sunny balconies and friendly staff at reception. Nice towns of Ayvalik and Cunda nearby. Short opening hours for swimming pool, "hotel" beach crowded and dirty. Strict rules about a lot of things, including no food in apartment despite equipped kitchen there. Breakfast and dinner ok, but very basic. The area has been too heavily developed.
safety at the pool
Staff Cold food!!
Staff, looks, food, Cleanliness
hotel staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. Swimmıng pool and restuarant very good also. Great location near beach and shops mosquitos in lobby at night very annoying
The staff are very polite and obliging. The rooms are spacious and clean. The "all inclusive" drinks was served only in small cups and especially for the beer it was a little bit inconveniently.
