Enjoyed our stay, excellent comfort, good views of lago Iseo. No
Wonderful staff, panoramic view, uncrowded. Good restaurant; The menu was limited, but very well executed using finest ingredients often sourced locally. Lack of room service, although when we arrived later than expected they arranged supper in the breakfast room, so I am sure that room service could be arranged. No bar service.
Friendly atmosphere Pillows on the bed too few and too hard
Great breakfast and service Room was very comfortable but there was no hook to hang the shower head on, it had to be held up to shower properly
the location is lovely and the atmosphere very peaceful. The staff were very helpful The view is wonderful
Excellent food and great choice of local wine; good local restaurants also nearbye.
The hillside location overlooking Lake Iseo was very nice. The rooms and buildings were all modern and up to date. The food at the restaurant was worth the price charged.
Fantastic lakeside views. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Shower was a disaster. No mounting on wall to hold shower head. Also air conditioning was set too high, with no individual control in room. Temp in room was around 25 degrees. It would have been much more comfortable at 20 degrees.
The whole experience was fantastic - so much so that we booked an extra night. Views over Lake Iseo and the mountains beyond, from the breakfast room/terrace, restaurant and our room. Staff were great - helpful, pleasant and with plenty of good advice on what to do and see. Very good fine-dining restaurant was great for one night - too expensive for us in the longer term but there are good restaurants in the nearby town, including a great fish restaurant near the lake front. A car is necessary, but parking is easy. Overall great value and recommended without hesitation. Nothing we didn't like, but a warning - the hotel is not where the map Google Maps/Earth?) on the Booking.com and hotel websites say it is. The hotel is several hairpins further up the hill, so a longer climb than you might think - still a nice walk to the town though.
Location of the hotel & restaurant are great! Very friendly hotel people. Breakfast was fine but somewhat limited. No fresh fruit. The hotel room itself also missed some common tools/attributes, like pen/paper, hotel/location directory/information, only very limited shampoo, no razor and hairbrush etc. Dogs are allowed which can be a problem when they bark.
Sitting by the pool on the side of the lake, eating at the hotel and doing day trips around the lake.
Very relaxing, pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good food and a beautiful location.
the room and the view on the lake the road and railway line behind the hotel, the too small terrace in front of the lake
Close to the lake, quite fresh built place. Nice Breakfast on the terrace close to the lake. Room 118 (84EUR/night) is without lake view and with both windows looking to the main road and railways which is running close along the road. During the day and evening noise from the road and passing trains are annoying. Impossible to open the window due to that. Girl at the reception was not polite at all, even for Italy. Service in restaurant during the breakfast was great.
I will never forget opening the window in our room and looking out over the lake and mountains beyond and seeing the water lapping at the hotel wall
Excellent location, beautiful lake views, only 25 mins from Bergamo
Very pleasant hotel, room looked straight out over Lago d'Iseo. Just too far from Iseo to walk to the centre.
This hotel is, unfortunately, not up to the expectations one might have of a 4 (or even a 3 star) hotel. The location is really bad, very close to a busy road and a railway, in an awful village some 3 kilometers from Iseo (which is a nice place, by the way). Furthermore, the room didn't even have a bath and was rather tiny, not to mention the furnishing. Also, the 'breakfast' was rather minimalistic. The personnel tries to make something of it, but this hotel is unfortunately really disappointing.
lake view lack of tea/coffee making facility in room
Great location. Nice trattorias and shopping near by. This is the only hotel in the heart of the old city. The staff was helpful and friendly. They seemed to truly want us to enjoy our stay. If you don't like the hustle and bustle of Italian piazzas, ask for a room in the back. Rooms are well appointed with nice furniture and amenitites. a high quality 3 star Albergo. No
The location was great, right in the old town. Lots of nice restaurants and shopping. The two women working at the reception were really lovely people and very helpful. The breakfast was really good with a nice inner-courtyard to sit outside. I would like to come back here again.
atmosphere of hotel interior and environment; excellent breakfast.
Great location, staff very pleasant, room surprisingly good (spacious, clean), great breakfast Requested a room with street view and request not granted, even though rest of the hotel was empty
it was a wonderful hotel in the heart of the historic district of brescia, italy. the woman at the front desk was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Great breakfast!!! the hotel was hard to find, but then noone in our party spoke italian......and it was worth getting lost for......
very nicely suited near the Duomo, everything totally renovated, good breakfast. no.
Excellent location! Room a bit small. Bath room had no tub.
The room was nice and cosy and quite spacious for a single room.
The staff were delightful and helpful, and the location was convenient for visiting the lakes and many interesting towns by train. Our room was comfortable and charming, and the staff gave us many helpful suggestions for restaurants and places to see. Breakfast was typical Italian style with a good selection - cold meats, cheeses, fruit and cereal, croissants and pastries.
Excellent small hotel. Superb service. The hot water wasn't particularly hot!!
Very nice hotel staff, very clean and decent accommodation, good rate. No.
Enjoyed the 2 night stay, good service, value for money and helpful staff
Very nice rooms, great breakfast, great staff, maybe a little poor in English. no
renovated and clean insufficient staff, poor brekfast
Big room, nice breakfast, nice staff, close to the autostrade, price is low comparing to other hotels in Brescia and around, good location if you just stop by on your way to other places. It is very hard to find the hotel you don't have a map of Brescia or a GPS as there are no signs on the way and it's not clear where the street starts and end, location is not good if you plan to tour Brescia, there is a heavy traffic in front of the hotel if you get a room in the front of the hotel - it will be very hard for you to still be sleeping in the early morning (I only assume that because we got a room in back but when we got out in the morning we saw the heay traffic).
Professionalism, dedication and real sense of hospitality.
Please write at least 15 words it is in an area I needed to be in. I think the hotel is expensive for the facilities it offerd No umbrella avialable . No english channel on bedroom tv. No business centre or access to a computer
the view and the room was clean wi-fi at the room was poor and no appropriate electricity point for the laptop
the hotel is very clean, room is big and the breakfast was excellent. so far nothing cause we stayed only one night.
Very practical and comfortable hotel located near the big city hospital in an uninteresting suburb. Presently there are VERY big roadworks due to the construction of the subway, but without any trouble in the hotel itself. Awful breakfast, with totally inedible scrambled eggs, without mentioning the low quality of ham and cheese.
The room was very spacious, comfortable enough and had a good sized bath which was great. Breakfast was fine
nice large confortable room and bathroom.missing few conforts like bathrobe and slippers.good restaurant and staff no newspapers. despite the description is absolutely not close to the railway station, to reach it ir requires indeed a ride of 25 mins by bus
Breakfast was very good, room was really spacious, bathroom was also spacious and very elegant, the hotel itsself was really elegant
staff were very nice. evening food very good hotel needs a spa/ relax swiming area etc. the breakfast was the same u need to change. and also sky film etc.
I just wanted to break my journey up into the mountains. This hotel was perfect, brand new, clean. Wish I could have tried out the gym/pool but had to push on to Madonna Di Campiglio. Great Hotel. If I am here on business i will definitely stay here. No
It was very clean and nice design Very poor on facilities
design and staff just the restaurant hours.
Just off the highway Brescia Est. Friendly staff. Free parking. Satellite TV should be there. No english speaking channels.
You stay in a real palace for a price not much higher than that of a business hotel. The staff make you feel like royalty. The hotel has been in existence for only one year. As soon as it gets better known, prices may go up to > 300 euro per night, which is the real value of what you are getting.
The place and the spectacular architecture No.
The hotel is beautiful, the staff even better. A great choice
The ambiance, the perception of luxury (although this was more due to the nature of the building than actual luxury in fixtures and fittings, the architecture, and the feel of the essence of Italy. Too damn quiet, but it was end of season.
It was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were wonderful helpfull and polite and the hotel was excellent value for money. It was well located for the lakes, mountaind and cities and I would highly recommend it
The hotel is an excellent place to stay from virtually all aspects. It is clean, extremely well-appointed, and has a very helpful staff. The rooms are large and very quiet. The breakfast is absolutely first-class, and the restaurant serves excellent meals at a reasonable price. The internet service is very good as well.
tout, la qualite de service, les lieux, la decoration... rien
Peace, quiet and very friendly, helpful staff. Its location was not ideal for local sightseeing. The facilities and services offered did not meet those expected at a five star hotel.
Everything! Best hotel I have stayed in at Europe in 4 different trips. Outstanding in every measure. Highly recommended. Spacious clean rooms, excellent and new bathrooms, friendly and courteous staff, a true 5 star hotel.
relaxed pace and a few very helpful staff
good price for low season/ close to station/public transport/ friendly family atmosphere
Very noisy as the trains can be heard very late at night, 1 to 2am. Not for light sleepers, also very noisy with local works from 7am. Carry a pair of ear plugs.
The location suited me well and the price was very reasonable. The hotel was plain and unpretentious but comfortable. It is still a work-in-progress as far as decor was concerned.
Just good friendly efficient service, as always Can get a bit noisy in the back rooms, early on with the bus depot starting up, but thats all
good location, clean, comfortable, good maintenance and new rooms
i like the city, it is lovely, interesting, good shooping-. a little bit noisy in the hotel bus staition, stuff in the morning
Modern, clean room well equipped (e.g. comfortable bed, modern flat-screen TV). Excellent location near the railway station. Stairs up to reception (no lift). BBC World not working on TV. Some noise from other guests in the corridor late at night.
Very nice big room. Decent breakfast. Very nice attentive staff. Convenient location next to the train station (this also had some downsides) and close to the historic centre. Very reasonable price. Good value for money, recommended for one-night stays, short visits to the city and business trips. The location is convenient in terms of transport (next to the train station and a short walk to the historic centre). The view from the room (for those rooms facing the railway tracks) and the noise from the trains may bother some guests. I personally did not find this was a problem once I closed the window and the convenient blind. The area is not welcoming at all at night and I would not have wondered around on my own at night in the hotel area, but it was perfectly OK during the day. The price and facilities (and even the location) make it very convenient for a one night stay or for a business trip if you do not plan to wonder around at night on your own.
very close to the train station
Central location, fair prize Size of the room (203). Well equipped, but definitely very small
Made to feel welcome. Late night bar staff very hard to find. Car park full.
cleanliness of the room and hotel's facilities
closed to the train station breakfast, staff , internet, room design
Comfortable room Very poor breakfast
Reception staff very helpful.Room very comfortable with large bathroom. Very close to rail and bus station, so easy for travel to other places. Location. Did not feel safe on streets even in daytime. Certainly would not venture out when dark.
the cleanliness parking, communal abbilities
Excellent modern hotel. Dealt well with two coach parties at breakfast by utilising separate rooms from the main breakfast area. Very close to Brescia station, great base for Lago Iseo and with easy train links to Bergamo, Milano and Verona.
It was very close the the train station. Nothing
It is directly accross from the train station so very easy to get to places like Verona, Milan etc, Brescia is beautiful and full of hidden gems and you can walk to all of these within 5, 10 or 15mins from this hotel. Reasonably priced. In bad area-only bad bit of Brescia we ever found.Read on trip advisor that a few older couples thought it was unsafe at night-took that with pinch of salt thinking they mustnt like young people hanging around-wrong!On the Sat night my fiance went out to get a bottle of wine and came back 5 mins later white as a sheet,he had been propostitioned by 2 hookers and 3 drug dealers within 5 mins, over at the Pizza shop. He then saw dealers being bundled into police vans and we saw 2 fights between dealers almost at the front door of the hotel. If you are street smart you wont mind it too much,I would never let it put me off Brescia its amazing.Staff didnt know where a supermarket was(right round corner)and they dont cash travellers cheques!!!(??)
the breakfasts; friendly bar service in the evening despite our being the only people in the bar if you had the window open at night, it was noisy; if you did not it was too hot.
the bed was very comfortable and the staff helpful. the noise
We mostly liked the sincere, accomodating staff. They really went out of their way to make the guests feel comfortable and to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. Nothing
hotel workers it is an old hotel, and that reduces the hotel confort... A new refurbishement would improve teh hotel quality
Friedly staff A little bit noisy during the night (because of the ambulances) because too close to the hospital
Special kindness of the staff
Service was excellent Lights need to be on in the Gym....
Staff, hospitality, friendliness, professionalism. Would stay there again if visiting Brescia. Decor a bit shabby. Not 4 star starndard as far as design is concerned.
It was nice and homely and especially the reception staff was very kind and helpful/The loby was nice and the breakfast was quite good although i could not touch the lovely cakes due to my diet
Good location close to old town centre, helpful staff, good air-conditioning in room, good value dinner. Hotel decor is quite dated and looks tired in places. Room was small.and dark.
friendly staff too far from city centre, not 4 star facilities
Easy access with car. The hotel is very shabby..and would need to be seriously refreshed. The breakfast should have been included in the price.
friendly staff, good restaurant, good location which was easy to find, quiet rooms (even the location is nearby the main road) the water in shower could be warmer
good availability to public transport. an excellent breakfast. polite staff.
Comfortable pillows (unlike most hotels in Italy), clean and we didn't get bitten by bed bugs. The road was very noisy and the windows weren't very noise insulating.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was better than I expected for an Italian hotel, amongst the usual salami, cheese, croissants, etc, it also included hot omellete one day, scrambled eggs the next. Free car park was a bonus. The room was on the small side for 3 people but then the price was very good so we can't really complain.
restaurant and the secure hotel garage
Easy acces. Room close to main road!
The room was attractively decorated with period furniture; the location was easily accessible and free parking was available. They had a restaurant, but it was not open for dinner. However, the clerk recommended one a short walk from the hotel, which appeared to be very popular with the locals, and which was in fact, good and not too expensive.
New, reachable Noisy at night, no english speaking at the reception
The restaurant is very good, albeit not cheap The toilet and shower are too small and very inconvenient. The staff was not very helpful at times - for example when requesting an Iron the answer was simply "no, we don't have one, sorry", instead of offering to dispatch the clothes to an ironing service.
Frendly staff, good restaurant, nice rooms bath room a bit small, but OK for a short stay
The welcome and cleanliness. The bedroom was very nicely furnished The environment in the industrial part and the size of the bathroom. But it's ok for 1 night.
the excellent food and super wine list and the genuine welcome
Ease of access from motorway & friendly staff
great restaurant (higher price level), cosy atmosphere difficult to find without gps
Excellent but expensive restaurant
Good price, close to motorway and industrial area, nice decor I arrived too late to try the restaurant (lots of good reviews). Also the bed more a 'Mummy bear' bed, I'm more of a 'Daddy bear' bed man.
The room and facilities were excellent - the food was out of this world ( a gastronomic experience) It was quite far out of the the centre and although the bus stop was at the end of the road we had know idea where we needed to get off in Brescia. It would have been nice to have an area map and some tourist information.
The room was OK and the price was good some of the lifts didn't work. The staff didn't seem to care!!! the swimming pool floor was under restoration, so we couldn't enjoy it (we discovered it only when we arrived, nobody told us about it before)
Very comfortable apartments, big room, equipped kitchenette, helpful staff a microwave and electric kettle/coffee machine would be nice to have too. Breakfast was quite poor.
the room was big and equipped with a small kitchen, the view was mountains. the breakfast was poor
Good Car Parking, easy to find, comfortable bed, pleasant bathroom, and generally good value all round plus bus stop to centre right outside. Nothing considering the cost.
Staff was professional, well speaking and the swimmingpool, WiFi, Garage etc are great! We booked a room with balcony but it took 5 nights to receive this. My keycard failed once and the entrance-lock to our appartement broke down ending op with a conventional key to carry arround. There are construction workers all around outside the building and the continiously coming and going of ambulances from the nextdoor hospital is something to remember.
The hotel was fantastic in overall, close to the city centre. The staff was very helpful and the Wi-Fi access a plus.
The staff was warm, welcoming, helpful and genuinely friendly. Our children (aged 6 and 8) were also very welcome. The garden view room with aircon was tremendously spacious for a family of four. The two extra beds fitted in nicely without making the room crowdy. The bathroom was also a nice surprise - lots of room and shiny white tiles. The cleaners did an excellent job! Our garden room with a small terrace was really nice and quiet - the three different wedding receptions during the weekend did not cause any commotion, luckily they were a bit further from our room. The hotel organised a spot on custom made "taxi/limousine" service whenever we wanted to go to Iseo centre. Excellent pool and jacuzzi + marvellous views! Will return. The bees by the pool and breakfast area were numerous.
Everything was perfect! The location is outstanding, the staff always willing to help and very professional but the hands down winner has to be the food which was absolutely incredible. I am not usually one to leave reviews but I had to make exceptions for i due roccoli!
It was cold in the breakfast-room, and we Norwegians do not like twin blankets to share!
lovely view from the room and stunning food
The view from our room and the breakfast room
Idilic setting No bar service
The view lake There are some few small details (like the cheap carpet in the room or the accessories in the bathroom) that are not completely in line with the structure. It could be much nicer.
Awesome view. Average food. This facility was probably awesome in 1990. Still worth the stay. Bathroom was a bit beat up.
very relaxing, lovely staff, amazing view of the lake from room, great food!
superb views bathroom toiletries limited quality in this price range of hotel ,,,plastic sachets
great place for relaxing, very short way to the lake and to the city centre, wonderful landscape, nice rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast
The hotel has been refurbished and is now very comfortable, even carpeted corridors, unusual in Italy. Large elevator. Easy parking on hotel terrace. Balconies overlooking lake. Easy walk to centre of town. Very lavish breakfast buffet, should suit anyone. Safe in room.
Friendly staff, good facilities and location. The pool is very nice, we had to ask for extra towels. Nice breakfast. The staff good have more information about sightseeing etc. Overall a good value.
What a pleasant stay!! Great room, great service, excellent breakfast. Which bad points?
The location(close to leke), the room, cleanliness, staff, breakfast, lake view, environment, value for money, parking
