Excellent food. Friendly hostess. Parking very nearby.
Pleasant, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Good location for visiting surrounding area. Good off-road car park nearby. Renovations seem to have been going on for some time.
Staff was friendly. The room was clean. outdated style, and the stairway smelled of smoke.
we felt that the hotel personal really cared about us
really friendly english speaking owner, allowed secure off road parking for motorcycle, lift, breakfast very good lots of choice, situated in a pleasent small spa town
The friendliness of the owners, the cleanliness of the room mnd the general atmosphere
The management was very friendly and helpful
I recommend this small Hotel. The view to the Castle is very nice. Nearby Bad Kreuznach is great for shopping.I'll stay at the Hotel again.
Really pleasant and helpful reception. Room comfortable but a little spartan but then again it is not an expensive hotel
A terrific, lovely small hotel. Our room had a bright, airy feeling, with a magnificent view of the castle which is on top of an adjoining hill - it certainly fit the name "BurgBlick". The beds were comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. All of the staff was very cheerful and helpful. As a bonus, their restaurant is very good, with a diversified menu, tasty food, friendly servers and reasonable prices. We consider this hotel to be an excellent value.
The room was very clean, in the center of town, with a small sitting area and a television with CNN.
location in the town centre, at the start of the pedestrian area. Good for seeing the town without moving the car. quite hard to find due to its situation, difficult to park until the hotel provided the parking pass for the underground place.
Personnel, location - beautiful!
good large room
Silence place, breakfast ok. Beautiful small village
location, good friendly hotel
I knew the town more than 50 years ago and that's why I stopped there on my way to Sweden!! It's for geriatric seniors,;which I am most decidedly not
friendly staff very noisy street with a high level of auto traffic late into the night which made sleeping difficult. With no AC, as with most hotels in this area, windows need to be open to get cool air into the room.
A very quiet, peaceful hotel in a small village with views over open countryside. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The room was a good size and very clean, with very good bathroom facilities. Room was too cold at night, and inadequate bedding was provided.
The place, the spa facilities, the view, the spacious room, the food, the reception, the proximity to the Baderhaus On the whole all was good
Comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. No
Spa facilities, restaurant, location.
Very relaxed feel to the hotel, open almost 24 hours, easy to come in and out, the staff were always there and very helpful, the location is central to everywhere but quiet Free internet access would be ideal
Classical hotel nicely located in a park with free access to thermal pool. In addition, there's a bathing house with sauna's next to the hotel. Breakfast is excellent and paid parking is in front of the hotel. Since I did not like the single room they gave me, I received a free upgrade to a double room. The hotel is not very new and that includes the rooms - has it's charm though. Wifi should be free in my opinion.
Good location, surrounded with river and the park which is nice for the kids to run around but wish there is a play ground in the park. nice walking path up to the vineyard. walking distance to the centre. Good buffet breakfast, free access to adjacent thermal bath. in hotel spa centre, clean and quiet room. There wasn't an outdoor/indoor play ground area for the kids. No free internet access.
Magnificent location with gardens and riverside walks with vinyards above. Excellent hot and cold breakfast buffet. Exceptionally quick check-in and efficient reception. Poorly equipped bedroom: mean thin towels, no robes, no mini-bar or refridgerator, tiny uncomfortable pillows.
Breakfast We stayed next to dogs that barked for hours while the owners were out.Staff said there was nothing they could do.They said it wasn't there fault!I have a responsibility to pay the bill and they have a responsibility to give a relaxing atmosphere. They didn't keep their end of the bargain and offered no reduction as a way of saying sorry.I left a comment card and send an e-mail but no response!!
Very quiet hotel with wonderful location, thermal baths and good breakfast. There was no fridge or minibar in the room.
Nice staff but there was no one in the reception when we arrived (we waited about 15 min.) - we had to go to the restaurant to find someone! Very old hotel. Not good value for money! You have to pay extra to use the Sauna (not mentioned anywhere when you book the hotel).
Excellent site and good value for money.
It was quite a convenient place to stop off on route from Italy to Belgium. Run down and a little shabby, no mention of the large hospital across the street from which there was considerable early morning noise. No other guests in the hotel.
Set amidst lovely, peaceful, lush green countryside, ideal for those of us who live rurally and are used to open spaces, peace & quiet. A lovely, welcoming place with very friendly and patient staff - particularly with my faltering German! Clean & comfortable rooms plus good food & beer, we hope to stay here again on our next trip to the local 'weinguter'
Personal approach and attention was perfect but not too familiar; good balance!
The quiet location, food and generous breakfast selections. Hosts were excellant and very responsive to requests.
The food and dinners and of course the price. There was a lovely atmosphere in the dining room at night and the meals were superb. The grandmother was very caring and attentive. A lovely place. No curtains on the bedroom windows only see through nets. This was a pity and would not cost much to have
The hotel is situated next to a river and a park area. We found it to be enjoyable to stroll along the river after having dinner. The atmosphere was quite and serene. The website gave the illusion that the pool was at the hotel.
stuff attitude rugs oldnes
Comfortable and quite, enjoyed our stay. The leisure area was small, but there were few other patrons so we really enjoyed it.
Great location, free parking, great breakfast, small pool and sun area. It would have been great to have a safe and a mini refrig in room.
Very slow wireless Internet connection. Cable connection not available.
proximity to Baderhaus and Naha River No place to eat locally after midnight
The staff were helpful, keeping the restaurant open late when we were tired and hungry at the end of a long day. The "Wellness Centre" is small but adequate, and the location is fairly quiet and just across the road from the river. There were a couple of niggles: the plug in the bathroom basin did not seal properly, and the bathroom itself was very dark, with dark brown tiles and only one light, above the basin mirror.
Family run with friendly and helpful staff. Good but limited menu. Close to pedestrian zone with own parking.
Your staff was very helpful..and friendly...and the fact they spoke English was nice
excellent food, nice staff, good location. The room was small (rooms for 1 person use to be small) but very clean, comfortable and with a nice view.
Comfortable room, free internet connection, very well situated
The people are very nice, even when we checked in at midnight. It has a very cosy feeling. We chose the hotel for an overnight while traveling to another location and it was a nice surprise.
A modernly-styled, very clean hotel. Our top-floor room was a bit small, but well appointed. Comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom. Frau Kugel runs the whole show, including breakfast and payments. She doesn't speak English, but is very cordial and as helpful as she can be. If you are going to check in late, make sure you notify them. There is no night desk attendant, so they will give you the numbers for the lock on the main door and will leave your room key-cards in an envelope inside the entrance. Also be aware that you have to insert one of the key-cards in the holder on the wall of your room to turn on the electricity.
We visited the castles along the Rhine River. The hotel was very conveniently located (about fifteen minute drive from first castle on the Rhine). As the hotel was not in the city, it was quiet so we left our windows open & listened to the birds. The breakfast service in the morning was excellent! Shower was very tight fit (but it was in room!) & there was no sitting chair in the room (but there was one in the hallway outside the room). Bed could have used a "pillow top", it was very firm. No english speaking staff. An important note that should be mentioned somewhere on you site is that the room key card operates the electricity for the room.
Very special beautiful hotel with extremely friendly hostess. Every room has special design and well equipped with free wireless internet . Good place for the region exploring by car or bicycle. During our stay most of the hotel staff were ill and there were no English speaking person.
Very clean and original, nice staff.
Quiet and relaxing atmosphere in lovely surroundings. A drive to the nearest town, but a very picturesque town. Manager/Owner not always on site- talked to her on the phone but very accommodating when asked for certain things. No coffee making facilities in the room which is not unusual in German Hotels.
Well appointed and designed. Nice location close to Rhineland wineries and spa at Bad Kreuznach. Very few staff and diffficult to find for local advice etc. A little over-priced given this level of service.
Nice hotel, clean room, good breakfast. Room at roadside - to much noice.
Nice modern hotel that had been converted from older buildings. Difficult to book in as no one at hand when we arrived, and had to seek help from 'next door' with entry to our room
The hotel was spotless and the breakfast buffet was varied and there was good choice. It was difficult communicating since we do not speak German, and there was no one with English. We did succeed with sign language!
