We arrived late and left early but enjoyed the hotel.
Breakfast was wonderful, room very nice. A little out of the way from the center of town.
location for visiting the surrounding region found the internet connection in my room intermittant and unreliable
The location of the hotel is very good being near to the station and the old town.
The closness to the railway station and the buffet breakfast Yes yes yes
Near the town but in the wrong end of the city. The road og the railway beside the hotel
Next to Old Town center, staff pleasant & helpful, one girl at desk spoke reasonably fluent in English (we speak no German), good breakfast buffet in pleasant dining room, gave us directions and discount coupon to a nice restaurant within a 5 minute drive from hotel, nice landscaping, clean and quiet with windows closed even though railroad tracks across the street.. Twin beds instead of a double. Room best described as Spartan - similar to a college dorm room but good value for the price. Internet in access in room did not work.
Very quiet place Breakfest was enoug all the time, sort suppy of food at times
It's proximity to the Wittenberg historical attractions. The room was very small.
The hotel was clean, equipped with an elevator (lift), and the breakfast was excellent. The pay per hour internet worked well in the bar/breakfast area. The close proximity to the railway tracks made for a noisy stay. Fortunately, it was not too hot and we could close the windows. Having to go to the bar/breakfast area to use the internet was inconvenient, since we were using skype to call home to Canada and there were other guests in the room. Next time we will stay in a hotel closer to the main square.
Hotel is functional and comfortable and conveniently located, easy walking distance to the old town square in one direction and Luther House in the opposite . Is part of a Christian chain with trappings of same, which seems highly appropriate for the location but might be a surprise if unexpected. The main route to the town is a bit uneven and ill-lit at night, possibly due to construction works at the time we were there. For elderly guests need to take care
It was very close to town, well actually right in town. Close to all the historical sights. We also had a gorgeous veiw of the city. The sauna was AWESOME! We got to listen to classical piano as we relaxed there. It was a good breakfast, and the staff was friendly. They had free internet access, which was nice. We had everything we needed, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Great location, clean, comfortable, wonderful staff. Breakfast was good too.
we liked the central location, clealiness, friendly and helpful hotel staff and a fantastic breakfast buffet.N/A N/A
The Luther hotel was in the old town and very close to all of the Luther sites. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, nice, and the breakfast was very good too! The hotel had kind of a funny smell to it; possibly, the cleaning supplies used at the hotel.
Nice hotel, good staff and rooms and breakfast no internet working at all
Nice and quiet
There was no air conditioning as I was lead to believe by your booking company.
breakfast, location, staff noise from the street was extreme. ask for a room in back
Central location. Bi-weekly (or so) morning prayer service in the hotel. Excellent breakfast.
The price, and he location, Not really
the spa/sauna was quite nice! staff was friendly and tried to please us!
Great location, comfortable room for 3 women, good restaurant on-site. From our experience, most hotels in Germany include breakfast; unfortunately this one did not, unless we wanted to pay extra.
Comfortable, quiet and in central location. Friendly staff. wireless broadband had poor signal in our part of the hotel
Friendly staff. Good room. Car access is difficult without a detailed map showing the one-way traffic system
Very well situated. Friedly staff.
The location is excelent, right in the middle of the city. The staff were really nice and helpful.
In the centrum
It's very close to points of interest in Lutherstadt, the hotel staff showed us to our rooms and set up a very nice breakfast with yogurt, rolls, butter, jam, sliced meats and cheese, fruit, pastries and fruit smoothie. There were no washcloths.
Hotel is small and friendly and has been completely rennovated. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was awsome - great selection of local food and copious amounts. Service was excellent. Just a caution - there is no elevator. Stairs are narrow and steep. There are four floors.
very comfortable and clean room
Great location in Witteneurg at a price that can't be beat. We ate a dinner and two breakfasts there which were quite good. We had a spacious, clean room and a very nice bathroom. Although we speak no German and their English was marginal, the staff was helpful and very pleasant. I strongly recommend this hotel.
The breakfast was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and kind. the rooms were very comfortable. Can't complain about anything. Good location. The staircase was the only drawback.
the staff were friendly, the room was clean and with all comforts, the location conveniently located to visit Wittenberg. Also the restaurant is very good and provides the opportunity to taste local specialities no
Good Breakfast, easy to walk to the town. Not english speaking hard to communicate
Hotel is very convenient for visiting the Martin Luther sites and serves a fabulous breakfast.
Great rooms - we booked a room for 5 people and expected one room with a pullout. What we got was two BIG adjoining rooms - one with two beds and one with 3 beds. Huge breakfast! Definately a place we would stay again.
Location to Luther locations is fantastic , all within walking distance. Great parking right at their door. Room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was large. Table that was set was beautiful.
Very comfortable, clean and calm. Low price high quality service.
The facility was clean, the service was acceptable and the setting is beautiful.
They were very accomodating to our large family. Even set a special table for us for breakfast. Booking site said we could put an extra bed into a double room. When we checked in, they said the rooms were too small.
The hotel, it garden/ patio and privacy were very desirable. The historic and reconstruction photos in the lobby of the hotel were a feature we found very interesting. As the hotel does not have an elevator, having an option on the website that allows aging patrons to sign up for ground level rooms would have been of value in our case. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent.
The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent, staff is very friendly, rooms are comfortable.
Nice quiet hotel. Staff generally tried to be helpful. Grounds are pleasant. Everything is neat, clean and modern. Breakfast on the second day was lacking tea and we had to ask especially. Have stayed here before and had a bigger room so was a little disappointed by the size of the room and the noise from next door's TV. One light did not work and the lady next door could not get any pressure in her shower.
Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would have stayed longer if we could have. Good signage along the highways to aid in finding the hotel.
Excellent food, good and friendly service, accommodation itself is rather basic but not in any negative way; it suited my purposes - this was my third visit there.
The staff was cordial and helpful. We appreciated the free wi-fi. THe food at the restaurant and at breakfast was excellent as was thservice. The grounds provided lovely vista and a place for a morning walk. One more sign outside the gates would have been helpful. We backtracked when we saw a "private property" sign near the gate as from the lane the property is not idintifiable as a hotel.
Quiet, clean, with friendly staff. There are historic photos of the hotel hanging in the lobby; these are quite interesting. The hotel is near Wittenberg, so good restaurants and shopping are nearby. Good value for money.
Large room in excellent location
Friendly staff, very nice rooms, good location, 15 minutes drive from autobahn
The people were very friendly The room kind of smelled when heat was on.
perfect localization , historical place, big parking
The setting was attractive, there was responsive service as staff tried hard to please and there was a great view from our room. The breakfast buffet was very good. The dining room sometimes had an unappealing odour, perhaps from the kitchen. Apart from the breakfast buffet, the food (a featured focus of the hotel) was boring and made little use of the excellent raw ingredients.
Great location next to the Castle Church. Extremely comfortable Room. Great Staff. Nothing
Perfect location accross the street from Martin Luther's castle church. Rooms were five star quality, some have kitchens. Service was very good. Have toys for the kids to play with, have a nice garden in the back for the adults. Food was very good in the hotel rest. I have given up on the star ratings as I have found them to be meaningless. This hotel is better than many "five star resorts", but at a much more reasonable price. Nothing.
Our stay was perfect, we were right opposite the famous church where Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis in the most historic section of town. The hotel service and staff are simplý great and very helpful, go for the large, Martin Luther King room. We ate at the restuarant and the meal was excellent
The staff was very friendly and quite patient with my clumsy German. The included breakfast was beautiful, bounteous, and tasty. My family (including three teenagers) left the table full. My wife was especially pleased with the cleanliness and the layout of the apartment. The parking was a trifle tight and the location is a bit distant from our touring in Wittenberg, but we knew that going in. The value was a fair trade for the distance.
Quite area Too far out of the city and without public transport
Very Helpful Staff. Very Interesting history of this hotel & grounds. Beautiful location. Not a complaint, but I think you should have a pamphlet describing the history of your hotel & grounds (perhaps in English, as well).
The hotel was simple but very nice!!
Extremely helpful staff; for example, they served us dinner when the resturent was closed for a wedding reception. Convenient location for downtown Wettenburg by car.
We stayed in the Bruckenkopf Hotel because we were at a festival 25km away, it was dead handy and the staff were very nice, I found the hotel was lovely and well kept.
its good.. and very quiet. place...and friendly there but to far from the city center!!~
Very spacious apartment, excellent view of the Elbe across from Lutherstadt Wittenburg. Great campsites at this location. availability of restaurants on site. The place has alot of potential but doesn't seem to have enough staff.
The old building Too spartan
The commitment of all the boys to get a little toey Everything! There was a devil woman behind the counter who hated us, it was a trek from anywhere, there was nothing to do, noone spoke english, it was the worst place i have visited.
This was a nice hotel. The location was very quiet but we were there in November. The linens were clean and the facility was ready for us. The kitchen dishes and utensils were ample for 3. There were a number of dead insects indicating that the room had not been used in a while. We needed to request more linens even though the reservation was for three. And, finally, the lights were not all working but the hotel staff were willing to take care of this right away.
Very quiet location in the middle of the forest, very relaxing. It was hard to find as the street name was not recognised by the Sat Nav. Also quite a long way from Leipzig.
No cleaning during the two days we stayed, and no new towels... Noone spoke any Enlish at all. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Nothing at all to do. Food and drinks were expensive.
