Pros: Breakfast was fresh and good. The pool was just right and the owners/staff were very friendly. An excellent hotel for travellers and also for those wanting to explore the historic area of Jaen.
Pros: We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at the Hotel Palacio del Intendente and it was in an excellent position for a stop over on our way back to Ciudad Real Airport being only 5 mins off the main A4 motorway. The reception staff made us feel very welcome and did everythning they could to make our stay enjoyable. The Hotel is a beautiful building which is very well cared for and we appreciaed the lovely surroundings.
Pros: The hotel is a renovation project that took 3 years to complete to an extremely high standard. Therefore, as you would expect from such a project, the hotel is charming and spotless. It is positioned in the center of a charming village with a tapas/restuarant bar, chemist, 2 banks, supermarket and bakery within 100m. There is plenty of parking just outside the hotel on the main street. The hotel owners (Luis Miguel and Juana María) are particularly welcoming and will do anything to please their guests. Most people use the hotel as a stopover as it is just off the main Madrid-Seville motorway, however it is also a great place to stay to enjoy the local white villages and spectacular scenary in the national parks. Highly recommended.
Cons: It is not possible to fault the hotel and the levels of service.
Pros: A real taste of Spain located just off the main route through Spain , Ideal for a stop over. Very comfortable and clean.
Pros: The hotel owner and his wife were helpful and very welcoming. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, newly renovated and decorated and has a real wow factor for such a small, inexpensive place - the lighting in the communal areas in particular is subtle and helps to create a warm atmosphere. The hotel has a contemporary design in an old building whilst still maintaining traditional values and charm.. It is well placed for the main (A4?) motorway and represented excellent value for money in an interesting part of Spain. We only stayed for one night but would have liked to have had more time to explore the surrounding area. We will definitely go back and have already recommened it to others.

Pros: Somewhat centrally located to the places we wanted to travel to.
Cons: We stayed on a Friday night. The walls are so thin that we could hear the person in the room next to us coughing. There were about 15 kids on the street corner from about 11 pm to 3 am and you could hear every word they said. Plus all of there yelling and screaming and racing their mopeds/motorbikes up and down the street all night long. I probably got 3 hours sleep that night. Luckily it was only one night. Plus the tub had hair in the drain...
Pros: We had a bath with waterjets.
Cons: Hotel is nearby a busy road, very noisy. The room is outdated and the carpet in the hall needs to be renewed ! No free parking.
