The hotel is clean and well maintained, and less than 4km from the Ferrari Galleria. The breakfast is a great typical European breakfast in a nice breakfast room, with coffee made to order. Parking is excellent, and the private balcony for each room is a nice bonus. We have nothing negative to say, but to keep expectations realistic we should mention that the interior decoration and furnishings feels very early 80's - well maintained, but old.
Digital TV seemed to be BBC WORLD only.
Nice hotel. In the middle of nowhere. Very nice if you had a car, but not if you were travelling by train like we were.
Enough parking space in front of the hotel. Relative close to the Ferrari gallaria and the Fiorano test circuit. Low level hotel. None-italian Sat-TV did not work.
Restaurant and Reception staff Horel address does not appear on Sat Nav - big problem that the hotel is aware of. They will give rear address if they know you are arriving by car and using Sat Nav. Had huge difficulty finding the hotel and found it only by luck.
Nothing We were supposed to stay at the hotel for 4 nights however after the first night we left. It was not as we expected we were the only occupants of the hotel. At breakfast we only took a cup of capuccino since we were afraid of the other things the orange juice looked terrible. Terrific Experience
This Hotel a simple (at least our room), but clean and comfortable one, the staff was really helpful and kind. Hotel is located in calm place, so it is good for relax. The restaurant was delicious. Just an (economic) opinion about stars. I think this Hotel is rather 3* than 4* (in my view), but anyhow it is worth paying for this.
The resteraunt was a of a good quality, the room was comfortable and the staff helpful Location wasn the best
everything was great!
Clean, convenient, inexpensive
good position and value, freindly staff my colleague had sky in his room but there wasn't one in mine
Only one towel in the room, extreme smell of smoke
The location is perfect indeed, central and very quiet There was nobody available at the reception to show us the way to the hotel (Hotel Reggio is a dependence of Hotel Posta), the reception guy was quite rude. The room was dark, two lamps didn't work, both windows looked on a dark courtyard
room, breakfast it is not nessesery to change the towels every day
This hotel is annex of hotel Post. Please inform your customers to go at the reception of Post hotel because Albergo Reggio has not own reception and nothing on the door of Albergo says for example :first road turn right and then left and after 100meter is the reception of Hotel Post.Especially when somebody arrives in the midnight at the town..
Very difficult to locate due traffic restrictions in town center. No parking here, staff at Hotel Posta unable to give directions, saved by man on bicycle who took us. We were transferred at no extra charge to a room at Hotel Posta which was a plus. The garage is small and an early arrival is recommended. This was the most noisy hotel we have stayed in for years, from the street outside.
Very traditional, nice rooms
Fantastic room, big bright and clean, really central location, helpful staff. Don't try and park anywhere nearby! Located in the centre of mainly pedestrianised old town, so difficult to find any parking anywhere near the hotel. Reception is actually at a separate hotel 5 mins walk away - there are no signs when you arrive, and when we rang to try and find the hotel, the receptionist was unable to give us clear directions on how to get to the check in hotel.
piazzas shops and small friendly bars with lovely redwine and gorgeous bar snacks in a traditional italian setting
location staff was not the kindest
The hotel was very clean and tastefully built. The interiors of the rooms were of good design and colours. The hotel had good engineering done in order to save power and at the same time provide comfort. Good breakfast. The room did not have an electric water kettle and therefore no arrangement for making tea or coffee, which, according to me is a basic requirement now a days.
Very comfortable room, large bathroom, good food in restaurant, excellent breakfast buffet, plenty of parking space. Town of Regio Emilia is well worth a visit. Hotel is not within walking distance of town, but this does mean that parking is no problem.
free internet connection was good tea/coffe facilities in room would have been useful cooked breakfast poor and cold but rest of buffet ok
access from motorway The hotel was full and I got a smoking room, which stank
Free internet connection
Hotel is near to the exhibition centre in Riggio Emilla only €8.00 in a taxi which come in five minutes
During our visit end of April it was very hot and the airconditioning in the room could not be switched on according to the staff. A/c in public areas worked. Lunch facilities are minimal. A translation of the minimal menu into other languages would be appreciated, as the waiter knew no other language.
Loved the split level room with the kids upstairs
The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and spacious. Location was ideal for our needs.
Friendly and helpful service. Excellent location.
The staff were extremely helpful providing invaluable advice on the route we needed to take to drop our hire car off in Bologna as we as the local signts.
The staff was awesome in helping us out, the location was fabulous and the room was excellent!
Just great for Ferrari fans. Two huge beds in triple room(we fit 3 kids in one of them!), lovely staff, good breakfast.
Nice and helpfull staff. Air conditioning: was cool in July and quiet. Very close tto Ferrai Factory entrance, shop and and 5 minutes walk to Ferrari Gallery, test drive points. 10 min walk to the centre of Maranello. Small and comfortable, new, clean hotel with the parking just in front of it. Good choice.
The hotel is ideally placed for a visit to Ferrari. The Factory literally surrounds the hotel. The Ferrari store is in the same building. The Galleria (Museum) is 2 short blocks away, and the Maranello Test Track is 200 yards away. You can hear the engines sing from the balcony. The only things I could say I didn't like was the lack of English TV channels (2 news channels) and the continental breakfast was a bit light for me - it was all good, but I am a heavy breakfast eater.
Staff were the standout, very friendly and always eager to help you with any questions you might have. The rooms are also very good, modern, comfortable and I reallty appreciate having the balcony. Best (and cheapest by some margin) hotel I stayed at in Italy
The location was great for us since we were in Maranello for a tour of the Ferrari factory. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but adequate.
shuttkeservice to the city airco didnot function well. no minibar
The breakfast was poor
On our way to Tuscany. The hotel location was good, easy to access. Yes, breakfast was under all acceptance. The breakfast staff was unfriendly and there was hardly anything left to eat. How can you run out of bread one hour before breakfast ends???
breakfast was very good specially in italian conditions, not only coffe :) good location, near highway
Better breakfast than expected! Easy to reach and near the autostrada. Need to have a car to get in to city center, but works well. Good capacity of the air condition.
Very nice staff, very clean, great food!
Good location and economical comfort Missing the facility of an outside seat for the use of smokers
very good location good parking nice selection for breakfast
Nice, new and modern hotel, friendly staff, good value for money. Little far from downtown, but this what not a problem for me. I will like stay again in future.
friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast fine no cupboard in the room, only 1 chair for 2 persons
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They worked hard to bridge the language gap. The value was great. The showers are very small and tended to create puddles on the floor.
We loved to stay at the hotel. It is old fashioned, for me very nice. The hotel staff was realy nice, they did not complicate for our xxl dog. All our questions were answered. If I will stay in Reggio Emilia again I will definitely go there again (especialy if prices stay the same). I would just like softer quilts. They were very rough.
Friendly Staff Bathroom in particular very poor condition, the breakfast was very poor all done on plastic plates etc and very poor quality . We were bitten by insects . For a place as hot as reggio not having air con seems strange and not comfortable. It seemed more like a 1 star or less than a 2 star. Worst hotel we stayed in in Europe.
The staff is very kind and allways is willing to help.
Clean, comfortable, quiet Waiting for check in
Nice small hotel with very friendly staff. Good location just in the middle of the centre. Breakfast could improve a lot.
Located in the midle of ancient city.
Frienliness and helpfulness of the staff Cafe latte every morning.
Great room, nice view and very polite staff. The price is also accesible. It's good place for anyone who want spend time in Emilia-Romania. From Reggio is very close to Bologna, Venice and Verona. We spend nice week there and recommended anyone who would like see central Italy.
The best part of the stay was the warm and friendly staff who create a family like environment for their guests. A boiled egg for breakfast would have been nice for a change as we had a long stay at the hotel as well as some fresh fruits.
the clean room, silence at night, good air-condition additional payment for wellnes
Excellent hotel, more a quality business than a holiday hotel, comfortable large bed and good bathroom facilites. We had to ask almost every day for a second glass in the room, the reason every time was "sorry this is more a business hotel and the rooms are normally occupied by one person" surely the housekeeping staff could see both sides of the bed had been used or there were two toothbrushes............
The room was excellent and very quiet, the hotel was beautiful The environment was not nice (industry and highroad), no walking facilities, the terrace was not usable because too warm; the television set was not good quality; no internet facilities
Excellant hotel , staff very helpful . No
Nice rooms, luxury hall, quite
Facilities are not not included in the price. you have to pay an extra fee for them.
I was wake up at 6:30 because the hotel staff did not check the reset of the parameter of the TV clock. I have planned to wake up at 7:30, and one hour in advance disturbed me a lot. It was not easy to find with navigator because it was in a different location that the one they put in the web site.
God position respect to the Highway. Nice rooom, clean, pleasant colours and style. Satisfactory continental breakfast. Parking place outside or pay parking in the hotel's parking. Very confortable and pleasant Lobby, bar, Wi Fi internet. Internet didn't work in the room.
Food was good, a pity the dining room looks more like a ball room.Whereas the breakfast room is really cosy one needs a car, it is too far from center
The accessibility of the restaurant and the excellence of the meal both for dinner and the breakfast buffet not a real double bed...2 singles pushed together
The staff were very polite & friendly, especially in the dining room. We've stayed there a number of times because of it's great location next to a wonderful park in Reggio Emilia.
Very good location, in a green park, some minutes from the downtown. Nice, clean room. The bathroom should been renovated a bit.
The position of the hotel is very good. The area is lovely and full of restaurant and places to see. The classic rooms are very poor 2 star, but the superior rooms are of a 4 star standard.
That internet was available in our room on the tv for a small cost and having a gym available.
The location was great, right on the edge of a lovely park and within walking distance of the sites in the city center.
nothing I stayed there for over 2 weeks and never once got a smile from any staff. Food was too expensive also. Air con kept breaking down. If I wanted to use the gym I had to keep phoning reception to come and open it which would take them ages.
this time I've got a good price for the room; but normally prices are higher; good position and access
Good quality hotel near to town centre Nothing
The staff was very helpful and friendly Bathrooms are outdated - rooms are completely renovated and very pleasant, but they forgot about the bathrooms.......
The reception staff made me and my wife(african) feel unwanted
Wonderful hotel Located directly opposite Ferrari factory. Beautifully appointed. Excellent knowledgeable staff. Breakfast included and better quality than most hotels free wifi would have been nice
Great place to stay if you want to visit Ferrari land. Very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant and friendly helpful staff.
great receptionst, handy location, very clean and fgood size rooms very hard to find in a little town. need more signposts on main road. very disappointed that gym was closed
The wonderful atmosphere related to the Ferrari myth; the very spacious instalations of this hotel; the quiet surroundings. Nothing at all
The service was great. Location was perfectly placed for local attractions. Parking was perfect. Quality was perfect. The drinks were very, very expensive. £20 for two drinks is too much!
Spacious room & bathroom Restaurant was not in operation and it was quite a walk to restaurants
Location was great. Amenities were good. Difficult to assess as most of the hotel staff was on vacation.
The taxis comms only from Modena! So they are very expensive
Staff talked very good English. Kitchen good. Room very spacious. Bar facilities good. none
Easy to find across from Ferrari factory. Great value for money. Very modern facilities, decor, and fixtures. internet not free, not wireless, but not unreasonable either. not much besides Ferrari in Maranello
I enjoyed the hotels float proximity to maranello and the attached restaurant
very good customer service, friendly and helpfull. nice and warm atmosphere, lovely outdoor terrasse, feeling like in a house and not in an hotel. well located, close from maranello with country side around. it just exceeded our expectations!!! nothing
Very well decorated. Warm and cosy. Very helpful and kind personel. The hotel stuff was around to check if everything runs as should.
Hotel Locanda Del Mulino doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside the rooms are both quaint and modern at the same time. The skye tv and adsl internet are both welcome. There is a great restaurant attached to the hotel that serves local cuisine which is different than anywhere else in Italy.
very comfortable and clean hard to find and not that close to Modena
I have stayed in lots of hotels in Europe and the Hotel Posta has been the cleanest. It was a great location and very welcoming. That the bar was not open on a weekend and it was the least comfy room, maybe could be updated???
Valued the history of the hotel and the way it is presented to maintain the past while providing all that is needed by a discerning traveller today.
great place !
Staff was very helpful. Excecllent location. Pretty hotel. Nice buffet breakfast. We stayed in Room 236 and water pressure was poor and had a problem with lack of hot water for showers.
Susan was terrific and so was the breakfast. We all liked the ambiance and design of the Hotel.
Very helpful staff. Excellent dining on site.
Excellent value. Large and comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
Price Far from the city
Connecting rooms great for families. We used the hotel as a stop-over traveling up through Italy and it was just fine for this.
It was easy to reach In general for being a three star hotel was OK. The evaluation from the guest is too high.
staff was extrimly accomodating and helpful. breackfast was very nice comperade to other 3 stars hotels
It is a well located and easily accessible. The bathroom has only tub with spa jets. I pesronally prefer quicker and more convenient shower boot.
Conveniently sited for a visit to Ferrari Museum and the weekly market on the adjoining square. Able to garage car securely.
very nice people,very central n/a
central location nothing
There were some problems with the room type booked but staff were helpful in sorting out the problems and we ended up satisfied, thank you.
Breakfast, private parking and everithing else. No
Aircondition, grate location if you visit Ferrari
The facilities were very adequate and reasonably priced, providing excellent value. The restaurant at the hotel was reasonably priced with excellent local food, also an excellent value!
The room was comfortable and clean, the TV had 2 Eanglish language stations which is important to me as I don't understand Italian. The resturant served a very good dinner at a reasonable price and as the weather was nice we ate al fresco. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and also reasonable at 5 euros. We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the square. It was early in the season and they were not set up to run the AC so the room was a bit hot, but opening the window let thinksd cool off after a while.
The hotel is centrally located in the main square, we, like most people I guess, came to see the Ferrari factory and Museum which are only a couple of minutes walk away. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull, our room was on the second floor and had a nice view overlooking the main square, it was clean and for the money (€80 inc breakfast) was excellant.
Close proximity to: (1) the bus station; (2) Cafe Maranello (a strategically located cafe), (3) the destination we wanted to visit, i.e. the Ferrari Gallery/Museum etc. Internet access was a breeze, the room rate was reasonable, its surrounding is quiet and most importantly, the room is clean. None,
The hotel - basically 4 rooms at the huge and very popular restaurant - is quiet and almost deserted in the mornings, which might be what romantically inclined tourists seek before leaving for the cities of Emilia. SS9 (via Emilia) is just couple of hundred of meters from Casalgrande Hotel, so driving from/to it is very convienient.
Modern, clean, reasonable for a business trip, not much eating out options around it, but pizza in the close by pizzeria very simple and good!
Very good rating, excellent comfort and services
Modern (new?) hotel with well appointed rooms. Bathroom well appointed with excellent quality fittings. Aircon / heater unit unble to warm the room sufficiently on cold evening.
Everything. Free internet conexion. Very friendly staff.
The placement of the hotel between trees, near a very good with traditional food trattoria; the design and cleaness of the room;the good selection of the breakfast;a very good report quality/price, especialy during the period of Fairs in Bologna (which is not far, about 1 hour)
Frendly staff. Modern building. Clean room. Possibility to park in the undergound garage. Very good beakfast.
New and really well done hotel rivalling the international quality hotels. Recommend wholeheartedly.
Our stay in this hotel was great. Everything is made in a harmony with Ferrari style, newest technologies are used everywhere and at the same time you can feel almost family atmosphere of people who like cars.
An absolute must for anyone intersted in motor sport and especially (obviously) Ferrari. A touch expensive though.
Everything about the stay was excellent, cleanliness, reception staff polite and pleasantand willing to help, cafe and restaurant excellent value for money and delicious food None
Mi ho sentito Ferrrari :). The walls were a bit thin, but luckily I only noticed in the morning of departure, so it did not bother me too much.
The front desk young man ( sorry forgot his name) was exemplementery ...an absolute ambassador to not only your hotel but also to your country ( we are visitors from NZ ). He really made us feel welcome and answered all our questions with patience and grace. As a tall man I found the shower very small....
Very nice hotel. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Liked large screen tv. Easy to find. Self service resturant confusing and poor selection at eight pm.
We stayed for 1 night only. Everything was ok + they gave us a free breakfast as bonus. Very good value for money. Strongly recommended for fans of Ferrari and F1.
It is quiet and with big clean rooms. The stuff was really professionals. The breakfast have variety but without light and healthy meals, only fress fruits but generaly is a very nice hotel especialy according the price
Very helpful receptionist who introduced us a very good restaurant for seafood. We cannot find the hotel from the gps.
Spacious set-up. Nice Ferrari-styling throughout.
The staff were extremely helpful. Edison was extra attentive and helped me with every question. Restaurant was advertised as open, but was closed the entire time I was at the hotel.
restaurant,nice food no
convenient for train station. Quiet location. Room too small
The Hotel Staff was extremely courteous.. Really friendly and cooperative.., though the room size was really small, but being a business traveler it didn't mattered much.. The WiFi Internet was extremely poor..
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant, courteous and efficient.
Clean, modern, efficient, excellent secure car park. No
Good location, secured parking and good service.Hotel is 5 minute walk to the centre. Room decoration
