Very poor- felt unsafe
Customer service staff was helpful and understanding as I sought a refund
Felt extremely unsafe walking from my car to the room and was approached several times. Room was dirty- smelled like smoke and had hair on the pillows. The room lacked basic amenities like shampoo and conditioner and an ironing board. WiFi would not connect with my phone.
About
Overview
When you are thinking about places to visit in California, admittedly, Bakersfield may not be the first city at the top of the list, but there are lots of reasons that Bakersfield is attractive to tourists. Besides being a near midpoint between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, the city has access to many different nearby natural areas including some of the natural areas featuring giant sequoias like Sequoia National Park. Staying in Bakersfield is a great way to keep yourself right in the middle of the action in California, and a great place to stay is the Econo Lodge in Bakersfield.
When staying at the Econo Lodge, you get exactly what you need – a great place to rest after a long day. The beds are plush and comfortable. Rooms are warmly decorated and business people will enjoy the complimentary WiFi. For leisure travelers, there are lots of different attractions in Bakersfield including several different museums or you can visit the mall. The Kern County Fairgrounds always has events going on, and they’re usually very family friendly.
Dining in Bakersfield is also severely underrated. There are lots of excellent farm to table restaurants as Bakersfield sits in the southern part of California’s massive agricultural area. Though the hotel does not offer a breakfast or other in-house dining options, it is located nearby to plenty. You can get a great meal with just a simple ride down the street.
There are lots of different activities in Bakersfield and being in the middle of it all means booking a room at the Econo Lodge.
