Well maintained, appears recently refurbished and good sized comfortable room. Restaurant menu was varied, good quality and good value. Great location for visiting the north coast of Ireland.
Fitted in with the Irish Countryside and provided Irish evening music and singing Food pricing was excessive for a rural country hotel. Same meal in Belfast was on average 35% less expensive. Room rate was excessive for location.
staff helpfulness, music in the bar and a friendly feeling during the evening. the food was not really up to standard - fish and chips appeared in 5 minutes (ie not long enough to cook it!) and the inside of the batter was uncooked and sticky, not edible. Also we requested a disabled room or walk-in shower, no availability, it would have been nice to be notified of this in advance.
The hotel is near the major coastal attractions The room was dated, the en suite was falling to pieces, the food was pretty poor. OK if this was a hostel, not OK for what we paid to stay there.
The food was pretty good, honest pub grub. The bar was nice and lively without being overpowering or unwelcoming. The guy on reception didn't seem too bothered about us when we arrived and the service in the bar and over breakfast the following morning was quite poor, we were left waiting for some time.
Warm and friendly Irish hospitality.Quality and value for money. Highly recomended. Nothing
loved every minute of it!
Friendly staff, good food, off street parking Mustry damp smell in small lounge off bar. Loud music until circa 1 am 1 night. Stay was for 2 nights.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food plain but well cooked and presented. Good musical entertainment in bar. A bit more care in tidying up. Soap left in shower from previous occupant. No tv or radio in room
Rather shabby bedroom with no armchairs.
