You can sleep like a baby in a wonderfull bed, eat like a queen....full irish breakfast and perhaps warm scones and coffee. And after if you dont like golfing you can walk on the wonderfull beach or visit Cliffs of Moher. The hotel has also a shop with everything from books to clothing. The most beautifull place i have visit in my life! Dinner in the Long Room could have been more creative and taste better.
Absolute bliss, treated like royality.
Accomodation and facilities first class Food quality and lack of a nice bar to have a drink a major drawback given price and otherwise high standards
I really appreciated the warm, welcoming & attentive staff. The hotel is beautifully designed & in a superb location..We are not golfing people but had bracing walks on beach& enjoyed the blazing fire on our return. the air conditioning was a little annoying during the night but the staff were happy to assist.
ease of access to golf course, and availability of a good (not great) restaurant on-site poor temp control in room, door was difficult to open..does not fit prperly, aand in case of fire it would potentially be v.dangerous.Also the golf service was expensive and quite deplorable;it took 5.5 hours for 2 of us to play at $250 pp,yet no marshalling, and on our return to the club they were very dismissive of our complaint. Not a good experience at a "high end" course
The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The hotel is located right beside the beach so we were able to go for lovely walks and blow away the cobwebs! Our accomodation was located away from the main hotel - there was no mention of this fact in the description of the rooms on this website.
Out of this world. I will return. Great value for money too, surprisingly.
The comfort of the rooms and in particular the bed and bathroom. The food was also very good. Having to move out of the hotel to go to the links cottages and marquee.
Nicely finished room. Setting was nice. Tailored more towards Golf than regular guests
The buliding was very impressive in a beautiful location. Fantastic hotel for a luxury treat.
The Seashore was one of the highlights of my trip. Ballybunion can be a very busy little seaside resort, but the Seashore is located in a quieter section of town a few minutes away. The room was wonderful as was the breakfast the next morning. I think the estimate of this property as five minutes from the Ballybunion Golf Club is a bit low; however, it's certainly no more than ten minutes from the Club. Given the nighttime bustle in central Ballybunion, I did not mind the slightly longer drive.
Location was good overlooking the atlantic sea. Facilities good and value for money
great location for the beach, family run guesthouse with large rooms great value for money
Very comfortable relaxing & spotlessly clean guesthouse beautifully situated a few minutes from the golfcourse which you can see in the distance from your bedroom window. Excellent breakfast served and also valuable golfing tips received from the owner re playing Ballyb. No
beautiful location beautiful guesthouse no
Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. They make it very easy to relax.
The Broc family and the staff were all very gracious and friendly. The location to Ballybunion is the best above all other properties there. It is literally right outside the door - a 3 minute walk (if that!). And the quality of furnishings, construction, decorating and attention to detail throughout the property is incredible. Very well done!! We'll be back for sure!
It is literally across the street from the Ballybunion club house, maybe a 200 yard walk to either of the first tees for the Cashen course and the Old course. The driving range is in the front yard. The inn includes a fantastic restaurant. If you are going to golf, you never have to get in your car once you arrive. The Brocs are the most congenial hosts. I would recommend it highly.
A wonderful hotel, great people. The restaurant is excellent. No
the convenience to the golf course at Ballybunion I did not have a top sheet for the bed. Did not really feel that the comforter on the bed was washed every time some one else booked the room. I would have liked a top sheet with a clean blanket instead of the comforter.
the owners were very accomodating and personable. Price is a little high, but it is by in Europe and by Ballybunion, so I see why.
Family owned - Hospitality, warm, inviting, great food! The family was incredibly helpful and kind.
A very warm welcome from Aoifa and Seamus. Lovely room with huge bed, delicious breakfasts. Very close to Ballybunion golf club. I had chosen the hotel because they had a bistro restaurant but they shut it the day before we arrived. That was the only drawback. We would certainly stay there again.
The management and staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The lounge needs to be aired as sometimes cooking odours filter in through the bar.
We were warmly welcomed by Aiofe Broc who checked us in and got us settled. Had a delicious dinner in the dining room and enjoyed some piano music in the lobby. Location was spectacular - right across the street from the golf club! Excellent WiFi service.
staff was so helpful. Location is nice. Breakfast and Internet include.. perfect
easy hotel no pressure reception not easy to find as newcomer
I thought the staff were friendly and relaxed, the food was very good and the rooms clean.
Amazing top quality restaurant & food service, equal to the best meals (dinner & breakfast) of our 3 week 5 country holiday, in a 2-3 star hotel Room smelt of cigarette smoke.
Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. Great value for money. n/a
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the disco on Saturday night - great choice of music for our (older) age group. Had agreat craic! The breakfast choice was great and we had a meal there on Friday night which was a little pricey, but very good.
Great breakfast, dinners were a bit expensive Rooms were extremely tiny
Very cold, the heating was turned on after 10pm
There was good signage from the main road to the B&B. We have not stayed in many B&B's in Europe, but this place was not worth the 60 Euros we paid. I will admit we didn't spend much time there, as we arrived at 22:00 and left around 08:00. But nothing we experienced made us want to stick around. It is between 2 tiny, very quiet villages (about 10 min drive to either). House and landscape is plain, has barely an ocean view. The bedroom was plain with cheap furniture, uncomfortable mattress and squeaky bed, tiny shower, towels that looked like my old beach towels, foam mats on the bathroom floor, overall cleanliness was fair. We did not pay or stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Owners wanted payment in cash.
