My room was very quaint. Lots of woodwork and flannel print. This is a great spot for a fall getaway. The food at breakfast was delicious. This is a two person show and for two people they do a really good job. No ice machine (at least that I could find) Bed wasn't terrible comfortable. Only very small heater in room that was a little difficult to manage. Either too hot or too cool.
We visited Shel and Deb, for the ump-teenth time, on the weekend of August 4, 2012. It has become one of our family's vacation traditions! Either on a long weekend away, or on a half-way break from the long car ride to our SC beach destination, we have come to anticipate a stop at Oak Hill on Love Lane as a very happy part of our family trips. We cannot thank you enough for your flexibility in accommodating our discriminating ('picky') palates on this last trip! We think the Baked Oatmeal with Fruit that Deb made for the girls was the envy of the whole breakfast party, and we intend to put in an order for all of us on our next trip! As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 'rock on the porch' while watching the sunset against the distinctive background that is only available in Waynesville. Everything was immaculate, welcoming, lush and pristine, as we have come to take for granted. You have spoiled us for any other place! Thank you so much, and love from all of us: Rick, Cathleen and the girls, Greater Cincinnati/N. Ky Area
The Room, was the best thing about our stay there. It was outstandingly cool. Their wasn't anything that we did not like about this ' Hotel.
This B and B was much more like staying at a dear friend's lovely home rather than in a room for the evening. Beautifully appointed rooms and jacuzzi tubs made nights after long days on the slopes a wonderful nightcap! Wonderful, thoughtful breakfasts!
The cabins were just fantastic. You could sit on the porch in the mornings and hear the beautiful sounds of rushing water in the nearby creek. Behind our cabin was a pond with beautiful koi fish numbering in the dozens that made us feel right at home. no
Nearby attractions Dirty carpet, so dirty our socks are stained . Had a half roll of toilet paper, was told they would bring one (!) roll later. Bought our own. Never will stay there again. Not a real cabin, it's an rv with siding.
My stay at the Misty Mountain was the best experience. Karen does a wonderful job helping out her customers finding great places to eat and etc. Rooms were clean and decorated nicely. I reccomend anybody to stay there great hospotality an thanks again Karen.
