Obviously, not a resort. But for the price, its one of the best for business and just going to sleep.
Blanket was kind of thin.
Everything was horrible. Wrong room, wouldn't give a refund or allow to switch rooms to the one I paid for. Room was disorganized and had multiple errors with it.
The staff was excellent and the rooms were nice and clean.
In one of the rooms the fire alarm was going off constantly. Also, the walls were very very thin.
Cheap and clean
A/C really noisy, hard to sleep when on!
No working internet, guest were noisy and inconsiderate
free breakfast - fresh waffles
Not happy about service checking in; no remote in room;outside entrance to all rooms; not so good location. Queen size bed was like an inflatable bouncy house. Worried about my rental car being broken into,or my room.
The desk clerk that checked us in was great---especially since they had no notice of our reservation!!! My comments in the "negative" section of this review have more to do with booking.com than with the hotel. The free breakfast was just fine, esp. Considering the price. The room, including breakfast, was less than $60. We spent the next three nights at The Baltimore Hilton. It was beautiful, but even with the discount was $220/nite. It is a quick drive to downtown and we would probably stay at Quality Inn Baltimore Harbor South again for the $160/nite savings. BTW--it is not near the Harbor.
They had no record of our reservation!!! They said this has happened before with booking.com!!! Fortunately they had a room available for us. We had reserved a non-smoking room. The room they gave us had a non;smoking sign on the door, but had an obvious smoke smell--and actually had cigarette ashes on the rug...We were just glad to have a room. Housekeeping is a little dicey--the rug had obviously not been vacuumed after the previous guest--but we kept our shoes on. The linens smelled slightly of bleach--which was comforting considering everything.
location to events pretty close
needs some improvement, a fire alarm went off it took forever to shutoff, door key cards didn't always work, trespassers in parking lots, very urban experience
The room was really small but I am used to staying in suites so that might be why I felt crammed, was very clean and a good value.
The a/c was not working in the room so it was rather hot. Staff really didn't seem too concerned with how happy we were with the stay.
General Maintenance and bathroom
Proximity to the inner harbor area, insanely good deal.
The facilities were few and faulty, for example the ice machines were broken. Also the room did not offer anything like a fridge or microwave.
