Location closer to Johns Hopkins than the Inner Harbor. Soothing harbor atmosphere. Friendly staffers. Happy hour and night cap. Tasty breakfast.
Room was too cold at first. We did turn up the a/c. Never really got warm enough at night to sleep comfortably. Should have asked for more blankets but too busy to do so.
The room was very nice and well laid out. The hotel's setting was just about perfect (right on the water). The hotel lobby was very nice, too. Having a Starbuck's coffee machine in the lobby was excellent.
The room's sink and shower didn't drain very well. There was only one bathrobe in our room. Other than that, the room was excellent.
Right on the water and everything is within walking distance.
Incredible treatment by the staff! Fresh flowers and plants in the room were a nice touch. Loved the wine and cheese and chocolate turn down!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was great, overlooked harbor. Close to Fells Point and inner Harbor. Very quiet at night; in the city center you will hear sirens all night, absolute quiet here. Fresh fruits , coffee etc. for breakfast.
Room was very large and attractive and the staff was attentive. The continental breakfast featured the freshest fruits and Starbucks coffee.
Apparently, the adjacent room had a leaking toilet, causing the water to run intermittently and the pipes would bang about once a minute when the water stopped. Also, the filter in the air conditioner was very dirty but the staff changed it promptly.
The Butlers were wonderful. So very helpful on where to eat and how to get there. I also like how there is an area to sit outside for breakfast or a glass of wine.
We did arrive early and thought maybe we could get into our room before 4:00. We got a text at 4:03 saying our room was ready.
Exceptional Customer Service! We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, but what stood out most was the staff. We were only there for two days, but every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make our stay special.
Hotel was lovely. And in great location.
Reservation was messed. Instead of 1 room with 2 queen size beds, reservation was for 2 rooms with 1 double bed each at 2x the cost. Hotel did the minimum to solve the problem, we got 1 room with double bed plus a roll a way at 1 x cost.
I like the amenities and the parking is gated and very safe. The view of the harbor is nice.
My first room had no tv and bugs in the room. I was not happy but the next day I talked to the manager and he transferred me to the harbor view room. I was satisfy with how they handled the situation. They also gave me a complimentary bottle of wine.
we came early and ask if we could park the car in the lot since we couldn't check in yet, no problem. following morning, my son visited us to go for brunch in fells point area and ask front desk if he could park his car in their lot, no problem. check out time, we ask again if we could leave our car in order for us to see inner harbor more, once again, no problem. i have to say, it's hard to find parking in this neighborhood of fells point so, we were very pleased that they are very accommodating. we were also upgraded to a nice harbor view so, that was a plus. breakfast buffet is better than expected. my only issue is that, there were few long hairs on the wall of the tub that housekeeping missed. also, in the middle of the night, i woke up with the heating noise. it's not all the time but, it comes on and off. over all, i recommend this place
This charming hotel was the perfect place for our getaway weekend. Easy to find, and just a couple turns off of I-95 with a dedicated parking lot. Extremely courteous and cheerful staff. Beautiful location right on the water. Elegant lobby. Beautiful guest rooms. Everything was clean. Rich furniture and furnishings. Plush towels and bathrobes. Complimentary bottle of wine in each guest room. Peaceful and relaxing central courtyard perfect for reading the paper while enjoying the continental breakfast. No bar or restaurant on site but hotel is 5 minutes walk to all that Fell's Point has to offer. Already planning our nex stay there!
What a wonderful place for some peace and relaxation. But don't worry there's fun around every corner of the hotel as well. Nice dining, fun pubs and some boating right next to the hotel. Just walking the area was enjoyable in fact. We squeezed as much fun as possible in 1 day, but will definitely be back to try and see the rest of it. The people there were amazingly friendly.
Spacious rooms with very nice amenities. Hotel definitiely has an intimate feel to it. Friendly staff. Bed was a little too soft for me but for others it will be just right. Think Goldilocks... The continental breakfast was super. Great variety and plenty of fresh fruit, sweets, bagels, cereals. Has a very attractive inner court yard that is beautifully landscaped. A nice spot to sit and have breakfast or unwind after work in the afternoon. Since all guest rooms are ground floor you need to keep the interior shutters closed while in your room inless you are comfortable being watched from the outside. In close to 20 years of business travel this is one of the few places I really would like to go back to and be willing to spend my own money for a nice retreat. I don't hesitate to recommend Henderson's Warf!
