When you stay at The Theatre Villa in Bang Saphan, you'll be on the beach and steps from Suan Luang Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly staffs which good location
Pros: This little piece of paradise was exactly what I was looking for. It's not the easiest place to get to, but it's definitely worth it! The hotel is on a clean, quiet beach with very few tourists, and has a tasty restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My room had a view of the sea, and I fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. This is the most relaxing, happy stay I've had in a very long time. I will be back! :)
Cons: For me, this wasn't a negative, but there's not much to do around here... so if you're the more adventurous type, I recommend renting a car to explore the area.
Pros: breakfast was for us fresh fruits and service with a smile, very quite ,service , food Jes the host ,cooks herself we ate here 5 out of 6 nights excellent , try the fish in lemon , garlic with chilli !!
Pros: Bed was really comfy. Villa is right by the beach. Food (Thai) was excellent. Host and staffs were really accomodating, nice and friendly.
Cons: A sign board to the Villa further up the road would be great, especially for drivers driving at night.
Pros: Sea view and a beach bar where you can lie down and rest under the tree shade.
Cons: The road to get in quite rough but not that long.
Pros: The manager (owner?) Jen was exceptionally helpful and obliging. Booked a boat tour for us, provided advice on the area and was always available. The newer guest rooms above the reception and dining area were modern, comfortable, with their own small balcony providing ocean/beach views. All room facilities worked as required. Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, was plentiful - juice, yoghurt, fresh tropical fruit, fried egg with sausage, and toast. And all fresh cooked/prepared for each table. Beach location is fantastic!
Cons: Just a few eating options within the immediate area. Had to travel by car to seek out other options. Had to travel by car to the various visitor attractions, but this is the same no matter where in Bang Saphan you stay.
Pros: Very quiet and relax place, right on the beach, one of the best you'll find around the area. Quiet and wide enough. Plenty to do 20-30km around (you need to be mobile, scooter or car). We booked 1 night and stayed 4 (we were upgraded to a bungalow as the hotel was full one night, thanks to the flexible management). Management is helpful and friendly, goo english. Staff is nice too. Good breakfeast, homemada yummy toasts and oraneg jam, eggs, sausage, set of fruits, etc. Really worth it ! Stop thinking and looking around, go for it !
Cons: Breakfeast could have been changed when you stay several days, but as said above, details only as all was nearly perfect. Tree tops could becut a bit to allow nice sa vieaw from all rooms (ours was great).
Located in Bang Saphan, SEAnery Beach Resort is by the sea, within a 15-minute drive of Suan Luang Beach and Don Samran Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location very quite envirement lovely
Cons: Living room it is separate from the bedroon , in case rain got a bit wet
Pros: the rooms are beautiful. the pool is a lovely ,infinity pool. each room has a couch area , a balcoony, a small kitchen and the shower , was very good .clean and perfect.
Cons: there isn't much to do and the staff don't have any excursions to offer. the beach is not very nice, with coarse sand. The sea is choppy so not clear.
Pros: The rooms were great; close to the seashore. One problem, in the rain, we got wet getting from living room to the bedroom. Not a big problem, but a mistake in design! Otherwise the room was fine; could have had a plate or two and some cutlery, but we did not really need it ourselves. Water provided in glass bottles or from a filter would have been more eco-friendly. We enjoyed the peace and quiet; and the beach was fine, apart from after the storm! Food was good. Staff friendly and efficient. Massage was great (provided by therapist from outside).
Cons: Getting wet on the way to the bedroom! The steep climb to reception (could not be helped).
Pros: The resort is beautiful.. Beach for me perfect, no big waves or current.. Very quiet loved it, But there is a BUT!
Cons: Restaurant is a disaster. No ambiance, Thai food is from terrible to very average. Spring rools were a disaster, squid was old and I'm sure the culprit of upset stomach. Presented desert menu, after deliberation and deciding then informed by the same waiter that actually didn't have one if the items on the desert menu only 3 types of ice cream... Spoiled an otherwise perfect resort..
Pros: New hotel Nice design Spacious rooms Nice and friendly staff Infinity Swimming with sea view Quiet place
Cons: The place is literally in the village – far away from eating places, shops etc The beach seems to be quite unclean The hotel is empty and looks doomed to vanish because the price is quite high for the place. The concept of the hotel is very good, but the owners chose the wrong place for such good resort. It would be definitely popular if it was near to touristic places
Pros: Beautiful location! Beautiful room, great view and very friendly staff
Cons: the balcony door didn't close properly. Thus Mosquito and flies came in
Pros: The bungalows are very spacious, clean and have a nice seaview. Very quiet and peaceful location. Very good for relaxing.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was on the smaller size, but ok. Only the coffee was nothing special (not hot enough)
With a stay at Bayview Beach Resort in Bang Saphan, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Wat Tang Sai Temple and Thang Sai Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Flat with two rooms just beside the pool and in front of the sea Very kind staff Restaurant great view and food Just amazing Small village 3km away very authentic ...
Pros: Staff were wonderful. Location very peaceful and pretty. Beach long with no one around. The perfect stay to get away from it all. Bungalows are lovely, clean with very comfortable beds. Excellent facilities with tea and coffee in the room, large fridge, safe, hairdryer, free toiletries etc. Excellent air conditioning. Pool excellent too. Breakfast really good, great selection with omelettes and fried eggs made to order. Restaurant food very tasty with lovely fresh ingredients. Can highly recommend the seafood. Would definitely stay again. Felt quite sad leaving.
Pros: Beautiful facilities on a private beach surrounded by coconut trees. The staff was friendly and went above our expectations to insure our stay was enjoyable. On site restaurant offered beautiful fresh air tables with a tasty variety of menu choices at reasonable prices.
Pros: If you read lots of the reviews about this place like I did then generally there is your answer there are so many good reviews. I was really pleased the units are basic enough but clean no bugs in side at all, great pool, beautiful beautiful quiet beach, it's a step back in time loved it, nice staff good food and im sure there are places to explore but we didn't have enough time only stayed 2 nights. Hopefully come back again one day so for us all good
Cons: Not being able to stay longer
Pros: Lovely beach and pool. Very quiet and private. Good food in restaurant. Villas roomy. Staff friendly. Set in amongst trees.
Cons: No air con in the main area, only in bedroom. Just a fan in lounge area.
Pros: If you want to get away from it all this is a wonderful spot. Very private little chalets/bedrooms with their own terraces. Accommodation is basic but clean and functional and well serviced. I do recommend hiring a scooter as it's nice to see the surrounding area. We loved this place and plan to return soon!
Cons: There really wasn't anything to dislike. I think this hotel offers very good value. Communication was a little difficult at times as I paid the hotel for the taxi and the taxi due to my misunderstanding.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and always very helpful. Beach and beach access were excellent. Food of the restaurant is very delicious.
Cons: Pillows were too high.
Cons: Location just a bit too far away from bars restaurants etc..
Pros: The location of Bayview is very special. There can be few beaches in Thailand as beautiful and as unspoilt.
With a stay at Baan Grood Arcadia Resort & Spa in Bang Saphan, you'll be on the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Wat Tang Sai Temple and Ban Krood Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: If you want to get away from a busy area like in ChaAm and Huahin. I would recommend this area. Beach is clean and quiet, nice for stroll morning and evening. Pool is good with nice view of beachfront, just the street in the middle. Breakfast is good, various choices. It's value for money to come here.
Cons: Hotel itself provides with many room types. We stayed the cheaper one that's building behind a bit of the walk from the front area.
Pros: The room was very clean and I like the facilities. The swimming pool was also great and the hotel is close to the beach and 7-11.
Pros: Staffs are very friendly and free breakfast buffet was fine. Location is also good than the other hotels.
Pros: Very quiet
Cons: No furniture. Only bed and small table
Pros: Luxury swimming pool! Real one! Satisfied! This place is strictly recommended.
Pros: Everything! Great Location, excellent Pool, top Service, good breakfast Buffet, very good Restaurant, very helpfull staff! Loved it!
Pros: Location, Location, Location. The beach is across the road, is beautiful and quiet. It is an amazing beach. The room and bathroom was huge and very comfortable. I could not have asked for more at this price.
Cons: breakfast was mediocre but that is normal for the location and price point. Frankly, I would not gripe about that.
Pros: The location is always good and if there area enough guests then buffet breakfast is good.
Cons: No spare bicycles for us to use like there used to be.
When you stay at Bansaithong Beach Resort in Bang Saphan Noi, you'll be on the beach and 6 minutes by car from Tham Thong-Bang Boet Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: When we were there in July, the beach was like a private beach. There were no other tourists. The restaurant of the hotel was very good. Very good breakfast too.
Pros: Nice people who said yes and did not really knew why they did
Cons: Desolated, worn out
Pros: Loved the quiet location and space
Pros: Fantastic swimming pool, view from the breakfast area
Pros: Lovely meals at the restaurant, beautiful beach and amazing pool.
Cons: Our room was one of the three person villas along the front. They were quite outdated and very old looking inside. There needs to be some money spent on renovating, especially the bathrooms. Our bathroom was large but was old, mouldy and had insufficient ventilation.
Pros: Very recommendable Hotel, especially at the price. Food at the restaurant was very good. If you like the location strongly depends on your preferences, e.g. perfect for quiet time at the beach - we loved it. The rooms are spacious, clean and have what you need. Very nice staff.
Cons: The rooms are not too soundproof, but in all fairness this is very common and especially in this price range absolutely ok.
Pros: Good service, especially from the manger, speaking very well english. She helps us around a lot. Location is very quite, and far from any 7/11, which we thought was great! Great view from superior room on infinity pool and beach!
Cons: The beds were quite hard. Staff tries very hard, but is not great at english ( which was good for some hilarious moments). So actually not nad at all!
Located in Bang Saphan Noi, Koh Talu Island Resort is by the sea, minutes from Koh Talu Beach, and close to Koh Talu Dive Site. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a ferry terminal shuttle for a surcharge, and limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location, beach
Cons: Dirty rooms, some staff very rude
Pros: Fab location staff so accommodating and friendly no hidden costs . Food excellent Amazing place I could not recommend it more !
Cons: Nothing I did nt like about property
Pros: Everything was great! The staff were over the top friendly and the food was awesome!
Cons: The only thing that could have been better is the resort having a swimming pool & offer drinks at the beach.
Pros: the island has a very beautiful beach with white coral sand.
Cons: the rooms were musty ,soiled and full of mosquitos. Fortunately there was an mosquito net over the bed. The wooden chalets are not in good condition. The buffet meals seemed more like a canteen. There was rubbish and waste all over. Nothing was tidied. The coral is badly damaged. and the sea is a colletion of plastic bottles and waste. They tehn tell you it is a green island which looks after the fish and turtles , but they are too lazy.
Pros: The activities, the bed and of course the cats
Cons: The coffee
Pros: Great location, really lovely staff, great food, a real beautiful place! Really great being on the beach... only ones on the beach! Perfect!
Cons: On the way back, on the mainland there was a really horrible dog fight...
Pros: P'SomPorn took excellent care of us while we were there.
Cons: The boat 'captain' for the activities was extremely grumpy, bordering on unpleasant whether dealing with Thai people or Farrang. C'mon man, people are on holiday, try not to kill the vibe.
Pros: The island itself is very nice: two available beaches, magic snorkeling areas, traditional-styled buildings, sea turtle farm, clear blue waters, all of the “bounty” stuff is there! Very nice people, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place to visit and truly enjoy. Big thanks to the island team.
Cons: 1. As far as I know now - the island is partly private, and being serviced by one family. But the environment is not so well treated: litter on the beach and in the sea is making this beautiful nature masterpiece look sad. Here and there you can see the plastic bottles, beer cans, old shoes etc. It is not much there, and for sure will not take long to collect all this stuff, clean the place up, but it needs to be done from time to time to maintain continuously good vibe about the island. And litter boxes surely need to be widely available. 2. The schedule of check-in and check-out and usability: there is a morning boat to the island at 10:00, but the check-in time to the rooms is at 14:00 (btw booking.com says it’s 10:00, not 14). But the island do not offer you normal possibility to change or take the shower before that time: the toilets are equipped with shower, but do not have anything inside except bare ceramic floors. No shelves or hooks for clothing there, no beach towels for example. The same thing with check-out: it is at 12 latest, but the boat to the main land is at 14:30. So after check-out you really can not use anything you came for: no beach, no beautiful clear waters etc. And this thing can be easily improved: just put your self to your guest place, think through all of the process from coming and check-in to check-out and leaving to see the things need to be done better. And “not-so-small” room rates should support this improvements.

Pros: Right on the beach Good for families with 2 kids Nice people
Cons: Pool was a little cloudy.
Pros: Great attentive service. Good and tasty food. Property was prettier than expected. Room layout was comfortable. Nice touch providing evening snacks!
Cons: Mattress was a bit too hard.
Pros: near a beach
Cons: old hotel facilities,
Pros: Beautiful style, in a quiet location, accommodating staff with a friendly old fashioned feel
Cons: Slightly out the way. Slightly tired. Very minor.
Cons: Water for bath bad small
Pros: The property situated by a quiet beach.
Cons: We stayed here 8 years ago; it was nothing like last time. When I got checked into our room, there's still on-going work with the air con. In stead of giving us a new available room, we had to wait outside. When we return to our room at night, we smelled something rotten. My mother ended up finding a rotten lizard in her duvet. Horrifying, they finally gave us a new room at 10PM which took a very long time. Staffs here are confusing. Adieu,
Pros: GPS needs to be up dated, wrong GPS setting, took me over a hour to drive to said town, and another 45 min to find the hotel, checked my GPS at front office of hotel, no where near what said on booking site
Cons: GPS SETTING
Pros: Quiet, grand property far away from everything else. Feels like your own private beach. Staff were very very warm and polite and you felt that they wanted to make your stay as nice as it could be.
Cons: This grand property is jaded and needs some work. Everything still works but looks and feels jaded.
When you stay at Blue Beach Bungalow in Bang Saphan, you'll be near the beach and 8 minutes by car from Suan Luang Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The owners are very kind that they care about their customers. They let us borrow cradle for our baby sleep. There is a swing to sit and take a rest. The swimming pool is nice. The room is new.
Cons: There is only one bathroom for two rooms, so it is not convenient. There is no breakfast available.
Pros: Really good service.
Pros: Very nice and quiet place. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious including fresh fruit, hams, eggs and even nutella. The pool was not large but clean and more than enough for our family. The owner recommended a great place for dinner (The fishery cafe). All in all a great and familiar place to stay
Pros: Nice staff, good breakfast
Cons: Noisy construction works ongoing (roof gutter assembly)
Pros: The very friendly reception and staff, clean and new accomodation, pretty pool and very near to the beach. The beds are excellent firm and the bathroom modern and comfortable. Each room has its own tv and there is a big fridge in the hallway. The kids liked the spaceship like bleu lights in the hallway. Few minutes drive from the boat to koh Talu. Definately a place to visit again.
Cons: In the night it was a little hard to find because you need to go up a small track from the road towards the beach.
Pros: Everything else ! Great room.nice pool, handy for port. Good value.
Cons: Difficult to find nearby restaurants
Pros: Very friendly staff and really nice for the kids
With a stay at At My Home Resort Bangsaphan in Bang Saphan, you'll be 9.2 mi (14.8 km) from Bo Thong Lang Bay and 17.2 mi (27.7 km) from Bangburd Beach. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: As Always Comfortable and Pleasant To stay @My Home Resort
Pros: The lady owner of the resort was very helpful and extremely friendly. The bungalows were not listed as wheelchair friendly but were actually ok and accessible with just a little help. The resort is also very quite at night which lead to a peaceful sleep. The resort is in an area where we found most of the overseas tourist to be French and the local eating spots reflected this with a selection of both French and local food. All of which was tasty and not expensive. Ban Saphan Yai is a very peaceful and beautifully part of Thailand. In part due to the lack of full on tourist development. I would strongly suggest that you visit soon before this paradise goes the same way as so many Thai beach resorts have gone and is destroyed by uncontrolled development,
Pros: Very comfy and charming bungalow with all the facilities you need. It is located 10 min walk from long sand beach curtailed by strip of pines, coconut palms and screwpine – very calm and well suited for running. You can rent motorbike and it will take also 10 min to Bang Saphan town. If you like challenges you can make day trip on motorbike to explore picturesque Tenasserim Hills. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. She dropped me at the bus station Bang Saphan at departure.
Cons: Awesome place, nothing to complain about.
Pros: The owner were really friendly and hospitably.
Pros: It's nothing special, but it's a short walk from a little bar and cafe, and the aircon worked great!
Cons: The staff (owner?) isn't exactly friendly, but hey, you get what you pay for. It's not quite good value for money to me, considering it's a 10-15 minute walk from the beach and beachfront properties cost either the same or slightly more, but it's not that big of a deal.
When you stay at Anchalee Resort in Bang Saphan, you'll be near the beach and 8 minutes by car from Don Samran Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Anchalee gives you a lot of services (room clean everyday and always water in the fridge, excelent breakfast, bikes..) for a small price!
Cons: The place is pretty far from the train station and pretty far from the most beautiful sea. I suggest to ask the staff for the best sea of the area and go there with motobike or hichiking ;)
Pros: Recently tastefully renovated hotel facing on to beach. Staff very nice . Breakfast excellent. Room was very nice . Motor bike rental from reception. 2 restaurant very near also minimart close by.
Cons: Nothing to fault it
Cons: Checking in we were told that the double room we booked wasn't available and offered us a triple room for 200Thb more lol. In the end we took the single room which was big enough for 2 at a lower rate.
Cons: Our room is pretty clean with comfy bed. In fact, size of the bed in double room and double room with seaview (partial seaview) is exactly the same.
Pros: Girl at the desk was very welcoming and friendly. Location is perfect, you are pretty much on the beach. Beds comfortable, shower clean, WiFi and air conditioning working perfectly. Couldn't ask for more.
Cons: No lift but only one flight of stairs so not really a problem
Pros: The location is near the beach road on a corner and our room had a view of the beach. The hotel was clean and homely decorated. It also had a big fridge and a brand new aircon unit. They have rooms with different configurations. I did not use the wifi so cannot judge it but the login is clearly indicated. If the hotel would have had a swimming it would be perfect. There is a restaurant across the hotel on the beach with a nice view. The BF is only Thai rice soup with shrimps but it tasted delicious and they also do offer toast and jam/jelly , swiss roll with jelly as well as fruits.
Cons: The door to the shower is too low so I bumped my head a few times. I could only manage to watch one TV channel but I did not mind as it showed the coronation of the King and the picture was clear. The only drawback of the location is that it is on a corner so a little more busy with traffic and convenient stores are further away so you need to stop by to get your supplies before checking in.

Pros: Staff were very good. Friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities very good. Location excellent and access to beach excellent. Quality of food outstanding. Congratulations to the cooks.
Cons: The family room is advertised on web as having 2 bedrooms. This is not the case and the resort does not have any 2 bedroom accommodation.
Pros: The staff where very friendly and the food is the restaurant was excellent. Eat there for 4 days and great authentic Thai food at very reasonable prices.
Cons: The bedding band towels need to be changed. They are old with some old stains. The bedding and towels where changed every day.

Pros: very close to the beach, and no people around
Cons: Very simple rooms, and the pictures in booking are of course from the better rooms. So we got very simple rooms with beds and that's it more less.
Pros: What you need in your room is there. That’s it. Good restaurant, nice staff.
Cons: Very noisy aircon.
Pros: Nice place. Helpful staff
Cons: Rural location
Pros: The hotel was clean and not expensive
Cons: The location was far from the railwaystation and not near enough to walk to koh talu peer. The beach was not particularly nice. Staff speaks poor english, most not at all.
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Need sun beds or sun Chairs.
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Need sun beds or sun Chairs.
Pros: It was close to the beach
Cons: Alot of stray dogs, alot of bugs and ants. We couldn't leave any food out because the ants were in the room.
Pros: The location is great, on the beach, well 100 or 200 meters away. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff in the morning, and plenty of them to take care of less than a dozen of patrons.
Cons: At THB800 per a night I was expecting a fully-equipped bungalow. But that didn't materialize, instead - no desk and chair for proper seating, no bedside tables, no storage space for folded clothes, old TV set, noisy fridge and super noisy A/C unit, decrepit wardrobe, no electric kettle. Overall it felt like a large room furnished with old and basic stuff. Noise insulation is a an issue as you clearly hear what happens in the toilets and shower in the next room. In the morning, I was invited to take coffee at the so-called coffee corner (read all in one packet, no freshly beewed coffee) but I wasn't told it would cost me THB20. It isn't about the price, it's just the fact that I wasn't informed beforehand. Common parts need proper and regular maintenance because a beach resort worns out quickly due to the salt, sand and wind. Again THB500 deposit was requested upon check-in, Booking.com must ask properties to mention if they take deposits and include this info into the booking confirmation. Keep the receipt you are given if you want to collect the deposit back upon check-out.
