Pros: Some fresh fruits for breakfast would be nice. This bit of Thailand you don't experience; the peace, the ambience of the countryside and the hospitality of the hosts.
Cons: No restaurants close by
Pros: Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Near River with beautiful Sunset. Food is good. People are friendly and helpful Rustic atmosphere Bath is Good.
Cons: Ants & Inserts in rooms (Not too big a deal) Can't get Shower Temperature right.
Pros: The staff were so friendly and caring!
Cons: Laundry services (we did not make use of because of the price) and taxi pick up were too expensive.
Pros: Quiet & peaceful place, in nature, nice garden & views, organic farming on site
Cons: Property needs maintenance Breakfast restricted to 3 choices. Breakfast fruit choices should be standard
Pros: Myself and my partner travelled around Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and this was by far our favourite stay!! 1) Staff were so kind and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The owner drove us to the local market to show us around and to a coffee shop. They were very kind and taught us alot about the country. 2) A very peaceful relaxing stay out of the way of the city. I felt like I really relaxed here 3) The room was incredible, very spacious and had our own outdoor area which we sat and read our books in the evening 4) It was interesting to see how the mushrooms grew there and it was nice seeing how ecofriendly they are 5) The pool area was very clean and provided us with towels and comfortable lounging chairs. We were blown away by the view and were able to watch the sun set 6) Food was delicious and breakfast options were very good. 7) They offer fish food to feed the fish which was an experience and a nice touch 8) They have a massage service local in which the owner drove us, it was a massage in a professional environment and staff were very attentive I was very impressed by the stay and the staff. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the staff!
Pros: We took a weekend family trip for some activities outside of Bangkok and this peaceful resort was within 20 minutes of impact arena, dream world and DMK which is why we chose it. Great stay. The family who owns it is fantastic and we picked our own eggs and vegetables before breakfast
Cons: Nowhere to grab essentials like a toothbrush or some snacks. Once your there, your there. Grab and other taxi apps don’t have drivers available.
With a stay at Luang Chumni Village in Ayutthaya, you'll be steps from Ayutthaya Historical Park and a 2-minute drive from Wat Ratchaburana. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Kind of cool staying in a more traditional Thai accommodation.
Cons: It was a weird place. Felt like The Time Zone.
Pros: The room is nice (thai bungalow style) and comfortable. The staff (think he was the owner) was helpful when we checked-in and gave us an overview of the tourist scene of Ayutthaya.
Cons: The check-in was good, felt like it will be a good stay, but it was only the first impression. Then the experience was poor, we had problem with the tour they recommended us, the staff could speak English at all, and the breakfast wasn’t good as well.
Pros: Room and service
Cons: Parking lot was limited
Pros: The fact that it was quite easy to reach Soi Chikun, even by walk, and from there, the Historical Park.
Cons: The price is high even for only a week of stay in a traditional style house, supposedly more than 50 years old? As well as understanding Thai language well on years of frequent holidays in Thailand, the staff allows sharp criticisms on some customers including myself.
Pros: The breakfast was good
Cons: The bed was hard, and I didn’t like the shower toilet being separated downstairs. The bathroom apart from that was very good.
Pros: The location is excellent.
Cons: The staff was very hospitable, we needed to change room bcus my mum is with crutch so she couldn't use the room offered at the beginning so they agreed to change it easily.
Pros: Surprisingly convenient location - many main temples in walking distance (but consider high temperatures), grocery store, night market are not far away as well. Rooms are nice, in middle of quiet garden. Above par breakfast.
Pros: Loved the place. It was an authentic old style Thai residence. By the reviews I had expected that the bathroom would be separate and very basic but our room had a beautiful and clean bathroom. We only stayed one night as we were visiting the ruins and I wish we could have stayed longer. The ladies serving breakfast were extremely nice and the breakfast was good. It was very quiet in our room so much so that we spent a couple of hours watching NCIS in Thai before going to bed.
Cons: The AC took a while to cool down but once it did we slept well through the night.
Pros: The discovery of my room, a very original and authentic touch, that I won’t reveal here to keep the surprise to the future guests
Cons: The bathroom and toilets downstairs, but it remains ok!
With a stay at Daddy's Homestay in Bang Pa-in, you'll be 14.1 mi (22.7 km) from Ayutthaya Historical Park and 18.5 mi (29.7 km) from Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This has got to be THE best homestay in Thailand. The bedroom and bathroom were both spotless. The aircon was quiet, the wifi was fast and the breakfast was out of this world and hands down the best I've had on my 6 six weeks in Asia so far. The very best thing about Daddy's Homestay though are the host family. They welcomed me into their house and included my bicycle like we were extended family. They are so warm and happy and friendly. They made my stay so very special. It was a wonderful stay.
Cons: I liked every single thing about this place.
Pros: the landlord is very kind, he is very helpfull. The home is more a family house then an hotel; the garden is nice. To me it is a good place to stay with children. But it is 20km from ayuthaya and no taxi arround. Jo the landlord did have to drop us in ayuthaya.
Cons: the distance to ayuthaya, when I have bought this room, I thought it was close to it.
Pros: The family who owns the property are very helpful and nice! They showed us where a fun market was for dinner and helped us order food. Also the breakfast they served was delicious.
