Nice quiet location, easy access from santiago. Would have preferred if leisure centre was open in morning, only open in evening
- it is close to the fair trade center no
Location, cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel and the hotel staff The breakfast was poor, with a low variety of food and no hot dishes available like sausages, bacon, eggs, etc. Hot water in the bath didn't work properly:
Very friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff who made us very welcome. Very good swimming pool and a lovely garden. An exceelent introduction to Galicia. The hotel wasn´t clearly sign- posted
Very hospitable staff, family owned. Tasty food. The view from the room was of the rolling hills, quite lovely. A large, clean pool, surrounded by lounge chairs and beautifully landscaped. The breakfast was good, but I would have liked a little more selection. Maybe cheese and meet, fruit, etc.
We are from China, it's cool contry hotel!
Great place very relaxing. The staff if very helpful and accomodating. Late dinner hours
It's a Rural Hotel, family run, located in the countryside. Very kindly staff (family). Excellent and authentic food. Hard to find. You should take the signs 'Casa Rural'; Need to inform in advance if you intend to use the restaurant.
the hotel is a hidden gem, locality, food, comfort and staff where superb. and the views are to die for! nothing.
The staff (owners) were utterly charming and bent over backwards to please. The food and wine was excellent and the decor/ambiance delightful. Absolutely nothing
This hotel is fantastic. A quiet place, a good room, very good breakfast, fine dinner and a fantastic host. 1 km to restaurants and bars and a few shops.
Delicious dinner and breakfest. Very kind, helpfull and English speaking housekeeper. Nice interior. Thin walls
Visited santiago de Compostela, the galician coast and inland countryside No
Peace and quiet in a rural setting close to Santiago de Compostela Signage was insufficient coming from Santiago
Clean and comfortable. Spacious room
It was close to the airport
the friendly staff rooms were quite noisy, no soundproofing
Modern, large size room, very clean. Very close to Santiago Airport
Good quality restaurant Transport to and from the airport would be beneficial
Close to the airoport and the city.
Tranquil ;good food;large bedrooms;modern televisions which work!
We arrived at the airport in Santiago late and needed a place to sleep. Ruta Jacobea fit the bill. Pleasant staff. Good coffee at breakfast! We would like to have been able to buy water at the hotel to take with us. Maybe a slot machine would solve this problem.
Location, close to the airport
Pazo Cibran is the kind of place tourists rarely find -- an old family hacienda in the country but close to a major tourist town, and just down the blacktop road from a maravelous restaurant. Fatima and Roberto who are the main staff at Pazo Cibran, are warm and welcoming, and Fatima's breakfast spread of local dishes is worth the trip!
The kindness of the two delightful ladies and the feeling I was staying at home, not at a hotel. Oh, and the breakfast.
Very welcoming and enthusiastic staff and owner. Plentiful, traditional, breakfasts. Clean comfortable room complete with wi fi availability. Spacious grounds. An inclusive family atmosphere was immediately created.
The owner and her staff were welcoming, friendly and v helpful. A taste of Galician hospitality
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff; the delightful 'rural' nature of the hotel itself; accessibility for Santiago and galicia generally
Friendly, very helpfull people. Easy to get to Santiago (with the car) or even as pelgrim by foot
Very friendly and helpful staff. Offered taxi service to and from Santiago.
Maika and her staff provide impeccable hospitality, friendliness and comfort in the most wonderful surroundings. Pazo Cibran is a bit of luxury in an authentic rural setting.
Friendly well situated country hotel where the manageress/owner made us very welcome, although she spoke almost no English. Cost more than we hoped, but Spanish accommodation seems to have increased considerably in the last few years.
What I liked the most is the Owner. She is freindly, helpful, cooperative, informative. Simply great. The hotel is far from the City and does not provide lunch or denier, so it is difficult to find something to eat when you come from the City. The Owner went out of the way to provide us with cheeses, fruits, ham wine etc, so we could have something to eat.
I really liked the gardens, the surroundings, the quietness of the place, and the hygiene The watchful eye of the owner
We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delightful dinner at the hotel. The grounds are like a retreat house and a welcome experience after traveling most of the day. Very tranquil setting.
Serene atmosphere, beautiful location, buildings and rooms, friendly staff
Beautiful building. Nice location if you want to get away from it all. A little too far from the town. Very unsuitable for people doing the Camino. Unlike a hotel as no common area/bar. Very restricted to your room.
Beautiful facilities, quiet location The hotel manager was not able to speak any English. Also, when we arrived there were no staff at the hotel.
Beautiful location, warm welcome, gorgeous courtyard, lovely dining room for breakfast. would be nice if it had a dinner menu.
the hotel is beautifully appointed and the views are very relaxing. very quiet and peaceful
A beautifully restored 19th century hacienda, this is a beautiful hotel, with buildings scatterd over the property with beautiful rooms. The central building contains the dining room for breakfast. Dinners available upon request. As walkers on the Camino, it was 1.5 km off the trail, but would be ideal for bikers or by car. The host couple are welcoming and helpful. A real Spanish experience, located in the country with beautiful gardens. It was 1.5 km from centre town and the Camino route, which for walkers at the end of the day was long. We did appreciate the quiet and beauty.
What a wonderful experience in this charming Galacian hotel! The admirable staff does everything in their power to make your stay as awesome as possible. The hotel itself is just magical and in a beautiful relaxing area. The best was their food, if you stay here, eat here! The liquor cake nearly made me cry since it was so wondrous! The calamari was to die for, order anything and it will be splendid! Would go back in a heart beat, Thank you! No mini bar as stated.
This is a sublime place to unwind. Set in wonderful countryside, it is a haven of peace and tranquility. This beautiful restored monastary is a triumph, while the farming life around it appears to be a step back in time. We loved it. A car is essential though. The dinner menu is very small (although very reasonable) so we went to a nearby town to eat on the second night, which was a shame because we would have preferred to stay at the monastery.
