Super clean and comfortable, very stylish and cozy, Nan, Mark and all other staff are quick response for questions and helpful. Hope to stay again there for next trip in BKK.
Really a very nice establishment, very well located. We were very well received. The kindness of the managers, the staff, the beauty of the place, the room, the breakfast very rich and so delicious that we regret not having to stay at the magnificent 1905 Heritage Corner.
Excellent choice if you are looking for a more personal experience of Bangkok, staying away from pasteurised hotels and city tours. Everything is so well crafted, a lot of passion was put from restoration of the building and the original furniture, to the local delis served at breakfast every morning. The bed is amazing, and this is probably one of the quieter spots in Bangkok at night. The location btw is great, being a short walk to the palace and some of the main temples you get to visit it in off peak hours and stay away from tourist hordes. Once we found ourselves alone in the evening inside the Wat Pho complex. The area near the hotel is also great for good throwback food. We had some of our best meal in shophouse style places at Dinso Road, near the Giant Swing. Nan and Kathy and their staff were amazing and not only looked after us but also gave us great advice on the type of experience we were looking for in the city.
No negative points, it simply delivers the promise. This is a hotel with unique charm and personality. There aren't many places like these.
What a gorgeous little boutique hotel. All of the previous reviews say the same, but it really is a beautifully restored building in the middle of old Bangkok, right next to various temples and the Grand Palace. The rooms are gorgeous and there are lots of lovely touches. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, we arrived fairly late and had to leave early. Staff are fabulous, and had collected us beef noodle soup for our arrival as we’d requested, and made us coffee and toast even though we left before 6am, which was incredibly thoughtful and many places would not have provided us with anything so early. I hear the breakfasts are amazing and we will definitely be back next time we are in Bangkok and we will definitely stay for longer!
