Pros: Great value for a short stop. Crossed into France from UK late at night and was pleased to be met by the all night receptionist who was aware of our stay and able to check us in quickly and efficiently. The rooms are basic but if you only want to sleep this is fine.
Cons: Unfortunately the walls are very thin. There was a couple arguing in the room next to us (eventually they ended up throwing things at each other as well) and we could hear everything. They didn't stop all night and there was no attempt made by staff to quieten them down. I'm going to admit that I did not get up to complain but I was only in the hotel for 6 hrs and I desparately wanted to sleep - I kept thinking they would stop arguing but they didn't.
Pros: The fact that it had on site parking.
Cons: The room wasn’t very clean, it smelled of cigarettes. The breakfast was extremely basic. Not worth the price.
Cons: Room seemed a little tired, concertina doors difficult to move .
Pros: Heating is good, bed is comfortable and shopping is very near walking distance.
Cons: The room is small

Cons: Very little - the hotel was a little basic, but at a budget price.
Pros: Perfect for overnight stop
Cons: Noisy neighbours arriving & shouting at midnight
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and comfortable for our overnight stop.
Pros: The accommodation is ideally located for a stop over. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The beds were quite comfortable, especially the pillows, which you can even buy. Before departure we had a good breakfast. I would book again anytime!

Cons: Like all F1 hotels - it's basic. You get what you pay for.
Pros: Location, staff, price.
Cons: No toilet in room, some guests arrived throughout the night, even loudly at 2am, talking full volume outside the door (not hotel's fault i know), so only managed little sleep. Hotel smells of cigarettes even in rooms.
Pros: Close to the motorway
Cons: Room stank of cigarette smoke. It had no en-suite and really uncomfortable pillows. Covers had holes in.

Cons: No hot water in the shower, pool cold. Carpets stained and with cigarette burns. No restaurant. Dreadful location
Pros: We were upgraded into a very nice room with a super comfy and big bed
Pros: They should have english tea and eggs in breakfast..
Pros: On arrival the place looked excellent and we were very happy and excited to wake up for the spa in the morninng. But we're soon disappointed.
Cons: We booked this hotel for the spa facilities but it was only open for 2 hours in the day time and nothing was on or ready. The manager on reception told us that only 1 of the hot tubs was working but after 1 hour of soem other guests sat around complaining, she then came to turn on the other 2 hottubs. So she lied to our faces for no reason. They should have had it all running and warmed up ready for the open time of 10am not the closing time of 12pm. Also the check out time is 11...? No towels in the room.
Pros: Staff were smiling, super friendly and there to answer EVERY question or request....without ANY problems at all.
Pros: Spa area was fantastic
Cons: Smell in the hotel not so nice

Pros: Perfect location.... extremely helpful, friendly staff -rooms immaculate - would thoroughly recommend.
Cons: nothing.... it was all spot on
Pros: Rooms nice and clean, spacious, friendly staff, good breakfast
Cons: Persons in room 14 smoking out of the window which left our room smelling of smoke throughout the night as they were smoking a lot. It’s not on in this day and age.
Cons: Room I got was not in any way represented by the pictures. My room was much more spartan, no carpet, and old aged decor. Bedding was clean at least, and I suppose that's the main requirement.
Pros: Location was good for what we needed.
Cons: Hotel was very dirty, particularly the bathroom. Also found hairs in the beds. Only had one large towel given to us. Reception not 24 hour as stated. Restaurant closed. Musty smell throughout. Decor in rooms ok but in hallways very dated.
Pros: Location close to the A26 motorway to catch a ferry from Calais early the next morning.
Cons: No restaurant or bar open at 7:45 on a Saturday night. Needs a refurb.

Pros: Convenient, friendly and cheapish
Cons: Nothing, apart from guy at breakfast who stole my sons eggs he was boiling. Not the hotel’s fault. You just get people like that
Cons: We had a meal and it was not so great. I had salmon which was little raw and husband s meal looked like it was from a can. FAmily room was ok but a little small for 4 .
Pros: staff very professional and kind room was decent size with bath food (dinner and breakfast) was surprisingly very tasty quiet hotel comfy bedding
Cons: Walls were very thin, could hear everything in the hallway and the neighbours
Pros: We’ve stayed here many times. Always clean and comfortable. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. Location for us is great being just off our route to Switzerland.

Pros: The breakfast was ok but nothing more
Cons: The curtains were old and dirty, and he charged us 10euro for 3 half cups of coffee, WiFi was non existent i our room at the back
Pros: Staff friendly
Cons: Hotel looks tired Air conditioning not working just the fan operational. Room facing West so getting hot as shutters not working. Room like an oven . Window difficult to open/close potentially insecure at night.
Pros: Spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable . The room was nice and warm great hot shower. Good choice at breakfast at a reasonable price, warm baguettes/ croissant etc. Good location for us as we have friends who live close by. Good value for the accommodation. We have stayed here several times before it was taken over and this is much better than before.
Cons: The guest tray was not refilled each day with milk or coffee sachets.there were only thin paper cups to drink the coffee out of. The first night there was a coach party onsite who arrived back from wherever they had been at 2 am. Lots of noise, shouting, laughing and banging on the doors for over an hour. Then made a whole lot more noise at 7am when they went off breakfast.
Cons: The restaurant was closed, and had been for several weeks, but we were not informed. The room looked tired and smelt of stale smoke. Not up to our previous experience.

Pros: Value for money
Pros: Airconditioned Restaurant (Buffalo grill and Mc Donalds) around the corner
Cons: Not near the city center
Pros: Good location, clean, helpful staff
Pros: Eventually when the guy on a motorcycle showed up and gave us the key,,,,,,plus he was on the breakfast bar and pleasent,,,,but the breakfast is very very basic,,,,but like I say a cheap hotel,,,
Cons: It would HAVE helped if you had GOT MY NAME RIGHT ON THE REGISTERATION FORM FOR THE HOTEL,,,,,Very basic, the photos shown are misleading to what the rooms are like in reality,,plus there are no staff at reception after five,,,so when we got there the place was bare of anyone vto check you in,,we had to send for someone who came on a motorcycle to show us where the reception had hidden the key,,,,,all in all wouldn't stay there again,,,,,u know it was a cheap hotel,, nevertheless you expect someone there at reception,,,,
Pros: Excellent facilities - basic but clean and tidy. Right next door to a McDonalds and a Buffalo grill. Reasonably priced and room had basic air con which was nice because it was plus 30 degrees during our stay. Safe and secure with locked car park and you get a swipe card for access after hours.
Located in Cambrai, Domitys Cambrai - Le Parc de Saint-Cloud is within a 5-minute drive of Aristide-Briand Square and Musee de Cambrai. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, laundry facilities, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Comfortable accommodation in a very quiet location, 5 minutes drive from Cambrai's main square. Staff were friendly and helpful. The flat was sparkling clean. The flat is situated in an old people's residence, so not your usual set up, but everyone was very friendly.
Pros: This is the second time we stop at this hotel, when we are on the business trip in the area. The rooms are super clean, comfortable, and have everything one might need away from home. The ladies at the reception are very nice and helping, even though they don't speak much English, they do their best to understand and meet all your needs. Thank you, everything was great!
Pros: Location and Convenience of he secure parking was ideal
Cons: Breakfast choice limiting may be better to have it in the room next time or provide your own
Pros: The kitchen staff went to great lengths to provide us with an evening meal, beyond what one would expect.
Cons: It was not apparent from the description that this was a residential old peoples home! That it really closed up at 19;30, we arrived at 19;25 so just managed to get in and order a meal (limited selection).
Pros: The room was extremely clean, well equipped and spacious, everything needed for a city break. Located within a gated secure area and parking. Reception area and entrance very colourful and welcoming, the receptionist was friendly, helpful and very charming! The facilities were better than some 4 star hotels and the whole area within the hotel was very interesting. The shower room was a good size and well equipped with toiletries and welcome pack! I have stayed in quite a few properties in the northern France region over the years, and I can quite honestly say that this accommodation has been the best value for money of all of them! I would recommend to anyone and will definately be back again as Cambrai has so much history and things to offer. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.
Cons: Nothing to dislike!

Pros: It was very French . No airs or graces. Room had double balcony with shutters . Parked car across the road . Room comfortable . Breakfast excellent . Lovely champagne bar with pianist playing . Restaurant closed when we were there but good one across the road .
Cons: The only downside was roadworks outside the hotel but this meant free parking . It was a little noisy at times from outside .
Pros: Helpful staff; clean, comfortable, attractive room; very good breakfast; good location.
Cons: Nothing to change.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice rooms, great building and good breakfast! Storage out back for bicycles.
Pros: Proximity to train station and town centre.
Cons: Restaurant was closed. Very dated decor. The fact that a huge fair was located a street away from hotel and the owners didn’t warn us that we would be unable to sleep until 2am due to the excessive noise. We checked out early and escaped to Lille.
Cons: Room poorly equipped (no tea bags, no milk, TV didn't work, no drawers), no control over room heater.
The Best Western Le Saint-Claude, located between Lille and Paris, is ideal for business travelers as well as for tourists wanting to immerse themselves in a historic atmosphere. Freshly renovated, the hotel has kept its atypical configuration which will not fail to seduce you. In the city center of Peronne, it is an ideal place to start your visits of the Somme Battlefields. Close to the exit of the A1 Motorway, the whole team of the hotel will, also, have the pleasure to welcome you in the restaurant for a traditional and convivial dinner.
Pros: Location ideal for the Somme Battlefields
Cons: Unfortunately they no longer had a restaurant
Pros: Lovely Hotel, clean & fresh. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Perfect location in center of town, and very close to car park. Great selection for breakfast, both hot & cold. Snooker table, and use of computer. Definitely recommend

Pros: Perfectly situated in the heart of Peronne, Hotel Saint Claude provides both comfortable value for money accomodation with excellant staff.
Pros: Location only
Cons: The hotel was practically empty and restaurant was closed
Pros: Friendly staff & convenient location.
Cons: We were told within 30 mins of booking in that it was not possible to eat at Hotel as restaurant was full. Told the following day thah it was a mistake ! Also info. on your web site says 2 restaurants - a bit misleading as far as we were concerned. Others in our party in another double room had cause to complain about functioning of shower taps, unclean pillows, lack of towels (only one small and one shower size for 2 people.
Pros: convenient location.staff friendly.parking convenient.cleanliness of room
Cons: food -.recommend to eat out. no shower curtain.room rather dingy although refurbished.dining room shabby and dusty
Pros: Very close to the main square, for local food and drinks. The museum is 30 feet away. You can buy private parking for 5 Euro, but the parking is free on the street.
Pros: Very central location and cleanliness
Cons: no shower curtain, no towels in the room on arrival, very 70's feel despite the recent renovation,
With a stay at La Chaumiere du Tordoir in Les Rues-des-Vignes, you'll be 1.9 mi (3.1 km) from Abbaye de Vaucelles and 16.8 mi (27 km) from Musee Matisse. Featured amenities include a library, microwave in a common area, and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very comfortable old house that's been tastefully renovated to a high standard. Very scenic part of France, adjacent to the St.Quentin canal. There's free use of mountain bikes here that we used to cycle along the banks of the canal and around the village. Peace and quiet yet only a few miles from Cambrai. You can use the kitchen if you want to do your own cooking, along with the crockery etc. I went to see WW1 stuff of interest nearby and this was an excellent accommodation choice. The people themselves are very nice. Friendly yet respectful of your privacy. My son had a sick stomach on the second day and Catherine was very helpful and gave me medicine for him that was good and a great help as I couldn't buy anything on a Sunday evening in rural France! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if i came back to this part of France. We really enjoyed the two nights here. Very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good too. Highly recommended.
Pros: Magic location by the river, excellent breakfast. Early morning view.
Cons: Mattresses too soft, in an otherwise beautiful bedroom
Pros: So very traditionally French. The description was good. [It should be read on booking. This is in a small village]. The room was excellent with the bonus of a top Sony TV. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with eggs & bacon. When I visit my nearby friends again I will look forward to renewing my booking. The location was tranquil.
Cons: Nothing. Possibly a little difficult to initially find.
Pros: Nice location near the canal. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The mattress was a little too soft for our backs having driven a long distance.
Pros: The hostess was very helpful despite my poor French. Also gave good directions to nearby restaurants etc. House was beautiful and ideally located beside the canal. Recommended.
Cons: Property not very obvious from the road. The number could be a little more distinct.
Pros: Catherine was extremely welcoming and friendly. The setting by the canal is lovely. It’s extremely quiet.
Cons: The bathroom facilities were not up to a North American standard. The fixtures were not very clean, and the personal hygiene products of others were all over the room. It was too public! Also the bedding contained a beetle - albeit dead - but disturbing nonetheless. The owners are smokers and you can smell it in public areas.
Pros: The location is great right next to the St Quentin Canal: perfect for walks or just looking at the barges going by. This is a good place/base for exploring what the Nord region has got to offer. Highly recommended.
When you stay at Manoir le Louis XXI in Masnières, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Abbaye de Vaucelles and Cambrai Cathedral. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful property with gorgeous grounds. Awesome greeting by owners. Breakfast a highlight!
Cons: Bed could have been bigger and more grande.
Pros: It is a huge project to renovate an 18th Century Manor, and this one was done in a mixture of elegance and whimsy. Very fun! Watch the entrance though, the gate was made for carriages not cars, so hold your breath and enter carefully ;)
Cons: There's not much I can think of that would improve my visit. However, my wife said she could do with a little less rain, but it was November, so... I loved it.
Pros: Location close to motorway. Safe parking.
Cons: Handed bottle of water. No tea/coffee in room or TV. Lots of notices around room - don’t make a noise, will be charged for damage, etc. Strange mannequins and costumes throughout - little eerie. No local facilities to eat. Had to go to next town
Pros: Guys were so nice and had a great sense of humor. Service was AAA. Attention to detail on everything.
Cons: Theriey was cheeky. Lol.
Pros: This is a very special place. Lovely grounds and amazing building. The decor is a one off in a very good way. It’s interesting, comfortable, surprising and memorable. The breakfast is fresh bread, pastries, yogurts, really nice juice and brilliant coffee. Breakfast is at a time you decide. The welcome was friendly and entertaining. The Patron is a great guy, he speaks fluent English and is very interesting to talk to. He booked restaurants for us that were excellent. Oh and its quiet.
Cons: Having to leave to go home.
Pros: Breathtakingly beautiful estate & main building. Breakfast room is like being sent back 200 years!
Cons: We stayed in the family room above the marriage hall which is not in the main building. Somewhat disappointed as it is a recent extension using modern materials without the atmosphere of the main building.
Pros: Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Fun surroundings. Comfortable room. Even though it was winter, the location was ideal for exploring all aspects (historical, architectural, artistic) Haute France.
Cons: Perhaps better quality coffee at breakast?
Pros: This a beautiful hotel decorated with fabulous styling. We were warmly greetd by the owner and he proudly showed us around the beautful manor and gardens that took him 7 years to renovate to a very high standard. He saw that I had a bike on the car and immediately offred to store it in his garage which I did. We loved everything about the Manoir and want to stay here again. The breakast was amazing served in the stunning dining room with limiless coffee. It was perfect for us in that it was about an hour's drive from Calais. Highly recomended.
Cons: Nothing could have been done better.
Located in Holnon, Citotel Le Pot D'etain is a 5-minute drive from Saint-Quentin Hospital and 7 minutes from Village of Métiers d'Antan & Motobécane Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: location was great for travellers. hotel very motel-like. staff wonderful.
Cons: cold floor, rather basic .
Pros: The restaurant is terrific, rooms in proximity to automobiles make arrival and departure simple, like an American Motel. They allow dogs in the rooms but not in the dining room. Also 3 minutes from Autoroute. A perfect place either coming from or going to the UK as it is 1 hour and 20 minutes from Calais.
Pros: Room was comfortable and clean. Good location as we were travelling back through France to UK and needed a stop not too far from Calais.
With a stay at Le Prieuré in Rancourt, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Museum of the Great War and Delville South African Memorial. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: service was as described, staff was friendly. overall good experience. the family room was a bit tight , but fine for the night we needed. the place did not have anything for kids, although we came in winter and thus we did not make use of the garden at the back of the hotel. wine pairing was quite good with food if you select the option. the food menu has some pretty appealing choices. kids menu was pretty nice
Cons: no kids corner in door (we did not ask though).
Pros: Breakfast and food we’re good and value for money. Service was good and the staff pleasant and professional.
Cons: Rooms are in need of modernisation or an upgrade.
Pros: Excellent restaurant although the second night service was slow due to large birthday party in the events room. Location ideal for those exploring the WW1 artefacts. Plentiful parking. Fully opening windows for fresh air with lovely views over the countryside.
Cons: Our room was a disappointment. In need of refreshing. Eccentric electrics with main room light switch controlling power sockets as well. En suite very tired and in need of re-furbishment.
Pros: Excellent restaurant with English translations.
Cons: Bedroom a little tired and in need of updating
Pros: The reception rooms are wonderful. Massive lounge and restaurant area. The food was very acceptable and the staff very attentive but not overpowering
Cons: Unfortunately they did not have any rooms with walk in showers. As mobility is suspect for me, I was disappointed. There is no lift either, so although staff kindly carried the case for us, this was not ideal. The shower over the bath may have been acceptable but there were no safety grab rails. No hairdryer either. So that was the room and it's facilities. Not exactly what I would expect from a Logis establishment.
Pros: Very good food both dinner and breakfast. Good location for the WW1 memorials. Able to fully open window as it was very hot. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Stayed two nights but room not made up during our stay. Linen clean but room felt stale and unused. Bizarre electrics - switching off main room light also switched off some of the power sockets. Bathroom decor very tired. No air conditioning in the room.
Pros: The meal provided in the restaura nt was high quality. Restaurant service was fine.
Cons: Room was very small and not of the same standard of other hotels of similar rating. Breakfast vas very poor. We were unable to get an itemised bill for the stay as allegedly the prin ter was broken.
Situated in Crèvecoeur-sur-lʼEscaut, this guesthouse is within 9 mi (15 km) of Abbaye de Vaucelles, Somme American Cemetery and Memorial, and Cambrai Cathedral. Musée du Touage and Musee de Cambrai are also within 12 mi (20 km).
Pros: Breakfast and dinner were excellent with an emphasis on local food and produce from the owners' farm
Pros: Beautiful B&B in the French countryside. It really feels like you are staying at a farm, but one well decorated, very clean and with an amazingly comfortable bed (though the pillow was a tad too high for my liking). Shower towels were particularly soft and smelled good. The hostess was amazing, excellent customer service, continental breakfast was delicious: fruits, croissants, pan au chocolat, brioche, cheese and charcuterie, jams, cereals, etc. No cooked breakfast but that is not what they do in France's b&b's and honestly what we had was so good that I didn't miss scrambled eggs.
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: Amazing taste from the host for internal design, very cosy place and perfect to have a nap after a long drive. I sincerely recommend this please as was one of the best B&B I've ever been.
Pros: We arrived early evening and Madame offered the choice of her cooking us an evening meal which we accepted and it was excellent. Facilities excellent, bed comfortable.
Pros: Lovely rural farm B&B with charming hostess. Good breakfast included.
Pros: Lovely old farmhouse and extensions.
Cons: Liked it all
