Pros: - Well-maintained room with good quality of amenities/bed/pillow - Fantastic outdoor jacuzzi - Very delicious/home-cooked breakfast - Great hospitality and services
Cons: All are perfect
Pros: The hosts Chiara and Stefano are incredibly kind, welcoming, and hospitable. My husband and I were blown away with just about everything at this B&B, including the delicious breakfast. We highly recommend!!
Cons: We did not have any complaints!
Pros: Located a short drive out of Bardi. Chiara is a great cook and supplies superb breakfast especially if you have a sweet tooth as her cakes are a speciality and beautifully presented. Went out of her away to supply our dietary favourites. Very peaceful location near river, although you have to take a short walk to see the river. A deer walked through the garden early both mornings. Hosts speak excellent English and have great knowledge of there local history.
Cons: The view was not quite as good as expected, but a short walk down river gave a good view of Bardi up on the hill. Sadly the hot tub was being spring cleaned on the day we arrived which was a bit sad as we had had a long drive and were really looking forward to using it.
Pros: Chiara greeted us the moment we arrived and was so warm and passionate about her property. The room was really warm and cosy and was filled with bits of the old mill to tie in with the history of the place. The bed was the biggest and most comfortable of all the beds we have slept in in Europe. Attention to detail in all aspects of this bnb were exceptional right down to the salt scrub and the extra soft bath robes. Lastly, the hot tub experience was our highlight of our entire stay in Bardi. Neither of us have ever had an experience like it. Well worth the extra charge for this especially if you're after a romantic evening.
Pros: Nice place and comfortable room. Very friendly staff!
Pros: Staff were so helpful, as part of local festivities, staff were having a Private Party but still made my wife and i feel welcome. My wife is Vegan, and Chiara and Stefanos even made my wife fresh vegan pancakes, they were the only place to make my wife something specific. Awesome couple
Cons: Only stayed for one night, should have stayed longer
Pros: Beautiful place. Very friendly and exceptionally attentive hosts. The breakfast was really something. It was not just plentiful and tasty. We felt the table was arranged with full heart and great care to every detail. During a day we liked hiking up in the river nearby. And, of course, we admired amazing Bardi Fortress.
Pros: Quiet little getaway, very friendly and passionate hosts, delicious breakfast
Pros: An elegant B&B run professionally. The accommodation is excellent with spacious bedrooms, lovely modern bathroom and hairdryer. The breakfast is superb with home made cakes and a great choice of options. The hosts are knowledgeable and helpful. There is a large outdoor lawn with facilities for grown ups and children alike. as well as a gazebo and bar-b que and fridge. The location is superb being a 5 minute drive outside of Bardi.

Pros: The location and the stunning views of the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Cons: Being told on arrival that the bar and restaurant was closed and only open at the weekend. Poor breakfast and service

Featuring a restaurant, bar and terrace, Albergo Roma is a renovated 1920s' building in Borgo Val di Taro. It offers free Wi-Fi and a sweet breakfast daily, with savoury options available upon request. Air-conditioned and en suite, rooms at the Roma hotel come with classic-style décor, tiled floors and neutral colours. Each private bathroom includes free toiletries and a hairdryer. The hotel is close to all services. A bus stopping right in front of it offers direct service to the local hospital and train station.
Pros: In centre of town, not too difficult to find. Parking a little limited but ok for me. An old style late C19th hotel part refreshed. Bathroom large and newly refitted. Staff 'simpatico'. Quite a long drive along forested valley from autostrada. Good breakfast if you like cakes and Italian sweet croissants. Only an overnight stay so can not really comment on the place in context other than to say, like many other such places in Italy, it gives the impression of faded glory, of a hotel and resort that fell out of fashion a century past.
Cons: The interior designer of the seemingly recent refurbishment seems to have cut their teeth on high security institutions. The stairs and corridors —grey and more grey, heavy oversized fire doors— leading to the rooms in particular. Room itself better but still a rather stark style. Dining room rather sad and faded, mainly because, in early September, I appear to be the only guest: fill it with gregarious Italians and I am sure the rather empty after-the-ball feel would disperse. I have been making the long journey from Calais to Umbria and back for 25 years, the days when I could do 500miles from Switzerland in one day are over. My search for a really satisfactory overnight stop between Parma and Spezia continues.
Pros: Really nice hotel, absolutely great location, fresh, clean rooms, very friendly staff and good breakfast. Excellent location in a very beautiful little mountain village.

Pros: Clean and modern, excellent buffet breakfast (coffee especially), aircon in room, friendly staff.
Cons: It would be useful if the roadsigns directing you up from the main road had a 'distance' on them to confirm progress.
Pros: beautiful location in an often overlooked part of Italy, modern and clean rooms, friendly staff, pet friendly
Cons: outside areas not really designed for guests to relax, the plunge pool in the pictures was covered most times and not offered to us but used for a pool party of the owners, also we understood that this was an agriturismo with animals but still annoying to be woken up by a cockerel earch morning a 4.45 am, no mini bar or cold drinks available
Pros: Marzia and her family are really attentive, thoughtful and friendly hosts. We felt we had made some new friends by the end of our stay. The accommodation is very clean throughout and the rooms tastefully decorated and equipped. The air conditioning in our rooms was really welcome as there was very hot weather during our stay. We also loved the fact that there were horses, ducks, goats, cats and dogs on the site ! The property is in a great position with stunning views of the surrounding hills.
Cons: The WiFi was a bit weak at times but this is a minor point compared to all the positives.

Cons: Restaurant chairs were a little hard but that's typical. Had a wonder time! :D
Pros: Staff were amazing, food was of a very good standard Location was perfect for our needs
Cons: If the pool was completed & rooms updated it would be even better
Pros: The Family were nice people and could speak English.
Cons: Breakfast was None existent . Problems occurred when one of the family were not there. The Staff could not speak any English. Breakfast was awkward as dishes were not laid out and it was very hard to explain what we wanted. The dinner menu was in Italian only, so caused problems again.

Pros: We enjoyed yurt, the views, and the meals.
Pros: Beautiful location and accomodation- the Yurt was lovely and the bathrooms super clean- you get your own in an out building that you can only access with a key. Great for friends, families and couples, with a truly lovely homely feel and Diego (the host) was amazing with helping us get around Borgo and anything we needed- we went to a wedding and the journey up and down to this place is best suited for a car which is a decent size (ours was a smart!) and essentially gave us a free lift which we really appreciated. Also left a bracelet by accident and it's being posted out- which again is super appreciated!
Pros: Fantastic location
Cons: The street to arrive is not perfect
Pros: Wonderfull stay. Great location, kids love the tents. Plenty of ' activities' for the children (small pool, animals, ping pong ie table tennis, big fire in the evenings,...). We paid extra for meals on the evening and food was great and more than enough. Breakfast was not huge but more than sufficient and all home made (marmelade, Blackberry tart,...).
