8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, within the national park.....lovely villages and surrounding area! View of the Abbey is fabulous. Hosts very stressed on arrival due to workmen repairing damage to a room, from the previous day and didn't want us to park the car. However they were welcoming when we returned after spending time walking around the abbey and village.
Cons: We were prepared for the Abbey bells sounding at 7am and expected 7 chimes for the time......however be aware it goes on for ages!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location in a quiet village next to the Abbey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is safe private parking on the premises. We had a room with a beautiful view of the church next door. This was our first night in France . It was a very comfortable room, large and updated, and perfect for us to re-organize and get a good night’s sleep. This hotel is located within just a few miles of some very ancient and impressive Abbeys. It’s a very pastoral area to drive around. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. We will definitely consider this establishment on future trips.
Cons: Nothing. All was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very pleasant stay. Very clean rooms and house on the whole. Hostess is very kind and welcoming lady. Quiet nice atmosphere of the house neighbored to the abbey. Pleasant moment in the breakfast - hand made home style fresh cakes. Free parking on the territory, opened even in the late evening (we arrived every day around 11 p.m. after travel in Normandy), is a comfortable facility.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This great B&B is located right aside a remarkable Abby, the view from our room was amazing and the English speaking host was welcoming as well! Also nice breakfast.
Cons: Nothing! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were delightful and very accommodating. They provided us with a superb evening meal even though we hadn’t booked in advance. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was very good. The area is very picturesque. We would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property in a really nice village around 10-15mins drive from Roen. We booked the property to visit Roen & Monet's garden but didn't want to stay in a large city, & this was perfect for our needs, Very nice & helpfull couple who run the property, lovely breakfast & we had a nice evening meal one night at short notice.
Cons: Very quiet area, we stayed Sun & Mon which is when most restaurants are closed so if you like a choice of restaurants without travelling too far you may prefer somewhere busier.

Pros: breakfast was excellent with extremely fresh breads, homemade preserves, lots of hot coffee and a wonderful service from Mme Gueroult :) On request Mme Gueroult recommended and booked a table at a local restaurant on our behalf on the banks of the Seine which was fantastic.
Cons: Everything was very good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brigitte was very welcoming and provided a fantastic breakfast. Her house and the surrounding gardens are beautiful.
Cons: I would have liked an extra pillow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Lovely building in rural area, yet only 15 minutes from Rouen.
Cons: Can't think of anything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had one overnight stay in the superior room upstairs: it was excellent; very clean, lovely bathroom, and spacious. Breakfast was excellent with host's home made jams. Location is excellent: quiet and rural, but easy to find in a lovely picturesque town. Would definitely recommend. very good value for money.
Cons: Nothing: all excellent
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our night stay here and the village location was so French, and so quiet. Brigette was so friendly even although it was hard to understand us, we got there. The house was an excellent piece of hard work by her and her husband. Breakfast was just what we required for our long journey home.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brigette is a superb host and made us feel like we were staying with family!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent rural accommodation, within walking distance of beautiful Saint-Martin-de-Boscherville village with it’s stunning Abbey. The Superior double room has a very comfy large double bed ensuring a good night’s sleep. Delicious continental breakfast with hosts homemade jam and freshly squeezed orange juice, which is a nice touch. Brigette was a warm and welcoming host in their beautifully renovated property, which in the past was a cider press. We stayed over 2 night’s and can highly recommend it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very well presented and more than ample for starting the day of travelling. Home made preserves were available, overall an excellent breakfast. The bed was also so comfortable, I slept through the night for the first time in years.
Cons: The local area restaurant and Pub close early so it was necessary to travel to the nearby town to eat. Be prepared in advance for this. Not a big problem, just a little inconvenient.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very pretty gardens and peaceful The owner was welcoming and tried her best to accommodate every request
Cons: Unfortunately there was no fridge in the rooms which when it’s hot would be useful for water and wine etc... The owner was friendly but spoke very little English and was a little stern about not eating in the rooms and refused use of the washing machine that was in our bathroom. Also check in states 6pm which is too late although we did arrive early and we were let into our rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house in a beautiful location. We were welcomed with a lovely smile and a warm cup of tea. Breakfast was just right with fresh bread, croissants and wonderful homemade jams with freshly squeezed orange juice to wash it down. The house had well kept gardens which unfortunately we did not have time to use. Maybe next time! She happily made a phone call to book a restaurant for us in nearby Duclair. What a fantastic recommendation, the food was delicious and the location overlooking the Seine made it even better. Overall, a very comfortable stay.
Cons: If I was being picky I would have liked fluffy towels and more pillows but it didn’t spoil the stay.

Pros: This was a gem of a find ... we arrived after quite a long journey to be greeted by smiling faces and typical french hospitality. The breakfast included fresh breads form the town and Annie's homemade jams. Pascal asked us if we liked cheese and then produced the local produce.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pascual and Annie, the owners and hosts, are very friendly and made us feel at home. The view from the bedroom overlooking the Seine is wonderful. Duclair turned out to be a very interesting small town which when coming from the south is reached by what I think is the last Seine vehicle ferry operating. The river front and town square are attractive places to visit especially on Monday mornings when there is a market which has existed almost 1000 years.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts went out of their way to help us settle in, and started our day with a fabulous breakfast. Private entry for our room, and a scenic view of the Seine.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house and gardens spacious and lovely bedroom
Cons: Lack of a fridge for guest use
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was quite stunningly beautiful. Annie is an interior design genius, and the whole house, plus beautiful garden is incredibly restful, tastefully decorated and hugely relaxing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, Annie. She goes out of her way to help her guests. The breakfasts are superb.
Cons: Our room had a bath with hand held shower. Although very nice, we prefer a walk-in shower. The wardrobe could have been larger.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s a wonderful B&B in a wonderful bucolic setting, yet rooms are fully equipped with all comforts. The breakfast is simply amazing, with a selection of mini pastries, home-made crepes, ready-made bacon and eggs. The host is lovely.
Cons: Of course you need a car to travel around (and you can park in the b&b’s garden), but Rouen city center is only 15/20 minutes by car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What beautiful place.........amazing
Cons: Superb. Lovely private courtyard attached to room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is beautifully and interestingly decorated. The host serves an excellent breakfast with a lot of choice.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A lovely house in open countryside near the river. Views across open fields towards the river. We stayed here becuase we wnated somewhere to stay near Rouen but not in the city. It took about 20 minutes to drive to the B&B which is what we expected. A nearby village, 10 minutes drive away had several restaurants where we had our evening meal.
Cons: No extractor fan in the shower room so unless you opened the bathroom window to all and sundry there was no way to ventilate the bathroom. The toilet roll holder needs attention as it came off the wall in my hand. Just needs the screw tightening. The door to the toilet creaks noisely so if you wanted to use it in the middle of the night the nose would be a problem. Just little niggles easily put right. Apart from this everything was lovely.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charming house in nature... very quite environment. Very welcoming host. Comfortable room. Very nice breakfast.
Cons: Closest restaurant is some 7 kilometer away, but there is no traffic, so only a short drive. In that city, there are several good restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house was easy to find and everything was ready and clean. The owner kindly booked us a table at a restaurant in Duclair. Breakfast exceeded expectations. We were only able to stay one night - but hope to return for more!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Annie, owner and operator of the property, is a gardener and decorator and it shows. The house has been featured in French decorating magazines. The breakfasts she prepares are very good, special in our experience. The location is bucolic, cows and horses in the field behind, but only seven miles from Rouen, a lively city with great history, famous buildings and many restaurants. We are a retired couple from the U.S. to whom tasteful things appeal.
Cons: I can’t think of anything would change. It is not a place for small children or to hang around the property all day. It is a place of great charm to serve as a base for the many things there are to see and do in Haute Normandy.

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Ran by a lovely couple who were very helpful. We were travelling with a baby so had a cold spread each evening - once inside in the main living area and once in the pretty garden. Convenient location to visit Rouen

Pros: We had a very comfortable nights stay. The hosts were very welcoming and, although my french is limited, we managed to communicate. The family rooms we had were immaculately clean. I cannot find fault, it was excellent value for money. Thank you.

Pros: Quite picturesque location
Cons: Nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and peaceful place, very closed to Rouen, with a big garden. The room where we slept was romantic and super cleaned but the most beautiful part of our journey was the owners. This beautiful couple is lovely! With a little money you can get a delicious continental breakfast served in the living room. A special mention to the owner for his vinerape figs, which were so juicy!

Pros: Very nice comfortable rooms in pretty grounds. Spectacular abbey ruins in the village.
Cons: There’s no restaurant, and no really good ones around, although the albergue du bac, down by the river Seine is nice enough, if rather a long walk for your dinner.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wow... what a gem! We booked a one-night stay a few hours before arrival (after midnight). We stayed in one of the Spa Suites. The hotel would be ideal for a romantic getaway, or a small group who just want to switch-off. The duplex room we stayed at was huge with the bed overlooking the large lounge below. Jacuzzi and walk-in shower in the bathroom. There is also a pool that we used for a couple hours that was warm enough but very clean. Breakfast is a cold buffet with an option of boiled eggs. If we had more time, there is much to explore in the neighbourhood. We will add this to our stay-again list! The staff were brilliant!

Pros: My wife and I stayed here whilst driving through France. What a find! It's a beautiful, tranquil spot with wonderful facilities. The pool and spa were the most pleasant way to relax. The room (we stayed in Paris) was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was also great, its continental with a wide variety of meats, cheese, cereals, yoghurts, bread, fruit and more. The relaxed atmosphere made this the perfect stop over for us to unwind and explore the cute village of Jumieges from.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is what it is. We were in a pickle and needed rooms at short notice. The rooms are small and serviceable. The rooms were also immaculate and the linen was clean sharp and fresh. Good night's sleep was had.
Cons: The black paint
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find - once I figured out it was in a one way street! Plenty of reasonably priced places to eat within walking distance (Indian, Chinese - both buffet style and others). Good parking. Room with comfortable bed and very quiet. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast with plenty of things to choose from.
Cons: Bathroom was rather modular - all in one toilet/basin/shower - somewhat cramped but it was all functional.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The lighting is very bad, it dark and you have to find a light switch in the dark! Very poor. The code system for the rooms are not good.
Cons: The dark hall ways???.

7.5 Good
Pros: The lady on reception was lovely, the bed was comfortable, there was lots of free parking, lots of restaurants and bars nearby, very good price.
Cons: The room was tiny as was the shower room , very basic but adequate facilities, the wifi barely functioned
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Quite with lots of parking. It was impeccably clean, we were on the 1st floor and could open a large window to let in cool air, a good shower with plenty of hot water. Wifi worked well. Problems with accidents on the motorway meant we arrived after the 10.30pm check in cut off but phoned ahead and the hotel were able to provide me with an entrance code for both the front door and the hotel room. Reception was closed but when we phoned the number provided the staff acted quickly to answer our query. The bedroom was a little small but as we didn't have large suitcases it worked just fine for us. Also the bathroom is compact and takes some working around but as we were staying just one night on the way up to Calais it was perfect for the two of us to get a good night's sleep.
Cons: Breakfast didn't start until 8am - however, it was 6.30am on other days.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owner and family
Cons: For price can’t fault it!
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was clean very ordinary but not expensive
Cons: Bed hard

5.4 Okay
Pros: Very compact but big enough and clean. Shower gel and soap provided and easily accessible power points. Value for money.
Cons: Situation is rather remote. Stairways could do with a clean. Good breakfast and fairly priced but they ran out of bread and croissants
6.7 Good
Pros: Hotel was easy to find.
Cons: The reason we booked the FAST hotel was the fact that it advertised a RESTUARANT. Upon arrival we were informed that the RESTUARANT was closed until October. No apologies, just basically tough. After a long drive we didn't want to be driving again to find somewhere to eat. BUT that is what we had to do.

Pros: Comfortable and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Cleaners do the best they can with what they have but when the enamel surfaces have broken down on bathroom fittings there is a limit to what is possible.

7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were helpful and kind. The varied and excellent choice of the Entree, salad buffet bar. Really good breakfast buffet.
Cons: The air-conditioning in the room was totally not up to the job. Also the restaurant and restaurant was not air-conditioned and although my husband thought his omelette was excellent he could not finish it as it was too hot. Yes, it was one of the hottest days ever in France but Camponiles should be better equipped in this day and age. The buildings need updating.
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast was superb. Good variety of pastries and cold meats, eggs etc. Cereals, juice, tea and coffee. Staff very friendly. Restaurant very welcoming, bright and spacious. Location convenient for ferry at Dieppe only 30 miles away.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable, although nice and large. It made a noise when we turned over and kept waking us up. Toilet didn't flush, although to be fair it was fixed as soon as we reported it. Wash basin had 3 large cracks Faulty switch on table lamp Tube light didn't work (near wardrobe)
